Chains is book one and introduces us to Cleo, Marcus and Master Chains. I instantly fell in love with these characters. As I did with Boyes characters from the Enigma and Perception series. The ending though…I just want to shake this author! Boyes writing style pulls the reader right into the story where nothing else matters.

Links is book two and continues Cleo and Marcus’ adventure. However, my heart is breaking for Cleo because I know that there is evil at work here. I can feel something big is about to happen!

“Because it isn’t what we have in value that defines us; it is how well we rise after falling that shows our true spirit.”

I am also beginning to see a pattern for this author…she really likes a cliff hanger where the reader is screaming NOOOOO!!! Right up to the last word!

Bound is book three in this series and starts off right where Links leaves us! This adventure is “A true rollercoaster ride.” Exactly the way Cleo’s emotions are through-out the entire book! This book has been by far my favorite. The action both in the bedroom…er….playroom and out leaves me a little breathless. So looking forward to reading more about Marcus before Cleo kills him!

Restrained is the fourth book and the exciting conclusion that will rip you open and put you back together again. This book is faster paced than the rest of the series. It is exactly how a conclusion should be…except that there are a few characters that go MIA so does that mean there will be more?!? As far as Cleo and Marcus’ story they truly have “The best of both worlds”. This story was worth every penny spent and every tear shed.

I highly recommend this series!

Love Bites Harder is the second and final book in the Darkness & Light Duology by T.L Clark. WOW! What a spellbinding instalment to this wonderful Duet/series. As I discovered in the first book, the author weaves a superb tale that bursts to life under her magical touch. I got to discover witches, faeries, sorcerers, Elinefae, magic, mystery, suspense, and so much more between these covers that enthralled and enchanted me . This story is an original, quite unique from anything that I had read in this genre before. I can tell that the author has put a lot of thought, imagination, heart and soul into this story. After reading the first book and loving it as much as I did, I must admit that I had some high expectations for this book- and I am sooo happy to say that Ms. Clark didn’t disappoint, she delivered everything that I was hoping for, and then some.
This story picks up right where the first book ended. Shakira and Pryderi thought they had finally got the chance to make a life together after the events in the last book. But, Pryderi decision leaves Keira devastated and reeling from the hurt. Pryderi is torn in two, put in a no-win situation that shreds him to the core. Can these two find a way to be together and live the life they both dream of? Will Kiera finally find the home she longs for and a place where she truly belongs? But with dark force lurking in the shadows, danger seems to follow her. With her safety on the line, she must decide who she can and can’t trust. This story sees her making wondrous new discoveries, as well as experiencing some soaring highs and heart aching lows. Things aren’t all as it appears and she will need to navigate through it, all the while learning about her newfound powers. What unfolds will keep you captivated the whole way through.
The characters are wonderfully developed individuals with their own personalities, quirks and flaws. Kiera and Pryderi are fantastic, as are all the secondary characters. I loved Shui and Tarrah, they added a little extra magic to the story. As with the first book I have to say again that I am blown away by all the unique touches that Ms. Clark has given her story and the characters- and there is such a vast array of magical creatures who inhabited these books- they really made the story/series such an exciting and memorable experience. And then, there is the matter of the incredible world building skills that Ms. Clark demonstrates throughout this story. She really brought the whole thing to life using her wonderful imagination, and flare with words.
I really can’t wait to read whatever Ms. Clark writes next!

Hagen is the first book in the Big series by Janice M. Whiteaker. What a fun and original story this turned out to be. It is a paranormal romance with Bigfoot playing a leading role! It was funny, emotional, and very steamy.
Rhea is a 28-year-old camera operator who has travelled all the way to the Appalachian Mountains for a job that she hopes will be the big break she has been dreaming of. She meets up with the director and the rest of the crew at the bed and breakfast that they will be using as their headquarters during filming. They are making a documentary about Bigfoot, which means hiking into the forested mountain to try and capture their prey on film. This project will require them to camp out overnight as well. They have hired a local to guide them into the wilderness and to help keep them safe. When Rhea first lays eyes on the guide she knew immediately he had the power to break her. There is definitely something different about him that intrigues her, and she is determined to work out what it is.
Hagen feels cursed and thinks fate has robbed him of the chance of a normal life. This has left him a little bitter and lonely. Now he is going to be stuck in the woods babysitting a bunch of city slickers with plans on capturing convincing footage of Bigfoot’s existence. Not if he has anything to do with it. But having Rhea in close proximity for the whole time, as well as a meddling mother and an old prophecy to contend with- does he really stand a change at remaining indifferent and standoffish? What happens when BOTH their secrets are revealed?
This is my first paranormal story with Bigfoot and I can honestly say it was fantastic. I really enjoyed getting to know Hagen and Rhea and following their journey. Now I can’t wait to dive into book two.

We’ll Begin Again is a fantastic second chances/military veteran/single mother romance that is all about new beginnings, grief, heartache, torment, overcoming seemingly impossible odds and starting again. This story is beautifully written by Ms. Lee- whose work I hadn’t read before now, but after this great story I would definitely recommend this book and I look forward to reading more of her work.
Amelia Montgomery is a lawyer and single mother to her 9-year-old son, Charlie. They have recently moved to a new city, so Amelia can start a new job, and she is hoping that it will be the fresh start she needs to move on with her life after her failed marriage. On her first day at her new work she passes a bench where a homeless man sleeps in the cold and snow. She can’t help but feel compassion for his situation and wonders how he came to be in that situation. Little did she know at the time, but this man would soon become an important part of her life.
William Divola is an army veteran who has endured more heartache than any person should ever have to. his own his life had been shattered by several tragic events, leaving him broken, lonely, haunted and homeless. He had lost faith in himself, and humanity for that matter. His life was a constant struggle, until a ray of sunshine in the form of Amelia brought warmth and hope back into his life.
This is such a touching, romantic and emotional story. I really loved every minute of reading it. The characters are realistic and relatable- and their story is entirely believable. My heart ached for what William had endured. Ms. Lee really ‘shows’ what living on the streets is like, and it was confronting.
The story contains flashbacks which help to fill in some of the backstory and gave a deeper perspective to Williams situation, feelings etc. The story is told from a duel POV, has a great pace and a smooth flow.

The Unholy by Paul DeBlassie III is an urban fantasy with mystery, suspense, drama, American Indian beliefs/culture, religion, good vs evil, and some supernatural elements.
Claire is on a journey of discovery- hoping to find herself as well as tracking down her mother’s murderer. Along the way she finds a lot more than she had bargained for- secrets are revealed, truths are uncovered, and darkness and horror are confronted.
I was very intrigued by the elements of this story, having read some of Mr. DeBlassie’s work before I was curious about where he would lead us on this adventure. He piqued my interest right from the get go and I zipped through the pages reading as quickly as my eyes would allow to discover what would happen.
I liked Claire and was rooting for her the whole way through. All the characters were well developed, and all contributed to the overall storyline.
I wonder what Mr. DeBlassie has in store for us next?

Beachcomber Danger is another instalment in Stephanie Queen’s Romantic Detective series “Beachcomber Investigations”! I have read most of the series since I fell in love with Shana and Dane the first time I met them!
Beachcomber Danger is another brilliant Shana-Dane story! Shana would like to concentrate on planning their wedding but well, nothing goes as one hopes for! The couple is pulled into national emergency as there is a threat to the President of the Free World and who would be better to assist then the legend of special ops aka Dane Blaise … but of course, everything is not as simple as it seems on the surface and the further down we go the rabbit hole, the more gets revealed and the more Dane struggles with his feelings for Shana as they make him weak and vulnerable (or so he thinks) …
The story can be read as a standalone and apart from Shan and Dane we will meet again with the rest of the Island gang and let’s not forget about Archer and the Governor and … The writer has created a world that keeps inviting you back, story after story … a world inhabited by characters that are so easy to relate to and that make you laugh and cry … Cannot wait for the next story!

The One That Got Away by Charlotte Roth​ is a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. Charlotte’s characters are real and I connected with the main character from the get go. This is an contemporary adult story about a married woman that has lost herself in amongst raising her family and who is trying to find herself again. This book had me laughing out loud with her best friend and crazy mother and there were a few tears. Imagining Rome bought back lots of memories and made the story seem more real.

This is definitely a must read for all women but make sure you have a few tissues and a stiff drink and enjoy the journey.

Bound Box set by Shandi Boyes is without doubt is one series that is a must read. Shandi  is one of my go to authors and I have read a few of her books and they have never  let me down. Shandi’s writing always grabs me from the very first page and keeps me  spellbound page after page. I had read book one in the series and loved it but had not  read the other three, so having them all on hand to read from start to finish is a bonus  because once you start you do not want to stop. This series is smoking hot and sexy,  dark and sinful.     There were laughter, frustration and tears but I cannot recommend this Author and her  books enough.

Sacrificed by Anna Applegate is the third and final book in the Ariya Adams trilogy. I highly recommend reading the books in order because the story continues from book to book. The story is supernatural, action, and romance rolled into one. There are werewolves, vampires, and all sorts of other supernatural creatures. The main characters are back in this novel. Ariya, James, Caroline, Riley, and Nick are all trying to learn to trust to continue and succeed in their journey. The group has made some poor decisions in trusting the wrong people in the past. Audrey is back and more of a problem than ever. Can the group finally rid themselves of herself once and for all? Ariya also has her own challenges to face without drawing James into the challenge.
The book is well written and the characters have continued to develop through the series. I had a hard time putting it down because the story had drawn me in. I enjoyed this book and the entire series. I will continue to look for more from Anna Applegate in the future.

Willow’s Cry is a magical story by Beverly Ovalle. It is a very erotic novella- the story is both sweet and steamy. It is well written, with an almost lyrical feel to the writing. Ms. Ovalle is a ‘new-to-me’ author, but after reading this book I will definitely be looking for more of her work to read. This story is a little different from some of the others in the same genre- Fantasy/paranormal/romance- it was easy to lose myself in the story and I was enchanted by it. The characters are very endearing, and I became invested in them and their story.
Alex and Willow are wonderful characters, who have their own unique qualities- I don’t want to spoil the story by giving away too much- you really should discover all the surprising details for yourself- but suffice to say their uniqueness is what brings them together, along with a twist of fate (and Mother Nature).
I loved all the surprising revelations through the story. They are very creative and clever. Ms. Ovalle has crafted a wonderful world in which to set her story- I loved all the unique touches and her scene setting, from the description of the storm, to the trees, the glade, the water sprites, mother nature, and so much more…
The story was so delightful, but with a spicy undertone that flowed through the whole book. There were funny scenes, emotional moments, as well as some touching and tender sections. I would like to have had a little more in-depth story, have had more explanation of the ‘lore’, backstories etc. But, I still really enjoyed this read even without it being fully in-depth, it was still a really great read. I am looking forward to reading more from Ms. Ovalle in the future.

Legacy of Hunger is the first book in the Druid’s Brooch Series by Christy Nicholas. This is a historical fiction story that has adventure, drama, fantasy, romance, magic, friendship, and intrigue. I loved how the author wove the story around the actual potato famine that plagued Ireland in the 1800’s. The story a is really well written and polished piece of work that also appears to have been thoroughly researched, with meticulous attention to detail.
I loved watching Valentina develop and grow as the story unfolded, who we meet at the beginning of the book is entirely different from the person we’re following at the end. All the characters are really well developed and interesting- I enjoyed meeting all the secondary characters who really added to the whole story .
I felt that the story was a little slow to get going, and it took me a while to ‘get into it’- but once the pace picked up I found that I was pulled into the story more and started to really enjoy the journey.
An interesting Tale!

Legacy of Hunger: Druid’s Brooch Series: #1 by Christy Nicholas ​is a historical novel with a tiny dash of fantasy. I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t more of a magical element. Christy has set the scene well and you could see and feel the devastation of Ireland and it’s people in the midst of the potato famine in one of the most turbulent historical periods in time. Whilst I found the story interesting I felt it lacked something, what that something is for me, I am unsure, perhaps it was the lack of more, more celtic and fantasy elements? It could just be that I am not really a historical lover. Having said that it was well written and I truly felt for these people and what they went through. Christy is a good writer and I am sure there are many that will love this story.

Heart’s Prey by Natalina Reis is a dystopian fantasy story. This story will keep you intrigued and the pages turning. I loved the main characters and how even in the midst of the annihilation of the world as they know it they were able to adapt and find happiness. The storyline is different and kept you on your toes and you can picture their trials and tribulations because of Natalina’s writing. In a world that was full of discrimination and segregation and controlled with lies, now becomes one of a fight for their survival and putting that discrimination aside. I am interested to read what Natalina writes next.

Heart’s Prey is a great read from Natalina Reis. I have read a few of Ms. Reis’s books now and she never fails to deliver a story that captivates my attention from beginning to end. This book has a bit of a dystopian feel to it and is a little different from some of her other books I have read. Wonderfully original and beautifully written this Young Adults/New Adults book is a forbidden romance story that gives us an up close and personal look at castes/classes, prejudices, racism, genetic engineering, action, love, friendship, romance, drama, and more.
I enjoyed getting to know Jia and Cees- and following them through their story. They are endearing and well-developed characters who have complex personalities and complicated lives. They live in a world that was destroyed, where things they believed may not be true. Genetically engineered beasts now roam, and danger is an ever-present threat. They are determined to find somewhere safe where they can live. With secrets revealed, their survival at stake, danger around every corner, prejudices, battling long held traditions and beliefs- will they find everything they hope for?
This is quite and intriguing and thought-provoking story that I found to be an unexpected surprise. I don’t really know what I was expecting when I started, but I did know that Ms. Reis would tell great story, which she did- I just didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I have.

Well, I didn’t see that coming!

Beckoned Part 4: From Barcelona with Love by Aviva Vaughn, you must read this series in order and trust me you won’t be disappointed. If you want a series with a slow burn, long-distance relationship with a hint of a love triangle and Hot Sexy scenes than these books are for you. Aviva writing you will get you hooked in London and leave you wanting more in Barcelona.

Thru all four books, I have been rooting for Angela and Soren but now I am heartbroken and happy at the same time. I understand the reasoning behind it but, if she loved him that much where was the fight. The fact the Angela didn’t run straight to Kieran, made me happy and I am glad that Angela found someone that made her happy the way that was meant to be.

I am SO READY for Costa Rica, bring on more Soren!!

The Magic Within by Allison M. Boot is a fantasy fairy tale and sweet romance story that is so ​different from the norm. It has the feel like this is a children’s book of sorts. It is a charming tale that transcends generations of families and their love for each other and difficult times. It is also full of suspense and drama but there is also lots of adventure with trolls, dragons and magic abound. It was fun to read and there are lessons for anyone to learn in this story, if only they listen.

She is also a spiritual person who moves between that and being an agent but when a mission goes wrong she seeks out her spiritual master and decides to go on a pilgrimage to find a historical warrior artifact. This story is about a spiritual journey and what she finds on her way. The story is jammed packed and has a lot going on but is an interesting read.

Sacrificed is the third and final book in the Ariya Adams Trilogy by Anna Applegate- and what a fantastic way to conclude the trilogy. I blasted my way through the story in a matter of a few hours, it was just that good. This really is such a wonderful paranormal romance- with action, adventure, drama, suspense, mystery, danger, threats, secrets, twists, angst, a little push-pull, vampires, witches and werewolves. As this is the third book and has a continuing/bridging storyline, I strongly suggest reading the first two books before beginning this one. There is a lot of backstory, character information and other relevant details contained in those first two books which you would need to know to fully appreciate and enjoy this book.
This story picks up pretty much where the last book ended. Ariya, James, Caroline and Nick are still coming to terms with the events from the last book and are trying to figure out the best way to deal with Audrey- once and for all. They also have the problem of not really knowing who they can trust, apart from themselves. Their search takes them on a journey that delivers some of the answers they’re looking for, but also brings an unexpected development which Ariya will need to keep close to her chest until the right time. Ariya is willing to do whatever it takes to protect/save the ones she loves. But with danger at an all time high, and a clear and present threat edging ever closer- will she get her chance to set everything right again? To fulfill her purpose and save her loved ones? There are so many fantastic details and surprising development to this story, that you would be missing out on by not reading the story/series.
I have really enjoyed this series, each instalment just seemed to get better and better. This really was the perfect conclusion to the story. I wonder what Ms. Applegate has in store for us next? I can’t wait to find out!

Flower Shields is the first book in the Four Horsemen series by C.A King. I have read all of Ms. Kings books now, and this one is among my favourites of hers. I loved the premise of the story and enjoyed reading Ms. King’s take and twist on the four horsemen myth. This is a very creative and individual urban fantasy that has gods, demons, good vs evil, mystery, suspense, action, drama, and supernatural elements.
The characters are superb- fully developed, interesting and likeable- who grew and developed as the story progressed, Tara most of all.
This is a very imaginative, unique and well written story. The author has a very dynamic style, with detailed descriptions and rich, vibrant scene setting. Through her words we are transported into the story and experience it along with the characters. Ms. King has produced an entirely captivating read. I wasn’t sure whether I’d enjoy it as much as some of her other books, but I am happy to say that Ms. King definitely didn’t disappoint, and I loved how she crafted the story and brought all the various elements together, weaving them into a story that held my attention from beginning to end.
I really liked this story am very intrigued by the promise it holds for the rest of the series. I am really looking forward to reading the rest of this series. Bring on Book two!

Love Bites (Darkness & Light Duology Book 1) by TL Clark is a fun paranormal fantasy romance story and an intriguing read. TL has written well rounded characters and a paranormal world with a twist. There is never a dull moment as we get to know and understand the complexities of all the different beings and their ways of living. This story has a wonderful and unique mix of witches and faeries, sorcerers and dragons and a new species that make this an action packed exciting read. Add in a little fun banter and mates and you have everything to keep you entrenched in the story. ​The story ends on a cliffhanger but rest assured the next book is available for us to sink into straight away.

5 Stars!!!!!

I just love it when you find a new author! This is the first book by this author and I have to say I am in love! This is one of my absolute favorite genres. I found the writing to be quite refreshing. I found this book such an easy read the plot and story line just flowed.

Shakira and Pryderi make quite the couple. I found that the authors creative world to be very drawing, meaning I was instantly hooked from page one I wanted to see what adventure would pursue. I especially liked the way that the author drew out the back story for Shakira and how it will influence the story line. This book is one of my top ten recommended reads.

Murder Among Friends by Linda Burson. The story is full of mystery, suspense, drama, intrigue, twists, and also has a touch of romance. I have read many of Ms. Burson’s books now and have loved them all, so when I saw this pop up on my feed I knew I had to read it too. As expected from Ms. Burson, this story is really well written- with just the right amount of tension and suspense to get you turning the pages to find out what happens. And another thing that Ms. Burson is great at is coming up with intriguing plots, her imagination is limitless. She easily pulls you into the story and keeps you hooked right through to the end.
Camille Thurston works for a private investigator and feels a little burnt out, she really needs a break, so she decides to spend the summer with her brother and his family. But, when a woman goes missing and her brother begins to investigate, she decides that she needs to pitch in and put her investigative skills to work. She soon develops a relationship with the missing woman’s family… and the story only gets more interesting, and captivating from there.
The story has a great pace and is easy to read, it evolved beautifully and unexpectedly the further into the story I went. The character/s have also developed and grow along with the storyline.
I really don’t want to give away too much and spoil the story for you, I highly recommend reading it for yourself as you may be pleasantly surprised by what you find between the covers.

Love Bites is the first book in the Darkness & Light Duology by T.L Clark. This is such a gem of a find! A wonderful Fantasy/paranormal romance with so much going on in it- I couldn’t have read it any quicker, demolishing it all in a few hours because I HAD to find out all the spellbinding details. The author wove a superb tale that came to life under her creative touch. There are witches, faeries, sorcerers, Elinefae, magic, mystery, suspense, and so many more fascinating additions and details. This story is completely original from anything that I have read in this genre before. It has its own unique identity, which the author has lovingly crafted. I wasn’t sure of what to expect going in but I loved the cover and was intrigued by the blurb, so I took the plunge…. And I am SO happy that I did! This may be my first read from Ms. Clark- but it definitely won’t be the last. She has confirmed her place on my must-read authors list and I can’t wait to devour everything she will write/or has written. How excited was I to discover that she has also got quite a few other books to her name- which I will definitely be one-clicking, and devouring ASAP.
Shakira, Pryderi, Cerys, Lily and all the other wonderful characters really brought this story to life. They are wonderfully developed individuals with their own personalities, quirks and flaws. They led me on an incredible journey that I won’t soon forget. I love Kiera and Pryderi so much! I am blown away by all the unique touches that Ms. Clark gave her characters- it really made the story quite an exciting ride. Then, there is the matter of the exceptional world building skills that Ms. Clark demonstrates throughout this story. She brought everything to life, with fantastic descriptions and attention to details. Right down to having a world history, backstory, languages… and so many more unique features.
I have already jumped into the second book as I couldn’t wait to find out what would happen! I can’t recommend this book/duet highly enough, especially if you love fantasy/paranormal stories that are unique, enchanting and well written.

Cursed by Fire (Blood & Magic) book 1 by Danielle Annett is an Urban Fantasy Paranormal story that keeps you on your toes. Danielle has left her own stamp on a concept that is not new and has managed to give us a fresh spin on this paranormal world full of vampires, wolves and the like. This first book is a quick read but there is plenty that happens as the mystery and action, lies and deceit, intrigue and the unknown, along with a dash of romance sets a fine pace.

Our heroine is driven and believes and wants to do the right thing and that is solve the mystery behind murders but what she uncovers leaves her wondering how it could be.

I am eagerly awaiting the next book in the series to see where the story goes.

Cougarlicious is the story of Kim Doherty, who is the mother of an 11-year old Timmy, and Chance Carter, her son’s wrestling coach who is in twenties. I have read the other reviews where they call it a story of forbidden relationship but I think it is only forbidden when you look at it from a narrow moralistic point of view – they are both grownups and consensual and they are not hurting anyone or cheating on anyone … it is the society that looks down on them …
It is a beautiful journey of two people that pulls at your heartstrings and makes you to take stand and keep reading … I would have loved to have heard more ‘from’ Chance as that would have given his characters more depth and layers but at the same time, the writer has taken on a challenge in itself with the topic. I will be on a lookout for more of her writing!

Shifting Ground: A Short Story Collection by Alice Rachel is a collection of short stories about the characters in her Underground series. Each of the stories are connected in one way or another. I love this because we get to see each character on their own and then they pop back up later in one of the other books. Each of the characters have a struggle of some type that makes them unacceptable to the public. The setting with these characters are such that there is a division of poor and rich. They are all connectable and take me on an emotional roller coaster ride that make me laugh and sometimes make me feel compassion for them. This is a must read book and I would suggest reading the previous books in this series. I highly recommend this book. Find out what happens to each of these 12 characters.

This book!! This Author!! I don’t know why it has taken me so long to find this author and her books…Every one of them that I’ve read have been so fantastic, but I have to say at this point..This is my favorite so far! I can’t even begin to explain how real this story is and I’ll just say there were a few times I got a little worried about which way it was going to go, and I can also honestly say I wasn’t sure for a little while how I wanted it all to go.

Not even going to go into the story because it needs to be read without knowing what is going on, I only glanced at the synopsis before reading and had already decided to read it no matter what..The cover is absolutely eye catching and even without that, this author has become an absolute favorite and an immediate one click for me!

I will say about the story that she has made me fall in love with Rome…I’ve always thought about going but now it has been added to my bucket list, and I can only hope if I ever do make it there that just maybe I’ll find Helen’s Lady Gaga…That part of the story was awesome!

In a lot of ways this story touched me personally and I’m so impressed at how perfectly she conveyed the many feelings involved. It didn’t end the way I thought it would at one point, but it ended exactly how I hoped. I read the end with many tears in my eyes, I felt like a tray of ice cream melting in the rain….

Worth the Risk by Izzibella Beau is a young adult romance, but is a story that can be read by all die hard romance lovers. Izzibella’s writing of the main characters made them relatable and the depth of them make for a good story. This book was a bit of a rollercoaster ride but enjoyable. There were characters that I to punch and others I wanted to wrap my arms around. Unfortunately society is still very much stuck in the us and them, rich and poor, which is very much a focus of this story.

From two completely different worlds and overcoming insurmountable odds will they take a leap of faith to be together? The struggles of this unlikely couple and the determination they had to overcome everything that was against them, made watching their young love all the better.

If you are looking for a good romance story, then this is one that you need to add to your list of books to read.

Sacrificed is the final installment of the Ariya Adams Trilogy Join Ariya, James, Nick, Caroline and Riley as they conclude their journey together through the toughest trials they’ve yet to face. The characters are well written and the way they play off each other you would think they are real. The plot was great and the writing was easy to follow.
Ariya Adams has a powerful ability that has protected those she loves from every danger they’ve faced. With Audrey, a powerful and malicious being on the loose and determined to overrun the supernatural world, Ariya and her friends are on a mission of vital importance they must find a weapon that can destroy the most dangerous evil the Protectors have ever encountered. The problem is, they have no idea who they can trust.
But, that’s not the only complication though. Ariya has a life-changing secret and must carry out her own mission without her Protectors finding out especially James, who is already watching her every move.
With Audrey closing in, there’s no time to question the magnitude of the sacrifice she’ll have to make to save her friends. Will she save them in time? Can they finally accomplish what must be done and stop Audrey? Or will she succeed in destroying everything Ariya holds dear once and for all?
Even though Ms. Applegate said this was the final installment I thought the story ended in a cliffhanger. This was a great Trilogy and I highly recommend it.
