I really enjoyed this novel, the storyline was so engaging and i real felt like i connected with the character’s. The story really has a way of pulling you in right from the start right until the very end so get comfy while reading as you won’t be able to set it down. It toyed with my emotions they were up and down like a yoyo but that to me is a sign of a brilliant read if you can feel that emotion while losing yourself amongst the pages. I do have a love for second chance stories and also it had forgiveness, fresh starts, love and friendship. I highly recommend reading this novel!!

That’s a Wrap is the third book in the cute and entertaining series about a bunch of paranormals in Vegas and the adventures that they get involved in. This story focuses on Mia, and I think that she may be my favorite character in this series. This story shows her strength and empathy, her ability to be both strong yet understanding is what I strive for. This book focuses on paranormal creatures that don’t usually get a lot of time in the spotlight and I appreciate the change up. This book is just a bit different than the regular paranormal stories and I for one can’t wait to dive into the next one and meet some more amazing characters.

Bonded is the 3rd book in the amazing Twisted Hearts Love Story series by Autumn Sand. Each book in the series can be read as a stand-alone but as this is such a fantastic series, I’d recommend reading them all. And if you are going to read them all then it would add more to the enjoyment if you read them in order as this may prevent any possible spoilers. We were introduced to the 2 main characters in previous books, Magnum as one of Tony’s men and Brenda was the paediatric nurse who looked after Cyma’s daughter Leila in the 2nd book. Magnum had a horrific childhood having been physically and mentally abused by his father. In this book his father is ill and this causes Magnum to have more flashbacks and dreams about the abuse he suffered. Brenda also has demons from her past that she’s trying to escape but it looks like her past is about to come back to haunt her in a major way. This book is a gripping, romantic thriller. The story grabbed you from the very first page and did not let go. You are taken through a roller coaster of emotions and there are many twists and turns that you just don’t expect. I loved both of these characters and how they both worked hard to help each other overcome their horrific pasts. The author writes fantastic characters who have so much depth to them and you really get invested in their stories. I have loved the books in this series so far and I’m now looking forward to reading book 4, ‘Impact’.

This is the third book in this series, I enjoyed this one as much as the previous two. A paranormal mystery that had me turning pages until the end. It is a well written, creative story that is engaging with fun characters such as a genie and nixie. Mia is a two hundred year old nixie who finds herself teamed up with the Paranormal Talent Agency to solve a murder mystery before the killer can strike again. They are great characters who make the story come alive. I highly recommend this book.

Mia is a movie producer living in Las Vegas. She is also a supernatural being called a nixie. There are other creatures living in Sin City, but the humans aren’t aware of their existence. When one of the actors in her current movie is murdered in a bizarre way, she ends up helping to try to solve the mystery. This leads her to a sexy cop named Jacob. This human fascinates her, even when she knows human cannot know about her. Should she trust him? Can she figure out what happened in the murder case? At what cost?
This is the third book in this fabulous series and it is just good as the others. The main characters are great — believable and fun. I would categorize this as a supernatural mixer mystery with a romance twist. It it quite fun and different. The story itself is great too. Never guessed the ending, and I love to be surprised. I hope to see more of Mia in the future, she is great!
If you like female lead characters of fun supernatural mysteries, this book is for you.

I love this series, each book has been quick and easy to read. I love that it is an ongoing series with the same characters popping in throughout. I also love that there is a story going on in the background that started with book 1 and is lingering there through each of these books.
I would love to see this as a TV series, I think it would be awesome and I would definitely we tuning in every week.
This story features Mia, she’s a nixie…now I’m not a big paranormal fan normally so this was new to me but the fact that she has lived among us humans for over 200 years made it fascinating. She is a producer that watched one of her actors get killed and is on a mission to solve this crime with the help of our paranormal talent agency helpers.
I loved how this book made me feel, I smiled through most of it and even ended up laughing out loud a few times. The literal sparks between Mia and Jacob (a human detective on the case) were fantastic. Their interaction with each other was so much fun to read.
I can not wait for the next in this series and I highly recommend you read all of these in order to understand how all the characters got where they are and I really feel there is something big happening and can not wait for that to all come together.

Thats A Wrap is the third book in The Paranormal Talent Agency Series.
It following the story of Mia who is a nixie(water spirit) and Liz who is a television reporter as they try to solve the murder of 3 actors who are murdered while doing Facebook Lives.
This takes them on an adventure with friends from the other books (Evie and Catherine) and also a new love interest in the form of Jacob.
I did enjoy the book, however i feel the unveiling and outcome of what happened to the killer was a bit short compared to the build up of finding them. Apart from that it was a entertaining and enjoyable book

Another wonderful 4 star story in this series and still the author has me captivated by her writing. She has created such an interesting and magical world and her descriptive language really allows me to fully envisage what I am reading. I love Ireland, I think it is a beautiful country and the author relay does it justice with how she has captured it in her writing. I really liked the characters in the story, they were quite different to what I have read about before and I think that made me like them even more. I am really enjoying following their story. They are very imaginative characters and the author has done an amazing job with them. Orlagh’s personality in particular really stood out for me in this book. These books can be read as standalones but I would highly recommend reading them in order for a better reading experience! A wonderful addition to this series and I am looking forward to reading more from this author again in the future!

This is the story of Ex Navy Seal Ian Chase who is now a successful Private Security Guard and FBI Agent Cassiopeia (Cassie) Ellis who met several years ago but Cassie was unavailable because she’s engaged. Sparks flew and when they meet 6 years later sparks are still flying. Chase talks Cassie into going out with him and even though Cassie is single she is not able to emotionally or physically be in a relationship now. Cassie has had a lot of tragedies in her life and she is still dealing with that. When Cassie’s life is at stake because of her past Ian will do all he can to protect her but he will find out what’s she hiding if he’s going to save her. The Queen of Witches is another phenomenal paranormal read by Brandi Elledge. It’s the second book in the Wheel of Crowns series, a series I would absolutely recommend! Just like the first book I completely devoured this one, once I started, I couldn’t bring myself to stop. The storyline is action-packed, intense, detailed and addicting. Plus, it flows perfectly no matter what order you choose to read the series in.
I love how Brandi is able to provide such easy to connect with characters and humor all while still keeping up with the dark storyline.
I can’t wait to continue the series and would recommend it to anyone looking for their next paranormal read, this is one you won’t want to miss!

Run to the Sea ( Reigning Hearts Book 1) by K G Fletcher. I’ve grown to love K G Fletcher’s books. This one is no exception. Its the story of Emeline Fischer and Thomas Capshaw aka Cappy who are best friends growing up on the beaches of Florida. Emeline is an artist who has to work all kinds of jobs to make ends meet. Cappy has moved on to New York City working as a Sketch Artist. When he finds out he was given his grandpa’s beach cottage after he passed he heads back to Florida. He never expected to see Emeline again but he runs right into her at the cafe he visits. They end up going down memory lane and emotions are all over the place. Next Door Knight by Nicole Flockton is the second book in the Man’s Best Friend series. These are standalone stories and you will not be lost if you read this before book 1. Kerry is running on all cylinders when Willow, her dog, gets away from her. Caleb finds Kerry’s dog and is the rest history? You have to read the story to find out if Willow has helped make a love match between Kerry and Caleb. This is a sweet story with a good message about the importance of caring for the family. I liked the growth of the character of Caleb as he dealt with his demons and who could ever resist Willow, a cute therapy dog for veterans. I liked Kerry in the beginning but she wore on me in the end. I wanted to see a transformation in her as I saw in Caleb. But overall I liked her and her devotion to her father. This story was a good read and kept me reading to the end. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

The Vampire Queen by Brandi Elledge is the third book in the Wheel of Crowns series. This time we get the story of Tandi, a newly made vampire, who is the worst vampire ever. She is not keen on following the directions of the Prince of Vampires and so how has gotten herself between him and the Queen of Vampires, who wants her Prince back. Like the other books in the series, the story flows and is easy to read. I like the characters because there is always good banter and conversation that help to guide the story. Tandi is great. She remembers her humanity and this often gets her into situations. I really have enjoyed this series and look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Wow, Book 2 in The Wheel of Crowns Series has just stepped up a notch. When I thought the suspense, action, adventure and sexiness of the men in Book 1 was a lot, Brandi Elledge brings us The Queen of Witches. Once again the read was captivating, thrilling and action-packed from start to finish and I couldn’t put it down.
This was a mentally, visual read that with the descriptive writing I could picture this read in my mind while reading it, I loved this take on the supernatural world and can’t wait to see where the rest of this series takes us. This author has created another extremely independent, fierce and amazing lead female, that through this story continues to show how powerful she can really be and how well she transitions into this new life she has come unexpectedly into. Once again the immediate attraction between out two main characters Charlie & Jamison is real to watch develop, even with everything they have to face they still manage to find the time to really look at each other and see the feeling and affection that blossoms there.
Another thing that Brandi Elledge brings to each of these books is the humor element of the story, and this time it was in the form of the incredible friend Tandi, I absolutely loved her, I loved her commentary that she would give and the little comments slipped here and there into the conversation just made this book even better. My only issue is would love this read in dual POV’s there were moments in this book and Book 1 that you really needed to get the male leads POV, I think that would just make these reads that one step deeper.
Overall I have loved everything from this author, there is not one thing I can fault about this epic supernatural realm I’ve been cast into and I’m loving every second I’m reading of it! Do not miss this read, I will eagerly be awaiting Book 3 to see who’s journey we face next!

Sad to say this isn’t my favorite of the Dark Sparrow stories. I almost felt Kai was a bit too soft hearted. I don’t feel that strong/alpha man vibe from him at all nor did he seem too wild. There are some intense situations here and if it wasn’t for his brothers I am not sure how it would have turned out. Isabel is a strong female character. She did a good job overcoming her past and coming out better for it.
I DO feel for Kai in this one! Although I don’t know whether to be mad at him or Isabel for this situation they repeatedly find themselves in. Yes her past could be an issue but it could be overcome… if it happens going forward it would be pretty hard to swallow. So I can’t believe there wouldn’t be another way. Cryptic, I know, but I’m trying to not give spoilers.
I loved seeing and getting to hang out with Zoe and Archer! They along with others from previous books make great appearances! We get to know more and more of their characters. This is a wonderful and helps me connect with characters through the books. Plus gives me insight to the remaining brothers.
I loved the idea of this book but I just couldn’t love it like I wanted. Maybe it was the first love mixed with the seedier side just didn’t mesh for me. Too opposite.. not to worry I will check out future books to see what happens to some of these characters.

Run to the Sea is a sexy sweet story about 2 long lost loves. Through no fault but their own, mostly Thomas’ fault, the two lose contact with each other. But fate brings them back together, hopefully forever.
Fletcher is not new to me but for some reason, she does surprise me every time I read one of her books. She’s a writer that pulls you into the story and takes you for an adventure. Nothing too wild and crazy but an adventure none-the-less.
This story is a stand-alone, meaning there is no story before it. Even though the characters have a past, Fletcher is able to tell their story with no confusion to the present events.
I recommend this story and this author. She is one to watch and one click every chance you get!

The Mourning Islands by Douglas Wells is a dark and somewhat sombre story that is full of secrets and lies, murder and danger. The mystery and suspense will have you intrigued and left guessing as to what is coming next. For me the story was a little slow at the start but it does have lots of twists and turns and picks up the further you get into the story. Doulas is very descriptive in his telling of the story making it easy to imagine.
If you are looking for a murder, mystery, then this book is for you.

I decided to write a different kind of biography. While the one written in a few of my books is accurate, this one adds a bit more detail. This one will give you the complete reason while I decided to not only write a novel, but to finally complete it, as well as continue writing.
Life is short. Yes, you’ve heard that cliche many, many times, I’m sure. For me, however, I understand it and feel it to my core. There are those of you who may feel it as deeply as me. Whether you changed your life completely, well, only you would know that. As for me, that’s exactly what I did, and the true reason I am now writing full time.
I had two close calls in my life, close as in the end of my life as we know it here on earth. This makes one stop and think. It certainly made me stop and think, a lot. It made me appreciate what I have, but it also made me consider if the life I was living and the direction it was heading was truly what I desired. This wasn’t a difficult decision for me. I always knew I wanted to write books, but as I said in the previous biography, something always seem to “get” in the way.
Besides the fact that physically I could have died twice, I did have four special people in my life who died way too young. They were all close to me as I was to them. The first important, irreplaceable person I lost was my mother who died from ovarian cancer. Next, was my brother who died due to heart issues; my best friend, who was more like a close sister, died due to breast cancer, and lastly, a cousin who was also a best friend to me, to suicide.
This alone should have been enough for me to make changes in my life. It did get me to seriously consider making these changes and attempt to start that writing career multiple times, but it didn’t push me over the edge enough to do it. It took me being diagnosed with breast cancer, not having great odds, and a couple of years contemplating my life that finally gave me the push I needed to close my business and write full time. It’s the second scare I experienced that keeps me writing.
So, if you don’t wake in the morning looking forward to starting your day, hopefully with a smile, then maybe you need to take a second look at the direction of your life. I found the joy and passion in writing books. Do I want to sell lots and lots of books? Of course. But that isn’t my driving force. I know not everyone is going to love my stories; but that doesn’t matter as much as the fact that I enjoy writing them. It makes me happy; it makes me full whole, and it makes me wake looking forward to starting my day because I know I have something waiting for me that I love to do.

Wanna ‘run to the sea’ and get away? Well I do believe the that KG Fletcher has managed to encapsulate the perfect little weekend getaway between the covers of Run to the Sea. I absolutely could sit her and tell you for hours my favorite moments in this novel, there were many and truly it’d turn into a verbatim quote by quote review so you would only miss out on the good stuff for yourself that way. Instead I will tell you this is one of those books that just about anyone can relate to. We have all been at that point in our life that our MC’s were in, questioning every decision we ever made and if we are truly where we should be at this point in life. The moments worth making into a novel are the ones in which we make pivotal decisions in what we definitely need going forward. Cappy and Emmy both find themselves in this moment and we get a front row seat to all of the beautiful emotion, drama, laughter, love, and memories that accompany this.
I couldn’t put this book down from page one to the very end and found myself devouring it in just one short rainy afternoon. The scenery and the way that Fletcher writes it is transformative in the sense that I felt as if I was right there breathing in the salty sea air and the dragging my toes in the warm sand. I would say every moment was worth every bit of a five star rating and I can’t wait to find out what will come next from the pen of KG Fletcher!

Okay so this is a tad of a ghost story too but really I was taken with the beautiful detailed and captivating love that develops between Emily and Sean. From the moment Emily kisses that stranger at the Masked Charity Ball (Sean) everything changes. She doesn’t believe in that ghost stuff and there is no such thing as supernatural in her world, but she finds herself on a ghost tour anyway, and face to face with Sean again. Then there is the mysterious box that shows up on her doorstep with evil powers. Sean could be the only one to convince her that ghosts and the supernatural are real and that they could be in some very serious danger.
It isn’t your typical read and I was totally sucked in from the very first moment until the bittersweet last page. My only solace is that there will be more books to come in the Crescent City Ghost Tours series from the fabulous Carrie Pulkinen. I can only hope it won’t be too long of a wait. I know I will be checking out all of her previously released writing in the meantime as well. Thanks for the wonderful read Ms. Pulkinen!
Maddison and Jaxon – steamy. Dramatic. Wonderfully up and down. I wanted to shake them and scream at them and laugh with them… as you can tell it gave me all the feels. I didn’t have any expectations when I picked up this series but hands down loved every page. Definite recommend this second chance romance. Deliciously wonderful.

If you haven’t had a chance to devour the first three books in the Druid’s Brooch series I would HIGHLY recommend that you do that before you pick up Misfortune of Vision, her latest installment. In Misfortune of Vision we go back to 12th century Ireland and get plenty of new adventures full of Norman warriors, Fae Lord, and Orlagh. I loved the Seer she was so much fun to read and brought a magic to the story that truly lit up my kindle screen. Nicholas did a wonderful job once again building the scenery and taking you to the places in the book, I felt as if I was actually there. I could smell the air and feel the wind on my face at times, I felt that transported. I can’t wait to see where the next book will take us. Thanks for the fabulous read Ms. Nicholas!

I must say I am struggling a tad with exactly where or how I want to place this book on a star scale. I have never had the pleasure of reading anything R.L. Dunn prior to Secure Desire so I was completely new all of her writing style. Dunn has one hell of a knack for detailed writing. While I loved that most of the time I felt like I was right there with the characters and in the moment I could have done without some of it sometimes. It felt a tad heavy. Only because I wanted to get to the the point and found myself several times confused in the novel. There is immaculate research done clearly evident as well, but again, I don’t want to feel as if I am in the History Channel.
Bottom line, I adored the story for what it was, and found myself falling in love with Ian and Cassie quickly. I was invested in them from the get-go and was on the edge of my seat wondering how everything was going to turn out for them in the end. Which I must say was quite unpredictable as well! Another fantastic plus. I look forward to checking out more of the Chase Group Stories and whatever else is available or will be to come from R.L. Dunn.

Gahhh!!! This book blew me away! I just absolutely love anything that comes from Gwyn McNamee, especially her Hawke Family series so I knew this would be an extra good treat for me. Now I may be partial so keep that in mind, but I would highly recommend that you read the other novels in the series before you get your paws wrapped into this one good and deep. You will truly have the best experience and and appreciation for all the characters and going ons. Now that I have said my piece, this is a little standalone novella that read quickly for me in just a quick afternoon for being so jam packed full of story. I was so darn happy that we finally get Saint and Caroline’s story though so I was consumed from the get-go. I’m not going to give away any of the guts and grits of this great read. For those you will have to trust me that this is a five-star must have and one-click today! I can’t wait to see what we will get next from Gwyn McNamee. I am sure whatever it is will be just as amazing!

Blinded by Betrayal with Spin Drift: Book One (Silent Secrets) by Lisette Kristensen
I absolutely loved this story. Even though this is a short read it is full of action, twists, danger, steamy moments and more. Sloane finds herself in a bad situation when her husband turns into a rat and so she has to start a new life. She finds that she’s stronger than she thought and in her journey she finds out so much more about herself. I am very anxious to find out what happens next in her life/story. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and I’m sure the next one will be just as awesome. This book definitely packs a punch and I highly recommend this story and I cannot wait to read the next one in this series.

5 Star Wild Bastard: A Dark Sparrow Novel By India Kells
Wild Bastard: A Dark Sparrow Novel is a romantic suspense that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down till the last page. I literally couldn’t turn the pages fast enough I had to know what happens next. This Author is one of my favorite Authors and I absolutely love her style of writing and how she literally grabs ahold of you in the beginning and doesn’t let go till the end. Her characters are very well developed and easily relatable. They are true to life. This is the third Book in this series but can be read as a standalone with no problem. I do recommendreading the first two books but like I said its not necessary. Find out what happens next with Isabel and Kai. Can these two have their second chance? Can Kai let go of the past? I highly recommend this must read Book. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

The first of the Silent Secrets series is Blinded by Betrayal where the daughter of a mafia boss has her privileged life ripped away from her. Sloane’s husband, Jimmy, is picked up by the cops and immediately starts talking. I kind of get that line of thinking but if I were involved in any sort of criminal activity, I would never speak to the cops. Jimmy holds no real love for anyone but himself so he doesn’t care who his words put in jeopardy. Sloane’s father and everyone else now see both of them as traitors. She can take pretty good care of herself but with powerful people now after her, Sloane must turn to a childhood friend. Spin Drift is a great sequel novella that left me with a few more questions than I had at the end of Blinded by Betrayal but it did get me more excited for the next book in the series.

Blinded by Betrayal with Spin Drift (Silent Secrets #1) Lisette Kristensen was a quick, okay read that kept me reading.
This short read was fast, steamy, actiony, and a little jumpy. The plot for me was a little hard to follow, as I found it didn’t match the synopsis. What I thought I was going to read about, didn’t happen. At first yes, it followed what I was expecting, then things are really smutty, sexy, and I don’t really know why. What I really want to know is what happen with what I thought was the male MC, he just, vanished, and I just, again don’t know. This wasn’t a bad read by all means, it was just for me, not coherent, or smooth. I don’t really know if I like the MC, there wasn’t enough character development, nor was there proper plot development.
Overall if you’re looking for something quick, with a mix of smut, action and espionage, then give this book a chance. As I said, though I felt disjointed with this book, I did like it, and I did have fun reading it. It’s well written, and the dark tone is consistent and hooking. So please take my recommendation and stamp of approval, that you will have fun reading this mixed read.

Lies Come True is the opening act of Emerald O’Brien’s Avery Hart Trilogy. It is like sitting down and watching a British serial crime drama television series (think of Broadchurch…) that is taking place in Birch Falls, Ontario. The writer is masterful in keeping you at the edge of your seat and as Lies Come True is the first of the trilogy then she will leave us with one heck of a cliffhanger that I am sure I am not the only one impatient to read! We have Avery Hart who survived an attack when she was fourteen. Wind forward ten years and another woman has been attacked and she survives as well … are these cases related? Enter Inspector Noah Cotter who is keen on solving the case while also being attracted to Avery … the writer gives us some intense and detailed police investigation descriptions, a puzzle that I was not able to solve until the pieces had been put together and actually, there are still some things up in the air … I have a slight feeling that we need to get to the end of the trilogy to be able to solve it all!
