Bad Man on Campus (Big Men on Campus #3)Bad Man on Campus by Stephanie Queen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Bad Man on Campus by Stephanie Queen is book three of the Big Men on Campus Series. This book is a second chance college romance and can be read as a stand alone.this book pulled me in from the beginning!

Glory has been the social outcast in town for years due to an accident. When she finds out Kace is home from St. Paul University she just has to see him. She doesn’t expect to get a second chance as easily as she did but knows there’s a lot to work through for the two of them. Kace has developed a reputation and a bit of a player, keeping everyone at arms length. Glory seems to have an alcohol addiction. Both have many things to work through in order for their second chance to work.

This book was an emotional roller coaster. You really feel for both Glory and Kace and the trauma they’ve been dealt. I know I was on the edge of my seat hoping everything would work out for them individually and together.

Casey is Setter’s opposite in just about every way. She loves spending her time in the library while Setter is all about football and partying, or so it seems on the surface. Casey meets Setter as he’s running from police helping his friends get away after a prank. Casey couldn’t be more annoyed especially since they get paired as lab partners in biology. Setter very much lives in the now and is starting to feel unsettled about his future. Is Casey the key?

I enjoyed this book! I couldn’t put it down! The back and forth between Casey and Setter was entertaining. I definitely recommend!

Avenging Devil Part 1: Satan's Devils MC San DiegoAvenging Devil Part 1: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Avenging Devil Part 1 by Manda Mellett is book three of Satan’s Devils MC San Diego. To get the full experience, the books should be read in order but this book can be read without books one and two. This book does end on a cliffhanger but totally worth it!

Saffie strength knows no bounds. Even when it seems like she’s broken beyond repair, she keeps going. Niran feel an indescribable pull to protect her. They forge a friendship even though Saffie is rightfully wary of people. Saffie finding out Niran is part of the MC scares her but she soon realizes that she’d much rather face her past with Niran by her side. Saffie thinks she may finally be in a good place in life but the twists keep coming.

I this this book may have been my favorite out of all the Satan’s devils books. The subject matter was difficult but the book was so well written. Saffie is so strong and Niran is such a good guy! I can’t wait for the next book!

After finding the flyer, of course Molly has to keep digging and the weirdness doesn’t end there. Where does Molly go from here? I don’t want to spoil too much of the book.

Competing with the Star (Star Series Book 2) by Krysten Lindsay Hager – Review by Angelina Frazzini

Competing with the StarCompeting with the Star by Krysten Lindsay Hager
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Competing with the Star by Krysten Lindsay Hager is book two of The Star Series. You should read book one before reading this one to get a good background on the characters and how they got to where they are in book two.

This book has the drama! Hadley and Nick are together after all the drama in book one and have a real bond. Things start spiraling out of control when Hadley realizes Nick had a crush on her friend. Insecurity sets in and threatens to ruin everything. Will Hadley be able to trust Nick?

This book would definitely be suitable for young teenagers. It was well written and the characters are great. Insecurity in young girls is very relatable. I think Hadley didn’t give Nick enough credit but I can see where it would be difficult too. I enjoyed the book!

Moonlit Kiss (A Venice Romance) (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley – Review by Angelina Frazzini

Moonlit Kiss (A Venice Romance)Moonlit Kiss by Amy McKinley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Moonlit Kiss by Amy McKinley is part of the Moonlit Destination series. This book can be read as a standalone.

I don’t want to describe the book too much and give it away so I won’t say much. Gianna lands her dream job that lands her in Venice. It’s everything she thought it would be. The more time she spends there though, something feels off. In the meantime she meets Sergio and their relationship starts to grow. Not everything is always as it seems.

As with other Amy McKinley books there’s a bit of suspense in this one. I couldn’t put it down and had to find out more. Gianna and Sergio are great characters. The book was so well written I almost felt like I was in Venice myself. I definitely recommend!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Secure Decision by R.L. Dunn is book five of the Chase Security series. This book can be read as a standalone. I haven’t read any other books in the series yet but didn’t lose any of the experience. This book was so good that I am going to go back to the beginning and read them all!

The last thing he expects to find himself doing is leading an investigation on missing women. He’s still reeling after everything else, he’s not sure he can handle everything now. Sleeping Angel (Soul Connection Book 2) by Nikki Lynn Barrett – Review by Angelina Frazzini

Sleeping Angel (Soul Connection, #2)Sleeping Angel by Nikki Lynn Barrett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Sleeping Angel by Nikki Lynn Barrett is book two of the Soul Connection Series. I wasn’t sure if I was going to get into this book as it’s a little more paranormal than I usually go for but I was pleasantly surprised!

Logan lost his little sister Andi and everything has seems to spiral out of control for him from there. His guilt and his hate for Angel eat him up. If only he could have saved her. Angel knows about Logan’s hate for her. She feels enough self inflicted guilt she can’t really blame him for his anger. The night of Angel’s birthday everything changes. Will Angel and Logan be able to move passed all their pain?

I couldn’t put this book down! I had to keep reading to find out what was going to happen next. The suspense was intense. I was really rooting for Angel and Logan. I could relate to Logan’s pain even though I thought he was punishing Angel a little too harshly. I really enjoyed this book even though I was hesitant about it at first.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Love Unexpected by Marina Hanna is a contemporary romance that pulls you right in. This book was a pretty quick read but didn’t skimp on anything. This is a new to me author and I really enjoyed this book!

Adam doesn’t do relationships but Jules has him feeling things he never expected. Much like he didn’t expect that the mysterious woman he kissed is one of the new recruits at his company. There are strict rules against fraternization but Adam will bend the rules when it comes to Jules.

Jules just wants a chance to prove herself. She can’t do that at her current job so when she hears about the opening at Foster Advertising she takes the chance. She has no idea that handsome stranger she meets the night before will end up being her new boss!

The story pulls you in all the way to the end. You can’t wait to find out what happens next. The characters are very well written as well. I really enjoyed this book!

Scorching Hit Mess by Brooke May is an entertaining rom com you don’t want to miss. This wasn’t the first book I’ve read by this author but definitely tops my list of favorites from her.

Willow just wants what her brother and her best friend have but in order to have that, she has to get through some duds first. This is the story about how Willow found her match.

This book was so entertaining to read. Willow has quite the disastrous dating life but Brenda won’t let her give up. The characters are so relatable as is Willow’s dating experience. I couldn’t put this book down once I started. I wanted to tell that everything Willow was looking for was right in front of her but honestly her journey was worth the read!

Throttle never imagine his one night stands coming back to bite him especially since he’s up front with them but once Gwen is in the picture that’s exactly what happens. Strings Attached by Loriana Cappello is a rockstar, second chance romance. This is the first book I’ve read by this author but I really enjoyed it!

Calla and Ash have history and now they are back in each other’s lives. Neither of them can guarantee anything and maybe if they don’t make any promises, no one gets hurt. Calla and Ash want different things but Will Ash convince Calla to take a chance?

Can Dreams Come True by Krysten Lindsay Hager is book one of The Cecily Taylor series. This is the first book I’ve read from this author and I wasn’t disappointed. This book is a YA coming of age story.

Cecily’s story was sweet but was definitely filled with just enough drama and angst to keep you intrigued. The book is so well written that you can feel the emotions as though they are yours. Cecily is so relatable to really any age. She just longs to feel accepted, as I think many of us do. I wasn’t sure what to expect going on to this book but I’m glad I read it! I can’t wait to see what book two has in store!

Best Of My Love (Love in Emerald Creek) by N.D. Jackson – Review by Angelina Frazzini

Best of my LoveBest of my Love by N.D. Jackson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Best of my Love (Love in Emerald Creek) by N.D. Jackson is a second chance romance.

Dre has no intention of ever returning to Emerald Creek. She’s made that clear by staying away for so long. There’s nothing there for her except her best friend Shayna and her kids, which is precisely what brings Dre back. Erick made a massive mistake and lost the love of his life. Seeing her back in Emerald is hard knowing he was what drove her away in the first place. Will Dre being back in Emerald Creek for the summer dredge up old memories or have they lost any chance they ever had?

I enjoyed the book it was a great read. I didn’t enjoy Erick so much. He spent a lot of time acknowledging and maybe even feeling bad for the pain he inflicted but those first few interactions he had with Dre lacked any kind of asking for forgiveness. She would have shot him down, that’s Dre’s personality but I feel like Erick continued to make mistakes that he should have learned from. I loved Dre’s character. She’s no nonsense. She tells it like it is. She is herself unapologetically no matter how many people try to make her bend. I definitely recommend!

8 Second Ride8 Second Ride by Shannon Nemechek
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

8 Second Ride by Shannon Nemechek is a quick read but doesn’t feel like it in the sense that it has everything you want! This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I was not disappointed.

Tuck and Jessie are not what you’d call friends. Jess is quite spoiled and Tuck has a hard time dealing with her. Imagine his surprise when she invites herself to Las Vegas where he is trying to win the title he so desperately wants. Tuck set out to follow in his dad’s footsteps and this buckle is part of that plan. Dealing with Jessie, not so much.

Jessie was not my favorite person. After she explained herself, I understood but it took a bit to get over. Tuck, as much as he tried to keep his cool in respect for her father, he gave it back to her. The characters were relatable. They were real. I really enjoyed reading their story!

Climbing The Walls (Hart & Cole Book 1)Climbing The Walls by Sacha T.Y. Fortuné
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Climbing the Walls by Sacha T. Y. Fortune is book one of the Hart and Cole series.

Kris fell in love with Nicole and he still feels that way. He’s proud of how hard she works he just wishes she put that much effort into their family. Nicole wants to be worth of Kris. She’s not sure how she managed to get him to fall for her but she wants to make sure it stays that way but it’s hard not to go running when her boss needs her. She realizes she has room to improve as a mother and she wants to do what she can to be better. Can she keep her family together before it’s too late?

This book highlights very well that marriage isn’t always sunshine and rainbows. It’s a partnership but it’s not always equal. The story was good and I found myself wanting to know what was going to happen but it felt a bit dragged out. It was very detailed but I think at times a little too detailed. I can’t wait to see how the story continues in the next book.

Learning to Live: An Enemy to Lovers Ugly Cry (The Infinite Love Series, Book 1)Learning to Live: An Enemy to Lovers Ugly Cry by Kira Adams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Learning to Live by Kira Adams is book one of the Infinite Love series.

I could not get enough of this book! I read it in one sitting and definitely wasn’t expecting it to turn out the way it did. I couldn’t stop reading until I knew what was going to happen! Ciera is just trying to make it through each day. She has to deal with bullies and mean pranks but she just had to get through the days. Topher is accustomed to living life a certain way. He didn’t really care too much about anyone other than himself. All it took was one look at Ciera after a little shopping trip with Madalynne and Topher is intrigued. Ciera took everything Topher thought and flipped it on its head. Ciera thought for sure she’d have to rely on herself to make it through her senior year. She had no idea she really needed Topher.

This book had so many emotions. I found myself in tears more than once! So heart breaking but there were some cute moments between Topher and Ciera. He turned out better than I had expected. His character definitely grows on you. I can’t wait to read more!
