Walk Off (Ground Rule Book 1) by Bree Kraemer – Review by Rosanna Ingram

Walk OffWalk Off by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I’m a sucker for a good second chance romance…and this one was pretty good.

Celia and Kyle run into each other at a friend’s wedding and the 8 years that they have spent trying to get over each other melts away. Their love and attraction is felt off the pages. But, when Celia reveals a secret that she has hidden since they went their separate ways, their reunion might be short lived. Can Kyle move past a secret like this? And can he forgive her for the choice she made (without him) all those years ago?

I enjoyed these characters. There were times when I wanted to bop each of them on the head…but overall they were good. This was a pretty quick read filled with the best parts of a second chance romance…deceit, surprises, and chemistry. Overall, a good book. Looking forward to reading the next in the series.

Walk Off is an adorable second chance romance between Celia and Kyle. Celia broke Kyle’s heart 8 years ago to protect his future by telling him hurtful lies. They run into each other at a wedding, neither of them expecting it. Celia decides to come clean about the lies she told and uncovered one LARGE secret. They spent the last 8 years trying to get over one another but they couldn’t do it. Back in each other’s orbit, the steam and passion com back like it was yesterday. Kyle should hate Celia but even after all this time his love for her still out weighs everything else. Overall this was a good story, the characters at points were a tad annoying, but overall wasn’t that bad. The big secret was hard for me to believe that someone would forgive so easily for, but that is a me thing, not a everyone thing.

Walk Off is the first book in the Ground Rule Series by Bree Kraemer. Gah!! I love Bree Kraemer’s stories so much!! She always manages to pack so much heart, soul, and emotion into her book-s and her characters are just sublime.
This second chance contemporary romance pulled me in right from the beginning and had me completely invested in the characters and their story. I couldn’t put it down and devoured it all in one sitting.
A wedding is the last place Kyle expected to see Celia. Even after eight years, everything comes rushing back. What happens when secrets are revealed?
With plenty of sizzle, secrets, lies, heartache, pain, unresolved emotions, drama, angst, chemistry, forgiveness, and hope- Kyle and Celia’s story had me burning the midnight oil so I wouldn’t go to sleep without knowing how things played out in the end.
Can’t wait to continue this fantastic new series!
Happy reading.

Thank you, Bree Kraemer!

There are quite a bit of sex scenes in the story, just a warning for those people who aren’t into that. I however loved the story and the scenes. To think about a man loving you so much he can’t ever keep his hands off you. Shew. The storyline is a great one too. Did Celia mess up everything by lying?

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The book was full of everything I love in a book…plenty of heart, feelings and second chance. Jasmine is an adorable smart little girl who loves her mom and never knew her dad. Celia is a beautiful girl who broke Kyle’s heart about 8 years ago when she broke up with him and told him she didn’t love him. Not only was Kyle heartbroken but so was she. Kyle was able to move on and have other relationships but he always thought back to Celia and never stopped loving her. Imagine their surprise when they run into eachother at a friends wedding. Both characters have had heartbreak growing up from family members and still carry that baggage. What will happen when Celia finally tells Kyle the truth….why she broke up with him and didn’t give him the chance to choose what he wanted for his future. Will he be able to forgive Celia for what she did / didn’t do all those years ago? This book was definitely a 5 star read. I loved all the characters and cannot wait to read the next book and see what the author has in store for Zara. Grab your copy of this book and you won’t be able to
Put it down.

This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up by her. I never hesitate to pick up one of her books. I know that I am in for a romance roller coaster that I don’t want to get off. This book is no different. This is the first book in this series and what a great start it is. I can’t wait to see what happens next in this series. I found this book to be well written and hard to put down. A story where the characters pull you into their world from the start. A story where secrets, second chances and fate have something in store for these two characters that you won’t see coming. They are strong, connectable characters that I had no problem picturing myself in their world. This is a fast paced story where the characters growth and chemistry made the story easy to read. I really enjoyed this book and you don’t want to miss this one. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Walk Off is the first book wonderful Ground Rule series. This is a beautiful second chance romance story. I am a fan of Bree’s storytelling and the ease in which she comes up with amazing yet complex characters. This book is well written and is emotional and intense at times. The story flows nicely and making it a quick and easy read.
The stories will keep you on your toes to see how things go and by the time you have finished you won’t be disappointed.
I can’t wait to see what Bree comes up with next.
This is Celia and Kyle’s story. They share a past one full of lies and pain. Now, after eight years both are back in in the same place.
Celia has been keeping secrets now sharing those secrets could cost her the man she has always loved. Kyle still loves her, but can he forgive the one secret that blows him away.

I found this to be an interesting read. The rekindling of their romance brought on the newfound knowledge of their daughter. It was a nicely done second chance romance. I found the characters to be okay, a tad whiney but they were very relatable. The plot was fairly smooth and fast paced. This is a nice, quick read for those weekends spent in a quiet setting.

The Only Series, 5 book boxed set by Bree Kraemer – Review by Robin Rankin

The Only Series, 5 book boxed setThe Only Series, 5 book boxed set by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Only Series by Bree Kraemer is a set of five books and what a gre as r series this is. I have had the pleasure of reading other books by Ms. Kraemer in the past and she hasn’t disappointed me yet. There are several hot moments throughout the series that will leave you fanning yourself. We meet several great characters who all face different challenges while falling in love.

Only By His Touch was my favorite of the five though I loved each one of the stories so much this one got to me and I think that is because strength Samantha has and shows when life decided to knock her down then kick several times while she is down. She come out on the other side stronger than everyone realized, including herself.

Only With Trust is Michelle’s story. She has been burned many times in the past and has serious trust issues due to that. She is afraid to give her heart and rightfully so but in the end the heart wants what the heart wants no matter when the brain says.

If Only is Colin’s story and I think of the guys he ended up being my favorite with Steve a very close second. His family has a history with love that not a lot of people can say they have and it slams into him the moment he sees her. Why the brain seems to shut down once a guy falls in love I will have no idea.

Only You is about Sophie getting her happily ever after, after heartbreak and watching her friends find their someone special. Sophie broke my heart a little bit and I just wanted to hug her and make it better.

In Only For Love we finally get to find out about Gretchen and see the scars she carries from her childhood. Running will not fix anything and I wish I could have told her that.

Each one of these stories touched me in a different way and saw a little piece of myself in each one of the women. Great series.

Bree Kraemer’s The Only Series is a 5 book boxed set which includes: Only By His Touch, Only with Trust, If Only, Only You and Only for Love. This boxed set was amazing to read with the overlapping characters between the stories and the elaborate plots that they encompassed. I really liked how the author tied in the stories between books, characters, and all to create five separate stories, but each intertwined in their own ways. The female leads each had their own unique personalities that allowed you to keep them apart as you ventured between the stories, as well as, the male characters which were distinctly divine in their own rights. This story flowed with attraction, chemistry, and an loads of emotional journeys to embark upon. Absolutely loved!!

I really enjoy this authors work. Every book is unique and has just the right amount of crazy. I do have to say that Only By His Touch was my favorite book in the series. The characters were very refreshing. Sam and Ethan had a very unique chemistry and history. To grow feelings for someone who you have never met face to face bit have shared so much of yourself with. The other books were just as good. Bryce and Michelle were an interesting couple and I loved how open Bryce was. Emma and Colin had me giggling a little. He waited so long and Lord that was super sweet and scary. She could’ve fell for someone else or not felt the same way about him. Overall every book is amazing on its own but even better read together.

The Only Series by Bree Kraemer is 5 books  in this very convenient boxed set! The boxed set included ALL of the books in the series – Only By His Touch, Only With Trust, If Only, Only You, and Only For Love. You could read all of them as standalones but they do complement each other and the main characters are all connected, one way or the other – whether siblings, or friends, or brothers-in-arms or …
I love boxed sets as at times when you fall in love with a series it is such a pain needing to wait for the next book and when it is a boxed set you know you are guaranteed hours and hours of deep pleasure! I first fell in love with Bree’s writing when I read her Cedarville series and I always wondered if she’d be able to beat it and yes, she did … she gave us Samantha and Ethan, Michelle and Bryce, Sophie and Kevin, Emma and Colin, Gretchen and Steve …
We have five stories of struggles and chemistry and we all feel like part of their stories and we root for them and we laugh with them and we cry with them … It is absolutely a must read!

Bree Kraemer has written The Only Series and it leaves you wanting more. She does an amazing job of writing this series because it can be read separately or in the set of books. She introduces fully developed characters that you can relate with easily. You can see these characters in the real world who are your neighbors and not just in a book. I went through the emotional roller coaster with the characters. All the stories are laid back, casual, and at a relaxing pace. If you are looking for a nice series to read at your leisure this is the series for you.

I loved reading the box set of The Only Series by Bree Kraemer. These are five contemporary romance stories that hooked me in and once I started a story, I found myself lost in the pages. One of the reasons I loved them so much is the characters. They are well-developed, and I grew to care about each one of them. I wanted them all to find love and happiness. I enjoyed that the characters are brought forward into the next book. There is plenty of romance and steamy scenes going on in this series that will make the temperature in the room rise. There is playful/flirty bantering as well as dirty talking. The stories had my emotions going up and down with the characters. There are heartwarming moments and times when I had a smile on my face or was laughing out loud. There are times when insecurities arise and also when passions ignite. There is never a dull moment. These are a set of stories that are a joy to read. This is a set of books I would highly recommend.

The Only is a 5 book boxed Set, and the complete series by Bree Kraemer. There is so much to love about this collection, from the wonderful characters, the beautiful writing, and the captivating stories. The first book in this series is how I got my introduction to Ms. Kraemer’s work, and I have followed her closely ever since.
Reading this series has been a real pleasure- meeting these charming characters and following their journeys provided me with hours of wonderful reading. The stories aren’t very long, so each book doesn’t take endless hours to get through- each one could easily be read in one sitting. The books are all contemporary romances, and range from friends-to-lovers, holiday/office romance, falling for a friend’s brother, or falling for the boss.
Each book follows one particular couple, but there are recurring characters who make appearance throughout each story, and who have their own book at some point in the series. The books can all be read as standalones, but as I have mentioned, the cast of characters are all so interesting and likeable, you will want to find out all about them by reading every book.

The series consists of:
– Only By His Touch (Book #1)
– Only With Trust (Book #2)
– If Only (Book #3)
– Only You (Book #4)
– Only For Love (Book #5)

So, if you like sexy, fun, and emotive stories that are really well written, with well-rounded, endearing, and believable characters – then this series is for you.

Thank you, Ms. Kraemer!

Each book tells the story of a different couple but characters reappear throughout the series. The books flowed so well from one to the next even though they are standalones. Each couple had a different story to their relationship and had their own trials. Samantha’s character really stood out to me because she had experienced so much but she didn’t let it get her down and she fought to get her life as close to normal as she could get it. All of the men were very swoon worthy! I don’t think I could pick a favorite if I tried. I am so glad I read these books!! Bree Kraemer doesn’t disappoint.

The Only Series by Bree Kraemer five fulfilling five-star reads. What a great series, I have loved this boxed set, I am a huge fan of the author so when I saw this on sale, I had to buy it. I hadn’t started the series as I hate having to wait for the next read in the series, so this was great as even though each story is a stand-alone, they do complement each other, as each story only by his touch, only with trust, if only, only you (my personal fave) and only for love. Some of the main characters are friends and this just makes them more like people you know, Sophie was someone who I just resonated with so much, she really did earn a spot in my heart for some reason. I honestly didn’t think that Bree Kraemer could write anything better that the Cedarville series, but she may have just done it with this one.

Say When (A Cedarville Novel Book 9) by Bree Kraemer – Review by Jana Teppih

Say When (A Cedarville Novel Book 9)Say When by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Say When is the ninth book in Bree Kraemer’s fantastic Cedarville series! I have read the whole series as I fell in love with it from book one! I love the small town set up and how a group of friends keeps growing and embraces newcomers and every time I finish a story I wish I could move there!
Say When is the story of Danielle “Dani” and “Pat” Patrick. We met Dani in Wes and Julia’s book, she is that shy baker who created those amazing desserts. We also met Patrick who was hired by Wes as a chef to work in his Dockside restaurant. Dani and Patrick go back long way – Patrick’s sister was one of Dani’s best friends and she had such a crush on Patrick when she was thirteen ….
Patrick has some work he needs to do to get Dani out of her shell! “No more barely living. No more fear.” These two take us on a sweet ride! I like how Bree gives us those sweet stories where we are not overwhelmed by angst and actually drowns us in romance! And do not forget about the good laugh we get as well!
I hope that the writer is not yet done with this charming small town with all those great people and we will get some more Cedarville stories!

Say When by Bree Kraemer is the ninth book in her Cedarville series. This is such a strong series. Each book can be read as a stand-alone but I dare you to try and stop yourself from falling in love with this whole series.
Dani and Patrick have got to be my favourites so far. I found Dani to be so relatable. Which made it so easy to become very invested in her character and her story. I was desperate for the two of them to find a way to make things work, to learn how to communicate with each other.
And to make it even better it was a book about a best friends sister. They are always one of my favourite books and this was no exception.
As always with this series I found this book to be heartwarming and well written. My favourite so far and it has made me even more excited to read what else is to come.

Patrick and Dani, finally! I could honestly read a book about every Cedarville resident and I’d never get enough of this series.
I loved this story, and as with every book in this series this is now my favorite.
Dani is a baker and has always dreamt of opening a bakery, but her fear makes that thought impossible in her eyes. In comes Patrick, who she knows from years ago. He is a cook and server at Dockside, and they’ve never put 2 and 2 together of who each other were.
This story was sweet in every way but also so hot it’ll melt your kindle!

Say When by Bree Kraemer is the ninth book in the Cedarville series. I can’t believe there have already been nine books in this series and I have loved each and every one of them and hope there are more to come.

Dani a sweet shy baker with problems speaking with men. She is desperate to come out of her shell and discover the person she is under that fear.

Patrick is the other chef at Dockside and cannot stop eating the cupcakes that are delivered daily. He’s surprised to find out he has known the baker since she was a kid.

This was a very sweet story without a lot of drama which was not needed to make their story wonderful. I hope to see this group of friends again in the future since I’m not ready to let them go.

5-stars

“Love doesn’t follow a timeline or schedule. It happens when it happens and you either recognize it, leaping in with both feet or you don’t and miss out on something amazing.”

Say When is my favourite book in Bree Kraemer’s Cedarville series. This is the 9th book in the must-read romance series and it follows Dani and Patrick along with appearances from my other favourite Cedarville couples! Though this book can be read as a standalone I would suggest reading the other books first as the characters that make appearances in Say When have their very own touching romance stories as well that are also worth a read!

This book was my favourite of this series due to the fact that it had everything I hope for in a romance read, a couple with amazing chemistry, steamy scenes, a build of emotions and of course a happily ever after. I loved how quickly I was able to connect with these characters and follow along their journey, I was saddened when I reached the end but I’m hoping to read more about Dani and Patrick in books to come!

This is a book and series I would recommend to anyone looking for their next romance read!
