Say When (A Cedarville Novel Book 9)Say When by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really enjoy my visits to Cedarville. Now, don’t worry too much if you haven’t read all of the previous Cedarville novels from Bree Kraemer before this one. I would really only be concerned that you read “After All These Years” which is book #7. That is where we first get to meet the main characters of “Say When”. All of Kraemer’s Cedarville’s novels are fantastic though. I truly love the cast of characters. They all vary and are like old friends that we get to visit from time to time. I would have to say this one happens to be one of my favorites though and comes as a nice and sweet heartwarming read that I just couldn’t put down until I had devoured all of it in one sitting.

Like I said we have met Dani before in the seventh book, “After All These Years.” There we found out all about her shyness. It really inhibits her ability to live out in the open or find love. But it doesn’t affect her gift of baking. She makes some delicious treats and finds herself making the deserts that are served at the restaurant that Wes runs and opens in the book.

Patrick was hired as the chef of Wes’s restaurant. He himself is a quiet guy. His passion for cooking is sort of similar to Dani’s love of baking. Patrick has also fallen in love with the cupcakes that he has been consuming at the restaurant. He just wishes he knew who made them. One day fate gives him the opportunity to find out just who that it. He is blown away by how sexy and stunning she is. He is even more shocked to learn she is the same shy and introverted girl that he used to know as his sister’s best friend, just all grown up.

What will happen when they both discover that the attractions are mutual? Can Dani overcome her shyness just enough to let herself feel love? Will these two mix up more than just a good dish or treat?
I loved this installment, and I personally can’t wait to find out what will come next for the little town of Cedarville. Thanks for another great read Bree Kraemer!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Say When by Bree Kramer is the 9th book in the Cedarville Series. This story can absolutely be read as a standalone, but you will want to go back and read about the other friends also.

Cedarville is one of those communities that everyone knows someone so essentially everyone knows everyone else. Reading each book in the series is like connecting with old friends.

“Say When” is a quick romance that is easy to read, moves very quickly in time and events, and I was happy for all involved.

I recommend this entire series.

Say When (A Cedarville Novel Book 9)Say When by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Say When is the ninth novel in the Cedarville series by Bree Kraemer. This is my seventh novel by this author.

Dani is a baker who has an issue with talking to guys who age. She starts to mumble and run away. She also delivers cupcakes and pies early in the morning to Wes’ restaurant. She dreams of owning her own bakery.

Patrick is the brother of her best friend from high school and the two meet again years later at the restaurant. Patrick realizes the cupcakes he has been eating for years are made by Dani.

To overcome her fear and anxiety, Patrick offers to help her by just being her friend and helping her get comfortable with just conversation. Over time he find himself falling for her and worries that he isn’t good enough for her.

Dani feels an attraction to Patrick but doesn’t want to mess up the friendship they have and keeps telling herself they are just friends

Another installment of an amazing series that I can’t get enough of.

I really liked Dani and related to her cause I just became that way myself. Not because of any bad experience just started to isolate myself and developed anxiety talking to people over time. So I understood her anxiety when it came to talking to guys. I loved the decision where she made the decision to change herself because she wanted to normal and be able to talk in a social setting.

Patrick I liked and felt he could admit when he was wrong and apologize to make things right.

I really hope we get book with Sabrina. I would love to see who she falls in with and how she interacts with them.

Say When (A Cedarville Novel Book 9)Say When by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Say When is the ninth (yes, ninth!) instalment of the truly wonderful Cedarville series. One again, we are transported to the beautiful lakeside setting which has become so familiar to fans of this series. This instalment does not disappoint, as were introduced to a new couple that immediately grabbed my heart. This is one read not to be missed!

I have to start this review by admitting that I am a superfan of this series. I absolutely love the world that the author has created and it holds a very dear place in my heart. So as soon as a new book is released, I am immediately anticipating finding the time to sit and really enjoy it. Cue a nice cup of team, some chocolate cookies and a cosy blanket; time to read!

Say When had me hooked after the very first page. Immediately jumping into the wonderful world of baking had my mouth-watering; luckily I had the cookies! Dani is such an endearing character and I felt myself warming to her straight away. I love her innocence, which I think makes her such a strong character and so interesting to read. She has a lot of fears and learning about these over the course of the story allowed us to see why her and Patrick have such an intense connection. As for Patrick… what a cutie! He is such an equally interesting character who I couldn’t wait to find out more about. We learn about him more slowly than Dani, with the main focus of the story being her getting over her fears, but that just makes him so much more intriguing; who doesn’t love a mysterious man?! Seeing them together is so much fun and, let’s be honest, super hot. There are some steamy moments in this book, which are sure to get you feeling a little hot. All I’ll say is, lucky Dani!

I don’t think I will ever stop loving this series or this author’s work. Every single book in this series is beautifully written, packed with wonderful characters and has an intriguing and exciting plot. Ultimately, this series is about love and the connection that develops between two people, and Say When perfectly portrays this. If you haven’t already, I cannot encourage you enough to start reading this series. By the time you get to Dani and Patrick’s story, you’ll be as hooked as I am!

Say When by Bree Kraemer a five-star read that will melt your heart. This is the ninth book in the Cedarville Novels and each book invites you into a group of people that you feel such a bond with you miss them between stories. This time it’s the turn of Dani and Patrick, people who have played a small part in the groups before but are now being pulled fully into the fold. Dani was a complex and compelling character, I kept wondering why she wasn’t able to speak to men, why she felt she couldn’t be a fully productive member of society and the author did a great job of showing us why and helping us like she helps Dani. Patrick and his obsession with cupcakes still make me smile and blush a little when I think of frosting. Those cupcakes were so well written about you could almost taste the cupcakes on your tongue. Overall a very nicely don’t visit to Cedarville, I cant wait to go back and visit again.

Say When (A Cedarville Novel Book 9)Say When by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Say When by Bree Kraemer is book nine of the Cedarville series. I highly suggest reading the series in order. Not only because the series is great and one of my absolute favorites but all the characters from previous books show up and reading the books in order gives you some background info.

We are welcomed back to Cedarville for Dani’s story and boy is it sweet. Dani is downright scared to talk to men outside of a work/school setting. It’s mainly single men she has a problem being around. Color her shocked when she runs into an old crush while dropping cupcakes and pies off for Wes. At first she can’t find her footing but after another encounter, she finds herself really comfortable around Patrick. While her feelings for Patrick bubble to the surface again, she’s sure Patrick doesn’t feel the same way.

Patrick knows Dani needs a friend to help her work through her fear. He can’t help how he feels about her. Patrick’s got his own issues regarding whether or not he and Dani could have a relationship. Will these two work through their issues or are the destined to be friends?

I absolutely love this series and this book is no exception. I love my visits to Cedarville. I feel like the town is part of my home now. I strongly encourage you to read this book and the whole Cedarville series.

Jumping into a book mid-series is always tricky. Although most books can be read as stand-alone you always get a sense that you’re missing something by not reading the other books in the series. This is not the case with Say When by Bree Kraemer. Ms. Kraemer does such a fabulous job painting the town of Cedarville and re/introducing her characters that you feel like you missed nothing. And the wonderful story of Dani & Patrick was just the icing on the cake!

Dani has always been shy and introverted. Her only outlet has been her baking. But Dani has dreams to one day open her own bakery. The only thing holding her back is her fear. Her best friend’s older brother Patrick thinks he can help Dani finally attain her dream.

Patrick loves getting the baked treats at Dockside. They are the best part of his day. He finally gets to meet the person behind the deliciousness and realizes that she happens to be his little sister’s best friend. Patrick soon realizes that Dani is just as sweet as her creations but something is holding her back. Can he entice Dani out of her shell and help her realize that life can be just as sweet?

This book was so charmingly sweet. The town, the people, the atmosphere were great. Ms. Kraemer painted such a vivid picture of her world, that I would have asked my husband if we could go visit! The story was well paced and flowed very nicely. I truly enjoyed this book so much that I am now going back and reading from the beginning! I can’t wait to get to Dani & Patrick’s story again but I am looking forward to meeting everyone else along the way!!

Say When Is the ninth book in the Cedarville novel series by Bree Kraemer. Even though it is the ninth book in the series, it can be read as a standalone without feeling like you are missing vital information or leaving you confused. I love the fact that each book in the Cedarville ‘family’ focuses on a particular couple- but there are recurring characters, who we have met previously, who make appearances, which really gives this book a charming quality. I really enjoy Ms. Kraemer’s writing- she always weaves a wonderful story that entices me in and keeps hold of me right through to the end. This series just seems to get better with each new instalment, not losing momentum or appeal. The characters are so well crafted that they bring the whole story to life. This is definitely one of my favourites of the series, and I really wanted to hang out with them and eat cupcakes ?.
Dani, who we have met previously, as she bakes the desserts for Wes’s restaurant “Dockside” (After All These Years- Book #7) is so quiet, introverted and chronically shy that it has held her back from truly living and following her dreams. This fear has almost taken over her life, and Dani will have to learn to face her fears and overcome them in order to have a ‘real’ life. She’s passionate about baking and always has been- she’s an extremely talented baker who creates incredibly delicious morsels. The very same morsels that a certain chef at “Dockside” can’t seem to get enough of, devouring the tasty sweets daily. What happens when he finally meets the shy baker? Find out in this super sweet story….

Thank you, Ms. Kraemer!

Bree Kraemer’s Say When is the ninth book in the Cedarville series. This contemporary romance continues the amazing series the author has created. Say When is Dani and Patrick’s story, certainly one of my favorites that I have read. The sweet factory of this story cannot be denied, especially when there is a bakery involved. Change is a theme in this story which features old and new characters. How these characters interact was fun to read, even how they struggle to find their footings and grow at times. Even though there are limited pages in this story, it was a pleasurable read and a great addition to the series.

This author writes some of the sweetest books I have ever had the pleasure of reading. The characters have great personalities and they have a great set of friends. Dani is me growing up. I was super shy but came out of it as I got into high school. It still hits me at moments but I always push it away. It’s crazy how she remained so sweet. Patrick is the perfect guy for her. They went so well together. I cracked up about how they went on and on about wanting each other but never seeing if the other person felt the same way. I have enjoyed every boom in this series. The author doesn’t disappoint with this one either. The writing is smooth and straight to the point. The characters give you something to relate to. Let’s hope that Sabrina is next I can’t wait to watch her fall.

Who wouldn’t want to live in Cedarville? I know I definitely would! The author has truly created a wonderful place where some of the most amazing characters live and their stories take place! I know that every time I pick up a book from this series I am in for a good and usually heart-warming read. Say When is book 9 in the series but can easily be read as a standalone.
I loved Dani and Patrick’s story! I will admit I found myself frustrated with them at times however the more I read the more I realised that actually it is just the way these characters were. Dani is shy especially around men so communicating with them isn’t going to be easy for her and Patrick was trying to not to push her too far. There were some miscommunications between the two and I was rooting for them so much throughout the story. I thought that Patrick was perfect for Dani!
I love the way this author manages to completely captivate me by her writing, I am always completely invested in her characters stories and they are always believable and relatable.
As always I am very much looking forward to more from Bree Kramer in the future and I definitely recommend Say When and the rest of the books in the Cedarville series!

Say When (A Cedarville Novel Book 9)
By Bree Kraemer
Rated 5 stars

This is a sweet (play on words) story. The book is good. The characters have growth and are fun to read. Dani is a baker who is funny, smart, curvy and afraid to talk to men. She doesn’t have friends as she only bakes and works her nine to five job. I think her life might be changing.
Patrick is a chef at Dockside. He is adorable and sexy. He has one vice and that’s the cupcakes delivered to the restaurant every morning. Patrick’s love of her cupcakes is outrageous! I agree with Dani…he might need to join a gym if he doesn’t restrict himself.

This series has a large cast. It’s nice to touch base with them when a new book is released. Sabrina who we saw in the last couple books is a bartender with a no nonsense attitude. I can’t wait to see if she will get her story. It should be fun to read.

This is a good series. Nothing much happened here just a good old romantic story full of sweetness….in more ways than one. Well let me rephrase..there is a lot of relationship problems discussed from jealousy to being afraid to “be honest” with your significant other. Great advice was given throughout the book to all parties.

The story Say When (A Cedarville Novel Book 9) by Bree Kraemer is a contemporary romance book. It is a story that had my attention from the very beginning and that I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished the final page. It is a wonderful story that I loved reading. I loved reading about that characters of Dani and Patrick. Dani is a woman who loves to bake. Her goal in life is the run her own bakery and she is working to save money in order to make her dream come true. She also is a woman who has a fear that can be overwhelming at times. Patrick is a man that loves the cupcakes that Dani brings in to where he works. He has no qualms about eating them instead of selling them to customers. When he finds out about Dani’s fear he takes it upon himself to offer her his assistance. That these two find each other attractive is undeniable. They can’t stop thinking about each other however they are not vocalizing the way they feel about each other to each other. Will Patrick be able to help Dani conquer her fear? Will these two finally tell each other the way they truly feel about each other? The chemistry is there and those around them can see they are in love. Will these two find happiness and an HEA? Read this book to find out. When reading about Dani and her cupcakes Patrick makes them sound so good I wanted to try them. I love that Dani is someone who is working towards the dream she has and is willing to take a chance to make it come true. She is gorgeous, funny, and smart. I also loved how Patrick is a caring and compassionate man to help Dani. Both Patrick and Dani are characters that I grew to love with each chapter that I read. This is another amazing story in a series that I have loved since reading the first book. I like that some of the other characters are brought forward in each book and that you get to find out what they are up to. You feel like they are friends you are checking in with. This story is wonderfully written and one I would highly recommend reading.

Cedarville is one of my favorite places to visit, even if only for a short time while I’m reading..Another home run from this author who has already placed herself firmly on my favorite authors list.

This one was sweet, and although our main characters drove me insane with their lack of communication and just assuming they knew what the other was thinking, I still completely enjoyed every word in this story.

This story dealt with insecurities that a person just has naturally and it was nice for a change to not have some life altering secret floating around that caused this insecurity, and it was nice as well that while getting through this insecurity a person finds out just how strong they really are. I loved Dani, even though at times I had to remind myself how old she was because in many places she seemed much younger, I still absolutely loved who she became and how she got there in this story. Then there was Patrick…sigh…there’s not a lot I can say about him except that I fell in love with him immediately.

For such a short story it never felt rushed and was a perfect addition to the Cedarville novels…I’ve said it before and will say it again…when this series is complete I will be lining them all up on my kindle on a cold ugly weekend and reading them one right after the other.

Loved It!!

I enjoyed how in this book we get to see what Dani’s story is, we got to meet her in one of the previous books. She is a woman who is afraid of men and loves to bake. She meets Patrick when she is dropping off cupcakes at his place of work. She has many insecurities which I felt for her but she is still a strong character. Will Patrick be able to teach her to trust men especially him? I highly recommend this book to find out if there is a happy ending in their future.

Won’t let you down by Bree Kraemer a five-star read that won’t let you down. This is the eighth book in the Cedarville series they can be read as stand-alone, but I have loved the series and would recommend you read them as such as you will want to go back and read them all. This author has a magical way with words that will transport you from wet and windy Wales to small town America sat at the bar in Dockside having a drink with bunch of strangers who make you feel like family. I will be honest, and Joy wasn’t my favourite character when I first saw her in this series, but seeing her story develop and finding out what made her the woman she is now. It made me realise that she is a much stronger woman than she gives herself credit for and I can’t wait to see her pop up in the future books. The one thing I loved is how you see other characters, old and new pop up and all I can think of is who’s next? Whose story will we find next? I cant wait.

Won’t Let You Down is the eighth book in the Cedarville Novel Series by Bree Kraemer. This series seems to get better with each new instalment, and that’s saying something, especially since I was convinced that I wouldn’t like this book, because I didn’t think I liked Joy. Well, I was wrong- I should never have doubted Ms. Kraemer! This story is even better than I could have imagined. There was so much more to the character/s than I thought I knew. This is my favourite of the series so far- a story full of loss, heartache, new beginnings, changes, second chances, love, romance, emotion…. and spice!
Even though it is the eighth book in the series, it can be read as a standalone without feeling like you are missing vital information or getting confused. The story has an identity, energy, feel and flavour all its own- but still fits well with the rest of the books in the series. I love the fact that each book in the Cedarville family focuses on a particular couple- but there are recurring characters, who may have their own book, and who we have met previously, who make appearances though each book, allowing us to catch up with them, as well as enjoying the main ‘event’.
I thought I ‘knew’ Joy, and she hadn’t impressed me at all…. But as I followed along I soon realised that I didn’t really know her as well as I thought I did. I got a new perspective and ended up loving her, especially since she and Flynn were so perfect together! Flynn is just such a good guy, sexy, sweet, patient, and very understanding. He knew what he wanted and wasn’t going to settle for anything else, determined to prove that he wouldn’t let her down!
Can’t wait for more of Cedarville!

Thank you, Ms. Kraemer!

Won’t Let You Down, by Bree Kraemer, is the eighth book in the Cedarville Novel series. This contemporary romance is the story of Joy and Flynn, how their lives overlap and how they each feel about the other. This series is well written and this latest novel is no exception. I really like how the author carries over the characters from previous stories into the others, it creates a full world that is all connected in these unique ways. The dual POV within this story was perfectly written and I loved knowing and learning what each of the main characters were thinking as they interacted with others and each other. This story was full of laughs and the banter was beyond perfect. Joy is certainly one of my favorite heroine characters in regards to her quick comebacks and feedback.

Won’t Let You Down ( A Cedarville Novel Book 8)
By Bree Kraemer
Rated 5 stars!

I was very excited to read this! I love all the previous books and knew I would be stepping back into a favorite place. I wasn’t disappointed. I really want to move to Cedarville. The place of the super hot men and sassy women.

Joy and Flynn’s first meeting wasn’t fantastic but it became memorable to them in different ways. Later Joy doesn’t remember him and and he wants her to remember on her own so he won’t tell her. So even though they both feel this connection. They are not sure how to move forward. So she avoids him and says as little as possible since she is afraid he was a one-nighter. Moving forward when that explanation comes out…prepare yourself for a super ride.

Hot lumberjack bearded Flynn! Haha I laugh when the girls call him that! I love that for Flynn. Gives me a picture in my head of what he looks like! Other than those intense eyes and his determination to get Joy. How thrilled Flynn was when Joy finally said his name! I thought “Wow this guys a goner for sure!” Though I was happy as well. I mean who gets that excited over someone saying your name?? Its because thoughts and comments like these, I was so happy to be inside Flynn’s head. I really enjoyed his thoughts, ideas and of time with his friends.

These two!! I love them together! Their conversations together are so cute! I literally sit with a smile on my face while reading. A favorite couple among this group for me. When together with their friends. It was fun to see all the teasing and good natured bickering between all of them. That really helps bring the past around and the story move forward.

Addison, Leah, Carly and Melanie have all had their stories told and have gotten their happily ever after. While they were a few books ago I still feel this author is consistent in her storytelling. I still get giddy, laugh and and sit smiling while reading this book as I did when reading the earlier ones. I’m glad this author still can keep me interested and waiting for more from these lovely characters.

Although this is book 8 in the series it can be read as a stand alone. For much much more enjoyment you should read them from the first Cedarville story.

Won’t Let You Down by Bree Kraemer is A Cedarville Novel book eight. This book can be read as a stand alone but all the characters from previous books make appearances. I suggest reading the books in order to get the full effect of the novels. This book is Joy and Flynn’s story.

Joy is new in Cedarville trying to start over. She tends to keep to herself and not take many risks, especially love. Joy keeps convincing herself that Flynn is not for her but she can’t figure out why he looks at her that way.

Flynn hopes that Joy will see him. He’s been trying for months and can’t figure out why she ignores him. He’s tired of being alone and totally ready to settle down and he wants that with Joy.

Will Joy be able to set her past aside and see what Flynn is offering?

I absolutely love everything about this series and this book only proved it further. The growth you get to witness from Joy is really great! I love this book as much as I’ve loved every book in this series so far!!

Won’t Let You Down (A Cedarville Novel #8) by Bree Kraemer – Review by Liz Vrchota

Won't Let You Down (A Cedarville Novel Book 8)Won’t Let You Down by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Won’t Let You Down is the 8th book in the Cedarville series from Bree Kraemer. It is a sweet contemporary romance that promises to make you fall in love with Cedarville and the people that live there. Each book is focused on a different couple so they can be read as standalone novels, or out of order. I would recommend that you read them all and in order though for a better enjoyment of the books. You really feel like you are visiting Cedarville each time you dive into a new couple’s story, and that is built by reading the entire series. Besides that, each book is an amazing read.

This book is centered on the story of Joy and Flynn. I really enjoyed these two. They are relevant and relatable for most of us that are trudging through life with a secret passion for a person we don’t feel we deserve or should be. Joy has serious trust issues. She finds things are easier when she keeps thing strictly physical and emotionless, most often resorting to one-night-stands and the ease of the one-time encounter. However, Flynn changes things for her when she starts to feel for him on a deeper level than just physically. Flynn is honestly the perfect guy to bring her out of her shell. He is patient and kind, aware of her worries and hesitations. He takes his time and gets to know the real her. Will it be enough though? Can he get her to see that they could have something great together if they just give it a chance? He knows that he ‘won’t let her down’ but can she ever believe it?

The gambit of emotions are felt while reading these two’s story. I found myself on the brink of tears, cheering for them when they were slightly starting to get somewhere, being angry when things were rocky, and blushing in heat at some of the hot steamy scenes that are well written. Overall, this was another great five star installment in the Cedarville series. I can’t wait to see what will come next in this idyllic little town I want so badly to visit.

After All These Years (A Cedarville Novel Book 7)After All These Years by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

After all These Years is the seventh book in the Cedarville Novel Series by Bree Kraemer.
We meet Julia and Wes, who have a shared history. But situations occurred that drove them apart. Now, after more than a decade they both are back in Cedarville. With unfinished business- one is looking for some closure. What happens now they’re both back on home turf? Will the sparks they once shared be reignited? Or will the unfinished business of what happened all those years ago drive a deeper wedge between them, and close the door on ‘them’ once and for all?
This book is well written, with wonderful characters, who are complex, likeable and interesting. The story line is intense, emotional, and intense in places. It flows well and is a quick and easy read. There are quite a few sizzling moments- but overall, it is a superb romance that really stirred up my emotions.

Thank you, Ms. Kraemer!

After All These Years (A Cedarville Novel Book 7) by Bree Kraemer – Review by Jana Teppih

After All These Years (A Cedarville Novel Book 7)After All These Years by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

After All These Years by Bree Kraemer is the seventh book in her Cederville series and what a beautiful second chances story it was! I have read all of the other books in the series and yes, you could read the story as a standalone but you’d miss out so much out on the dynamics and subtleties by doing so!
The story is Julia and Wes’ story of second chances … They had been together for four years when teenagers and unfortunately they got into experimenting with drugs and it got out of control! Julia got clean but Wes didn’t and for the sake of staying clean, Julia left Wes … for fourteen years! It is in some ways a very heart-breaking story of how far reaching our mistakes can be – for fourteen long years both Julia and Wes have tried to have other relationships but no one, no one has filled the spot the other had left behind … They both have rebuilt their lives, they both are successful in their own rights and the writer is taking us on a journey of re-discovery … can they forgive and move on? Will their families still be supportive when the old secrets come to light?
I love all of the Centerville stories and I invite you to join us and become friends with all these amazing characters that Bree has introduced to us! Every book she introduces us someone new who ends up getting their own story so I cannot wait for the next Centerville adventure!

A Chance Worth Taking (Cedarville #5) by Bree Kraemer – Review by Jana Teppih

A Chance Worth Taking (Cedarville #5)A Chance Worth Taking by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A Chance Worth Taking by Bree Kreamer is the fifth book in her Cederville series and it is another hit! I have read the previous book and it was such a pleasure to meet some new people in this small town of Cederville and also meet up with the old friends!
This romantic story is the story of Avery Davies and Dax Lange and both of them have a pretty heavy baggage that they are carrying around. Avery is a newcomer in the area and she is ready to put down the roots! Dax has always lived in Cedarville and after a wild youth he found his way and is seemingly on top of the world except that when he meets Avery, his world goes topsy turvy!
It is a fast paced book and you will run a gamut of emotions while reading it! Grab a glass of wine and join the ladies of Cedarville while enjoying the pleasures of small town living! I love the sense of hope and certainty of happy ending that the writer is a master of creating! I know that I will be looking forward to the next story taking

Better Together (Cedarville #4) by Bree Kraemer – Review by Jana Teppih

Better Together (Cedarville #4)Better Together by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Better Together by Bree Kraemer is the fourth book in her Cedarville Series. I had not read the first three when I read this one and I am sure, I would have gotten much more out of it had I read the first three … I felt that I missed knowing who the rest of the Cedarville gang was.
Better Together was a sweet and steamy story of Ryan Ball and Addison Scott. Ryan is a perfectly groomed tax lawyer outside and a clumsy sweet boy inside who has learnt to fake it and have it under control at any given moment. Addison is an extremely beautiful smart young woman who has led quite a solitary life as she has been shunned by other women who thought she might go after their boyfriends/men when she starts hanging out with them …
Ryan’s life changes overnight when his brother and his wife die and he gets the co-guardianship over his young nephew and he moves into this true American small town Cedarville, Ohio where he get this amazing support network of great group of people.
I loved how Bree has built that crazy inviting small town world with these lovable characters that make one wish to move there as well! I enjoyed the journey she took us on along with Addison and Ryan when they were figuring out the way to each other! I know I will definitely go back and read the first 3 books; actually, I already downloaded the first one!
Take a chance on Cedarville and this group of young people that show that there is hope for everyone!

Better Together (Cedarville #4) by Bree Kraemer – Review by Angela Shirley

Better Together (Cedarville #4)Better Together by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Better Together is the fourth book in the Cederville Series and revolves around Ryan and Addison, will Ryan turning his world upside down to live in Cedarville be a mistake or will he find the kick start to his life he has been looking for.

Ryan had his life turned upside down finding out his brother and his wife had had a car accident but the shocking thing is that they had a six year old son which now was an orphan and if Ryan did not rock up to the plate he would spend time in the foster care system.

So Ryan accepts to become the guardian but with his job in Baltimore he needs help adjusting to this new lifestyle, so Ryan decides to look up his brother’s ex-girlfriend but is not sure how this will go down as his brother cheater on her with her mother. As he expected she had no hard feelings towards the instant baby boy in the mix and agreed to help Ryan raise Reed.

There’s one thing Ryan has fell in love with Reed and Cedarville and ends up packing his job in, moving to the sleepy town but was this all become of Reed or is there a stunning brunette mixed in with this decision.

Addison is a smart and pretty, she has always been looked at for her beauty rather than her brains, her friends were always scared that their husbands would have an affair with her, until the moment Ryan Ball entered Cedarville her world spinned on it axis, there was an instant attraction which she could not explain. So once Ryan moved to the sleepy town they decide to act on the attraction the only thing is Ryan has never been good at dating.

I really loved these two characters and the interaction between them and was willing them to succeed in the relationship. I also was invested within the second characters also and enjoyed that they loved and cherished each relationship with in the family they created. This book can be read as a stand-alone but the other books in the series are just as good so I would recommend you read them also.

Choosing You (Cedarville Series #3) by Bree Kraemer – Review by Debi Kircher

Choosing You (Cedarville #3)Choosing You by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Choosing You by Bree Kraemer, book 3 of the Cedarville series.

This can be read as a standalone, which is what I did since this was the first book I have read by this author. I will though be downloading the first 2 in this series today and reading them as soon as possible.

Carly Graham, an independent woman who had her heart not only broken but shattered back in college and will never allow falling in love to rule her life ever again. She has two awesome best friends, family she adores, and owns a successful business. She lives her life exactly how she wants it. So why does a good friend of her 2 cousins cause her to question everything? He is so bossy and aggravating and makes her crazy, yet she always feels safe whenever he is near.

Anthony Scott owns his own security firm and is training his sister Addison to run it with him. He loves the new town he moved to. He has some great friends and a very supportive family. His only problem is his good friends cousin, she drives him crazy and has taken over most of his thoughts and is seriously cramping his hooking up with anyone else because all he can think about is her.

A bottle of vodka, and some seriously hot drunk texts causes too many questions that need answers. It seems Carly and Anthony are the only two that don’t know the answers to these questions. One day Anthony becomes aware of an issue with his sister and enlists the help of Carly and her friends. Fixing this issue is easy, the hard part is it causes Anthony and Carly to spend even more time together. Just when Carly is ready to face and deal with her feelings for Anthony something from her past slams into her life. She is left with a huge choice, and no matter which choice she makes it will affect everything and everybody in her life.

I loved this book, it made me happy, sad, hopeful, and angry all within just a few pages. The story flowed perfectly and the author created all of the characters in this book so that you couldn’t help but fall in love with them, or seriously detest them in a few cases. I will not only be getting the first two in this series but will also be checking out her other books as well. Definitely a five star read!!!

Every time she see him her body can’t help but react to him she wants him bad but shes just not sure how to approach him, Melanie is normally in control of things and straight to the point but with Logan she not as confident at first. When Logan gets a offer to work away again on assignment with his photography that give Melanie the push she needs to tell him how she really feels but things don’t go to plan. Ever since Mel was attacked Logan realised there was more to them friendship it shocked the hell out of him to think all this time they could have been more but deep down he knows he wouldn’t of been ready especially considering he would have been away a lot with work so then wouldn’t of been the right time. Logan has been thinking recently that he no longer wants to travel but when what he originally has planned goes through he decide to do one more assignment away but hes in a complete shock when he finds out just before he’s leaving that Mel has had feelings for him for all this time not sure what to do with all this new information he still goes hoping that Mel won’t hate him to much when he gets back. Capturing Us (A Cedarville Novel) by Bree Kraemer – Review by Anna Hirsch

Capturing Us (Cedarville #2)Capturing Us by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Capturing Us by Bree Kraemer
4 Stars

This is book two in the Cedarville series. You don’t have to read book one but I would suggest it. You’ll have the back story to this book and book one was excellent. Capturing Us focuses on the relationship between Melanie and Logan. Melanie has been in love with Logan for as long as she can remember. With Logan’s job taking him away from Cedarville for weeks and months at a time, Melanie would suppress her feelings and live her life. She’s had her experiences and went on dates. Now Logan has returned to Cedarville for good and Melanie doesn’t know how to cope with her feelings. They are coming to the surface and she doesn’t know how to hide them anymore.

Ever since Logan found Melanie on the floor after the break in in her house, he realized his feelings are more than just friendship. He doesn’t know what he would have done if she had been seriously hurt. He wouldn’t be able to live without her. He can’t go a day without seeing her. Yet since the break in, Melanie has been acting like she hates him. Logan’s so confused. They finally admit their feelings to each other and embark on a romantic relationship. As in any new relationship, there are trust issues and communication problems. Even though they have been friends forever, these are new issues because they are starting a life together.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters are wonderful and the dynamics between them is comforting. They are a close knit group who are there for each other whether they need help or they are making fun of one another. They are funny. This is another book that thrilled me from this author. I’m looking forward to reading more from her.

An Unexpected Home (Cedarville, #1) by Bree Kraemer – Review by Moriah Venable

An Unexpected Home (Cedarville #1)An Unexpected Home by Bree Kraemer

An Unexpected Home is the first novel in the Cedarville series by Bree Kraemer. This is my first novel by this author.

Leah Gibson, 28 year old accountant, moves to Cedarville, Ohio to help her friends Carly and Mel run their dance studio. After a little hesitation, Leah decides to start life anew to get away from the press and media after the betrayal of her father and uncle.

‘Home, she realized, was not just a place you slept or kept your things. It was more than that. It was a place that you felt comfortable and wanted. Even loved.’

When she arrives she meets Brandon who is not only Carly’s 33 year old cousin but also the local acting police chief after the former police chief had a heart attack and he was next in line. There is an instant attraction between the two but of course the two try to deny it.

The night Leah comes to town there is a break in and Brandon tries not to sound accusing when someone says they saw Leah’s car pass by during the time of the break in. Leah feels like she is being questioned because of her past, but answers the questions anyway.

The next day she goes to see him but leaves when she starts having a panic attack and leaves. She comes back to apologize and explains that she wants to sleep with him but Brandon refuses because he likes her and wants more than just that.

When an expected visitor comes into town, will they ruin the growing relationship?

While initially hesitant, I really enjoyed this story. The novel is told from alternative third person perspectives of Leah and Brandon.

Brandon is one of those types of guys who dates but wants nothing serious and the women he sees know that. But the moment he lays eyes on Leah, he likes her and wants more. He doesn’t like being called ‘boss’ or ‘sir’ but it protective of those he cares about.

“I will say this . I have women that I can go to when I want sex and they know that it is just sex. But I don’t sleep around.”“Why can’t I be one of those women?” He heard the words and he knew what she was asking but for some reason it made him angry. “You just can’t,” he said and turned putting his back to her so he could go sit back down.”

I love stories where people are starting over and making a new life for themselves.

Of course the path getting there, isn’t easy. But it’s great and makes me hopeful, when reading.

Leah and Brandon I felt had amazing chemistry, making the novel more fun to read.

With great romance, suspense and characters one can relate to, it’s a novel you don’t wanna put down.

I can’t wait for the next novel.
