Dangerous Ground is Book 5 in the Under Ground Series that should be read a part of the series for the full effect of this brilliant series. It’s Incredible fast paced, action packed captivating read from the first page. This author Alice Rachel continues to stun me by how incredible and more amazing these books continue to get. I didn’t think she could top the last ones but boy oh boy she did! It feels very real and has a depth to it that really makes you stop to think what life would be like if this ever happened.
This book is fast paced, action packed, but you never get lost within the story. The characters that are created and brought to us in this read are truly captivating, utterly brilliant, real and compelling. I absolutely loved reading Chase & Tina’s story you will be utterly consumed and compelled to read this book, and will love every single part of it!
Do not miss this highly recommend read, you will not be disappointed!

Burning Night: Where the ashes of the past awaken the future Written by Nikki Broadwell 4 out of 5 stars
This is the first book I’ve read by Nikki Broadwell and I’ve heard it’s very different than her typical style of writing. I’m curious to read more of Nikki Broadwell’s work to see how diverse her writing style really is. It’s definitely a sign or a great writer if they can stray from their norm and still knock out a 4- 5 star reads. While there is romance in this novel, I really enjoyed it as the story of a woman that is finding her self esteem and overcoming obstacles after escaping an abusive relationship. Collie is a character that you root for from the beginning to the end and the course of the story is truly gripping. I would recommend this entertaining even relatable 4 star read!

Isabella’s Painting was a fun mystery story. Karina gets caught up in an old Painting Heist mystery when she stumbles upon a stolen piece at Christmas. It’s in her boyfriend’s parents’ house, so that adds a whole other element. Then she runs into an old friend and things just kind of get crazier from there. One thing I appreciate in this story is Karina’s strong personality. She’s solid, independent, has a good head on her shoulders. I found the characters interesting and the story entertaining.

This is by far my favourite story from this series! I have enjoyed the other ones but I was completely absorbed and captivated by Chase and Tina’s story. I think it is really important that you take the authors advice because this book definitely is not a standalone so much has gone on in this series that builds up to this book and I think it is needed to fully understand what is going on. There is so much going on in this story that is very frightening feeling like reality. The author has done an amazing job with this story. She created a storyline I was consumed by and characters I absolutely adored! If you have read any of the books in this series previously then you will not be disappointed in this one. Dangerous Ground is a fantastic story that I HIGHLY recommend!

Shoot Me by Lynda Filler is the second book in the Lie To Me Series. It is a steamy action packed and a fast paced story that throws you into the world of cartels and political unrest. It shows us the real Mexico and the shadier side of things and their social issues and crime. The situations that the characters see on their journey are often heartbreaking and eye opening. Lynda shows us a scenes of children without family and poverty, corruption and murder which makes this one emotional read at times as you imagine it within your mind.
It is a tale of passion and erotica where men are just waiting in line to experience the lovely American writer and her coming to grips with how her life is now and what she is shown when she turns up to a new beginning.
This is one thought provoking tale that will make you sit up and take notice as it makes your heartache, making you realise that the life you lead is not as bad as it could be.

Truly Unfortunate is book one in the Welcome to Knollville series by C.A. King. I have not read a story by this author, and it took me by surprise. I did not anticipate the high quality of the story, the depth to each character, the complex and intriguing way the characters joined together to make a suspenseful dramatic tale. It was a brilliant paranormal saga and one I enjoyed more than I imagined I would.
Truly was a character I instantly felt bonded with. There was no getting to know you stage, I instantly felt attuned to her. She enthralled me. I just had to know her story. The author has this maddeningly clever way of giving a clue of what may happen next, without really telling you anything. It was genius. Truly Unforgettable was a one sitting read and one I truly will not forget. 5 stars.

Isabella’s Painting is the first novel in the Karina Cardinal mystery series by Ellen Butler. This is my first novel by this author.
Instead of relaxing at home watching Netflix, Karina Cardinal is getting dressed to attend her boyfriend Patrick Dunne parent’s holiday party.
While there, she notices Patrick’s dad may be up to something that includes the stolen artwork that was taken from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum years before.
The FBI was unable to solve and locate the paintings but with Karina’s new information it’s possible they may have been found.
I have not read a cozy mystery in over a year and have been wanting to. Reading this novel made me remember how much fun and entertaining they are.
While Karina is not a detective, she is really smart and is able to put clues together. And while working with a friend that is an FBI agent, sparks may fly.
The author did a great job combining an actual event within the story of this novel. I even did some research while reading and discovered more information about the heist which made it all the more to read.
I look forward to the next book in the series as well as the cover. The cover caught my eye before I read the summary.

It also has an unusual aspect, that the story is based on a real life theft. I couldn’t put it down down till I finished because I just had to know what would happen next. The twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat throughout. I really loved Karina’s character and look forward to reading more about her in future books in this series.

Let me start off by saying I love me a hot and sexy cowboy and these stories have them in plenty. I truly enjoyed these short reads. There were sweet heartwarming moments, tragedy, action, humor and plenty of romance.. There is something in here for everyone. I don’t think I can pick a favorite because there was something I loved in every story. There are relatable, loveable characters you will enjoy getting to know. I recommend these wonderful romantic stories.

This is the first book that I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it. It was fast paced and a very original story about a woman named Collie. She is in an abusive relationship and desperately needs to get away from her husband. A friend helps her out but when things go astray she is forced to find an alternative way of making some quick money. She decides to dance and collect enough money to leave but that’s when she meets a man named Tim and he might just be her salvation. The Killmores is the second part of the series by Martha Sweeney. There was no letting up on the suspense and action. In this second half.
Laurie and Aiden do not have a boring life. They’re traveling around the world with Cain and Mabel but not staying anywhere long just to try and stay a step or two ahead of Laurie’s paranoia and they do for quite a while. Until they don’t.
There were so many unexpected moments, and they were were perfect for this story. This ended with a happy for now ending but I could see future adventures with Laurie and Aiden.

Shoot Me by Lynda Filler is the second book on the Lie To Me series. It had sex, murder, suspense and resolution.
Layla has quite the life in Mexico. She is still writing and finds herself heading from Puerto Vallarta to Guadalajara which is so different from the laid back tourist town she is use to.
She meets new friends while there and it seems like everyone is somehow connected to one another. That becomes apparent when she runs into people she already knows.
Though there were some heavy moments this didnt seem to weigh on me quiet as much as the first. I feel like the ending could go either way, this could he the end or we could see more of Layla and her case of characters. I hope the latter.

Fisher of Men book one in this box set and is a story to be read with an open mind. And maybe while you are alone. No children in sight. No distractions. This is a very sexual story, so if you like your books a little taboo then this one is for you. If you are a vanilla kind of person when it comes to sex and preferences, then you should read this book with a notepad and a pen along with that open mind mentioned before!
Book 2 is The Catch. Finally!! A story about a big girl! A happy, confident big girl! Paisley is a serious, hardworking, sexy, big girl. She really doesn’t take crap from anyone and doesn’t care what people think. If only there were more people like Paisley in the real world! Paisley would make a great BFF, she could probably even convince “vanilla” people to try other “flavors”! And then there’s Calvin…swoon…Calvin is patient, kind, dedicated. Did I say patient? I did not know what to expect when I picked up Killmore but I knew it would be good for sure being an Martha Sweeney novel. I had no idea it would be this good though. I was taken on a completely up and down emotional rollercoaster with Leia/ Laurie and I honestly couldn’t tear myself away for one second from start to finish. I found myself finishing up this book in just a few short hours. I am super excited to know the next one, The Killmores, is available now to devour. That is actually what I will be doing as soon as I finish up this review.
This follows the tragic and yet transformative story of Leia to Laurie. At first we meet Leia. She is miserable with her husband and wants so badly to escape his abuse. This man not only abuses her but lets others abuse her for profit too. Finally things fall into place and she finds herself in the witness protection program.
Seven years later and Leia is now Laurie running a business and keeping things close to the vest like her past, the few friends she trusts, many weapons, and of course her heart. Everything will get a little tricky though when the handsome Agent Aiden Kilmore comes into her life and needs her help. These two have a connection that will ignite the screen of your kindle on fire! I suggest that you have a tall glass of water nearby! Watch out for the twists and turns that you just won’t see coming even with the warnings. I can’t say much more without ruining all the fun. For all that and more you will have to devour this little gem for yourself! Happy reading!

Easch book in this series just gets better and better. And this one, wow, I just fell in love with it right away. Skye, oh I’ve been waiting for her book since the beginning and what a story she got. And Edward, what a patient man. And his son, loved him to pieces. These two had so many obstacles to wade through and still they couldn’t deny the sparks they had. I would suggest reading these in order as they follow in a timeline and you’d miss how they got to the points they are now.

Truly was an interesting and determined main character of this novel. She worked three jobs just to make ends meet and was unable to recall her childhood. I was fascinated with her time spent at her doctor’s office attempting to regain those memories. I hated the amount of suffering she dealt with as a child. It broke my heart. I was intrigued with Jeff’s character as he worked to find the correlation of accidents happening and Truly’s past. I did not expect what happened at the end. Great novel!

Degrees of Control is the third book in the Prestian series from Via Mari. I have read the previous two books and in order. I would highly recommend that you do so as well or you will find that you are a bit dazed and confused as to what is going on with our characters at this point in the books. Each book really breaks down a stage of a BDSM/intimate relationship. In this one it is centered on the aspect of control.
I must say I enjoyed the other two books much more than this one. Not that this wasn’t a great read and I won’t be back for more because I sure will! These are fantastic reads, and ultimately this book made sense amongst the greater picture of things. I do believe once you have read the entire series you will see this for yourself. I’d be divulging just a bit too much if I explained too much more in my opinion.
The one reason I struggled was Kate in this book was a big pain in my rear end. I seriously found myself yelling out loud several times at her. This isn’t a bad thing though. Good books involve the reader right? She just really needs to let go of some insecurities herself and learn to trust not only others but herself.
The steam and kink is still there to keep you blushing and fanning yourself ladies, and don’t worry there is plenty of intrigue and adventure to balance it all out perfectly. I personally can’t wait to see what will come next for these two in the book four, Degrees of Power. Thanks for another great Via Mari!

The Killmores (Killmore #2) by Martha Sweeney was a action packed, not your normal romance thrill, with a power couple could give Mr. and Mrs Smith a run for their money.
I am in deep with this series, it’s everything I never knew I wanted in a action romance. Both are kickass, both are amazing, and this isn’t a story about the hot action, alpha guy saving the girl. No, no, this story is about a powerhouse couple that work together, fight it out and know how to give and take.
Outside of the nail biting action and heart pounding intense situations, the writing is on point. Everything flowed cohesively, transitions were near seamless and, the detail was rich and drawing. I felt like I was watching a blockbuster action movie instead of reading a book.
Not one for spoilers, I don’t want to say anymore as it will ruin this fan-freaking-tastic book. I will warn you that this is part of a series, and it picks up pretty much were the last leaves off. It has a continuation timeline and plot, so I highly suggest you read the first book, Killmore, as to not get confused.
So if you haven’t guest, I highly, highly recommend you get your hands on this book, this series. Take my stamp of approval that you will be capture by this power couple, their resolved and, the endless thrilling action.

This was an interesting book. Starting over from what you have known for so long is hard, and Collie does struggle at times. This book seems like it could be a biography, it is written so realistically. Collie is a great main character — flawed, but lovable too. There are many surprises you will not see coming. Collie has to endure so much. It also shows the stigma about exotic dancing. I would suggest adults only to read this since there are some events that could be disturbing.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

Healing Danger is an opening to Maddie Wade’s Fortis Security series that blows your mind! It is weird but the first introduction I got to the series was book five and it blew my mind! I fell in love with Maddie’s writing and I think by now I have read most of what she has written, including the Fortis Security series! It all starts with the prologue … it makes you sit up and it grabs you and doesn’t let go AND then you get to the epilogue and I promise you, you will blindly start looking for the next book in the series … Congratulations, you have gotten addicted! Healing Danger is the story of Lauren and Dane, their romance is steaming hot with a hint of sweetness that makes you fall in love with them, together… and add to it all this suspense and intrigue and twists and the paranormal and all those secondary character (who will be getting their own stories, one by one) and … what else does one need!
The Killmore’s (Killmore #2) by Martha Sweeney is the second book in this wonderful series and has you turning the pages of this great story to find the conclusion to this great partnership.
Laurie is a strong, bad ass female character who I loved to read about and the dynamic in the relationship between her and Adian is amazing. We got to see some of Laurie’s history in the first book but this book expands and draws you into more thrilling mysteries the further you read.
Adian is as dependable as ever but he views Laurie as an equal and they tackle the dangers together and I love how this relationship works, he is devoted to Laurie.
This was a great well written story with the twists and turns of a great thriller. The book gripes you from the first words and has you thumbing through the pages to get to the end as fast of possible to see what happens in the end. The characters compliment each other so well and the interaction between them is a joy to read.
I love that there is a strong, fearless female character which drives through the story to give you a sense of pride but also you see the vulnerable side to her with her nightmares and fears. I do not recommend you reading this as a stand alone as you do need to understand the back story from the first one but I would recommend reading the whole two books it is an awesome series.

The book is highly detailed and very emotional right from the work go. The author takes you on a journey, one that you might not expect, and keeps you fascinated. The characters were so interesting to read about. You could feel the depth to them and you could believe everything they were going through and experiencing. This book is well written, captivating and one I definitely think you should read.

I was so scared to start this book because I just knew when I finished Id want to jump right into the second book of The Brothers of Camelot and that is exactly what has happened. I love how this author started the Brothers series and then went into these 3 prequels. The My Life Series was awesome and the way she pulled in the Brothers in this story was brilliant. This author has to have a pile of notes or a white board with all kinds of stuff on it because she didn’t miss anything. Everything ties in perfectly and I truly believe Aless’s story needed to be told and this just has me needing the next book like right now!!
This part of Aless’s story was so full of twists and turns and I just can’t wait to see how this will all play out in her future. She’s probably one of the strongest female leads I have ever read about and I do hope that where she is now and what is to come she is able to find her softer side but I’m thinking that she will still need all of her training because we haven’t experienced yet the reaction to her actions in this story, that transition happened a bit too easy and I have a feeling the repercussions are still to come.
I have to stop there because I’m too tempted to give away too much! I loved this book as well as the whole series. Im praying the release of The Brothers book 2 if not far off. I’m so thankful I found this author, definitely added to my one click list.

A Tangy Christmas Kiss by Allyson Abbott is a Christmas romance that will make you have that warm feeling as moments of sadness. This is a sweet romance that is perfect to read during the holiday season but good to read any time of the year too. It leaves you feeling good that their is still sweet romance out there. The chemistry between the characters is very strong. The characters throughout the story are real, believable and easy to relate to. The writing flows and is very engaging and leaves you feeling happy. I definitely recommend A Tangy Christmas Kiss, you will not be disappointed.

I have read some of Angela McPherson’s books prior to reading this gem of a novel, but this, this wonderful read right here is my all time favorite of hers. I was blown away with this book, and frankly the only negative thing I could possibly say is that it ended. Even then the next one is available and I am so grateful because as soon as this review is typed I am diving into it!
Now, I personally adore Greek Mythology, it has fascinated me since I was little girl. My father and I have always talked about these magical worlds where the Gods live. So I love reading books that bring these memories to life. Angela McPherson did a fantastic job writing this story out. It was flawless and it flowed well. These type of books can often get a bit stalemate or over detailed, this was never an issue!
Trinity just wants to get through her last year of high school okay. Just like she has been. No she may not have all the friends in the world but she has what she needs and she is ok with that. Just when she thinks everything is going to go as planned things start to get weird for her. She starts feeling other people. And I mean “feeling.” Then enters the sexy and protecting Blaine. Things only get crazier from there… This book will leave you reeling, in so many great ways. I must go read the next one now! Thanks Ms. McPherson!!

This is my first time reading this author, it won’t be my last either !! I really do enjoy stories with a strong female character(s)! This story is about self discovery, determination, and new beginnings. Collie is a lot stronger than she even knows!!She has a vulnerability about her,but yet has an immense amount of determination and strength … she refuses to give up!She is really quite relatable in many aspects,I like characters I can relate to! Collie embarks on a new journey of life and love, after fleeing an abusive relationship. She is determined to start over. She knows she has to take better care of herself. I’m not gonna spoil it, but this a must read!! Go out and read this book ASAP… you will not regret it in the least bit !! I can’t wait to see what Nikki has in store for us next!
