I absolutely love reading Lonna Enox’s books! They hook you from the get-go and she keeps you submersed in the mystery. Her character’s are so incredibly realistic. I loved seeing Sorrel Janes again from the previous book and catching up with her. I love the twists and turns that happen that you never expected! This series is a definite one-click!

Blackbird’s Deliverance is the fourth book of Lisette Kristensen Silent Secrets Series. The writer took us on one heck of a ride in the first book of the series and she has not let go! She gives us a beautiful mix of emotions and actions and … romance … This time Blackbird is on a mission involving her family – her mother has been kidnapped and there is no doubt that she will jump in with two feet! I love how short the stories are, I know, it is sort of contradiction to what I usually say ( I love loooong ones) but I don’t think my heart could handle it if the stories were longer … the blood pressure goes up and up and up and then you are at the end and you are, whew, we made it! It is not just Blackbird I love, I like the whole team and I love how the writer has them interacting and how in each book we learn a bit more about them. I think at times it is the secondary characters that make the story zing! Keep them coming and we will keep reading!

The Fire God Tour is the third book in the Moore Family Saga by Michele Sims. I liked this book more than the first two. It focuses on Miles, as a young adult, rather than his parents. Overall I felt like the story was well developed in this book and it is the focus of the series. The first two books were simply laying the ground work. Both lead characters are very strong and independent people, and their chemistry together works well. I like the mesh and tie in of the supporting characters. Miles is now a famous hip hop artist, about to go in a huge international tour. He is tiring of the life of groupies and different girls every night, and might be ready to settle down and become a one girl man. Bella is his chief of marketing and her main job is to lay control the media surrounding Miles. She takes her job very seriously, and won’t ever use a man to better her career. Because of her dedication to her job, she must ignore her feelings for Miles and focus on the tasks at hand. But that is easier said than done.

Orion’s Kiss by Claire Luana was an exc8and creative novel. It was romantic and invigorating. I was immediately hooked with this novel with the introduction of Meriah’s past life of Merope and the so called curss placed on her and her sisters. I love Ryan aka Orion’s character after he is introduced. The two make quite an interesting pair of frenemies. I really enjoyed this novel and its story line. It had an excellent plot and climax. I could not put this book down. I also enjoyed the various characters and how developed they were. The scenery was also very descriptive and easy to visualize. Such a fun and easy read. I highly recommend it!

Whom Shall I kiss… An Earl, A Marquess, or A Duke? By Laura A. Barnes My rating: 5 out of 5 stars
This was such a cute book! The story could have gone on a little longer for me so that the characters could have more development, but I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Sidney is such an awesome character. I love how she is doing research on men to discover how they act and react to different situations involving a woman they are pursuing. The fact that she is doing this in the time period she lives in, where women are supposed to just stay home and keep their husbands happy, makes her that much more an amazing woman.
At first I was conflicted on who I wanted her to be with but the more and more I saw her interactions with Wilde, the more I wanted her to choose him and fall in love. Wilde as well as Sheffield are both horrible men, but you can see the change in Wilde. Sheffield is just nasty beginning to end. I wish we could have seen more of Rory, one of her best friends.
Overall a fantastic first book. I can’t wait until the second book to see what is in store for Sidney’s best friend Sophia. I feel like there may be something going on with her and Sheffield, and the story there seems to be very interesting. I would love to see more of Rory too.

Blackbirds’s Deliverance is the fourth book in the Silence Secret Series by Lisette Kristensen and another amazing read in a series that I have grown to love. Never did Blackbird think she would be back in Italy, not fighting but actually starting a new life for herself. And now her family is in danger and she struggles with her demons to save them or to continue the new life she has built for herself.
This series is awesome and each book gets better and better. I simply hope this series just keeps going because I simply love the author and Blackbird so much. The twists, the turns, the drama keep me coming back more and more! WELL DONE and FIVE stars!!!
The Debt Collector (An Underground Bad Boys Romance Book 1) by India Kells
Holy cow I need a cold shower after that read!! This book definitely made the temperature rise, but there was also so much more to this story. The characters in this book had deeper layers to them which are the reasons they do what they do. The chemistry between Locke and the doctor was off the charts and then add in Gage and it turns everything up a notch. There is suspense, action, and nail biting moments in this story that you don’t want to miss. This is an incredible read that was written expertly. I highly recommend this book.

I recently read the first book in this series, Proper Irish, and I fell in love with all of the characters. So much so that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this novel. Luca, sweet sweet Luca, in the first book I really took a liking to him although he wasn’t mentioned too many times in there. My heart broke for him when I heard his story. I felt his pain and apprehension towards Kerry. However, I also felt their attraction and I was rooting for their relationship to catch on fire. This book was packed full of steamy scenes, feelings, and character development. It was written very well and from a male’s point of view, which I enjoyed. This book was a page turner and was a quick and easy read.
I really loved this novel it was so passionate and had incredibly hot scenes made me alittle hot under the collar! I would say if your not into steamy reads this may not be for you but you would be missing out on an incredible read which takes you on a fantastic journey and leaves you wanting more, which doesn’t shock me the author has away of writing that draws you in and getting lost amongst there world!! Absolutely brilliant can’t wait to read more!!!!

Orion’s Kiss is a fabulous YA fantasy by Claire Luana that gives a modern day twist to some Greek mythology. I had never read any of this author’s work but after reading this I’d definitely read more from this author. Our heroine Meriah is the reincarnation of Merope. Meriah is sick of her sister’s being killed by Orion as a result of a curse placed on her family many centuries ago, so she decided that she needs to kill him. What results is a funny, heartwarming story as Meriah kidnaps Orion (currently called Ryan in this life) in order to kill him. The more time that Meriah spends with Ryan she sees a whole different side of him and discovers that much of what she has always believed isn’t quite the true story. The 2 of them decided to team up, along with their 2 best friends to find Zeus and break the curse. The interactions between Meriah and Ryan are hilarious at many points. Added to this both do a great deal of soul searching and discover new things about themselves. This book is really well written with great characters. The storyline really grabs you from the very beginning and takes you on a fantastic journey. I definitely recommend this book.

Whenever I go to pick up a Tamara Ferguson novel, especially from her Two Hearts Wounded series, I know I am in for quite a treat. Two Hearts Under Fire was no exception to the rule. This book is actually the eighth of the series, but it can be read as a standalone. I will say that it is nice to have that full build up of the story by starting from the beginning. Each one is absolutely worth every moment of the read too, so its hard to imagine not reading them.
In Two Hearts Under Fire brings us the story of Russ and Claire. Russ faced a mountain of trouble a few years ago with his team and the only one who managed to escape unscathed was him. Now he finds himself facing more danger and trouble when he is being framed for something that never happened. When Russ seeks his friend Brand and his wife for help he ends up meeting Claire, and his whole world changes. He feels so much for her but he also needs to focus on keeping himself safe and alive. Things get even more dynamic when an assassin attempts to kill them. Is this connected too or does Claire have a few secrets of her own that are coming back to haunt her? Will these two make it out of the chaos alive, and with a relationship that can test the times?
I couldn’t put this one down, and frankly I feel like this quickly became my favorite of the series so far. I loved these two and felt a connection to them that had me cheering for them beginning to end. I loved that I was also kept at a suspenseful pace throughout as well. The book is multidimensional and captivating. I struggled to see it end as much as I wanted to know how it would all turn out. I can’t wait to see what will come next from the ever talented Tamara Ferguson!

I feel like I need to start this review with a touch of a disclaimer. If you have not read the My Life prequel trilogy from Necie Navone I would highly recommend that you do so prior to starting on The Brothers of Camelot and this book My One Love. My One Love is actually the second book of The Brothers of Camelot series so you will need to also read the first one before this in my opinion as well. I say this because I found myself struggling with getting a touch lost at times with storylines and felt as if I needed a bit more of some story refreshing in the writing.
With all that being said, I really did enjoy My One Love. These books never seem to disappoint when I am in need of a good solid love story with some adventure thrown in to keep it exciting and fresh. This is something Necie Navone manages to do quite well. The characters were fairly easy to connect with and fully believable. I almost felt as if they were realistic people in my life by the time I finished the novel.
Aless and Grayson have always had nagging but suppressed feelings for each other. The constant ‘what if’s’ may just finally get to become what is. Aless will have to fully leave her Princess role behind to focus her attention on herself and Grayson, but will she be able to do so undistracted? Grayson doesn’t care what warnings Aless may come with, his needs to know if she is the one that was truly made for him like he so suspects. Of course there is some underlying drama and intrigue that will make things multidimensional and interesting as you fall for these two’s love story. I can’t wait to see what will come next with book three!

Proper Impulse is the third book in the Jaded Lily series by Zeia Jameson. I really loved the first two book in the series, so I couldn’t wait to read this too. I really enjoyed this book; the characters were interesting and well developed- and the story was sweet and engaging. I loved meeting Milo and Juniper, they are such great characters who took me on a very sweet, romantic, and touching story that had just enough drama and angst to keep things interesting. Milo is a police officer who takes his job and upholding the law very seriously. Juniper is a quirky free-spirited non-conformist who wears her heart on her sleeve and isn’t averse to bending the rules if it’s for the right cause. So, what happens when these two meet for the first time. Some might say they’re off to an awkward start, but opposites really do attract, don’t they? The story has a great pace and a smooth flow. The story is told from duel POV’s, which gives us a really great perspective of what’s happening. I also loved catching up with characters from previous books. Even though this book could be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the other two books first, because I think knowing what happens in the first two books will enhance your reading experience of this book. Can’t wait to see what Ms. Jameson does next.

The Dreamer’s Vengeance by Helen Tyree is my first read by this author. Her style is vivid scenery, easy to get wrapped up in the characters, and the presentation of the story. With these three things done by Helen Tyree, makes the book that much more enjoyable to read. I would say that this is a YA book, on the other hand I would as an adult read this story. It has a fast pace movement to keep you on your toes. Since it was so easy to follow, I did not realize that I had read the whole book. I love it when you can get that involved with the story to lose all sense of the world around you to the world inside your imagination. The story is about people of Israa having evil humans take hold of their land. There is a prophecy about a Dreamer who will free them from the evil humans. It was a long time since the prophecy has been proclaimed and now there is a plan. Will the Dreamer hold true to the prophecy? Will the prophecy come true? Is there something there that wasn’t there before? All of these questions will be answered and more. I would recommend this story to forget about the world for a while. .

Well this was a delightfully delicious read!! I have read books by this author previously so I knew I would probably be in for a good read and as predicted I was completely right! Whilst I’m not usually a fan of MFM stories even I can’t deny the passion and chemistry between the characters! Tess was a fantastic female lead – I really enjoyed reading about her. I fell in love with Gage straight away there was just something about him that made him relatable – the only character I did have a little difficulty connecting to was Locke, he was a very closed off and in some ways complex character however I enjoyed trying to unravel him and understand him more. The authors writing in this book captured my interest right away and I couldn’t put it down until I had finished. It was a multidimensional read that had me fully engaged. I 100% recommend it and I am certainly looking forward to more from Ms Kells in the future.

The Debt Collector by India Kells a five-star read that will set your pages alight. This is number one in an Underground Bad Boys series and it kicks off with an explosion of heat that I am sure will just go up in temperature if that is possible. Sometimes the content of this story can be a little deep and hard to cope with, but the author does such a great job it makes it an easier read and more palatable when you read it. Tessa was someone that you want in your life, she is a good person, but there is so much more to her than just being good. On the flip side just because you’re a bad boy doesn’t mean you are always bad, as we find with Gabe and Locke. I adore this author, but this is by far my favourite of all their work.

I give Blood Relations by Lonna Enox, 5 stars. **This review may contain spoilers from book one in the series.**
Sorrel is now settled and happy in the small town of Saddle Gap. Her business is open and she has a good set of friends to depend on. Her mentor, John, tells her of a festival that would be perfect for photographers like they are, and she lets herself be talked into it, agreeing to meet him there. But he isn’t there when she arrives. She is not worried at first, but as time passes, she gets a bad feeling. What does she find instead? A dead body in a preservation area. Can Sorrel and Reed figure out what happened to John? Not to mention, who is the dead body? Sorrel feels compelled to search for answers, but things are never as they seem…
I loved book one and was so happy to read another in the series. The first book was great and I loved the characters. This book did not disappoint in the slightest. In fact, I finished it in one night! The whodunit part of books are always my favorite. I love to be kept guessing and I had no idea how this one was going to end. Then there Sorrel and Reed. These are two stubborn people who have difficulty trusting others. But at the same time, they work great together. Then of course there are the secondary characters. I’m so happy they are back, I love them! Oh and did I mention another cat! That right there is the cherry on top. Not to mention that she tells the cats they’re in charge any time she leaves. Such a cat mom thing right there!
I digress. If you like cozy mysteries with lots of action and some parts that just make you laugh, this book is for you. It can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading book 1 first since they are both incredible.

I give Blackbird’s Deliverance (Silent Secrets Series #4) by Lisette Kristensen, 4 stars.
Blackbird gave up her past life, including family and friends, to be a Mossad agent. She is happy here, happier than she has been in so long. But now her family is in danger. They were never the closest, but it is her family. Can she just sit back and watch it happen, or can she save them? Do they even need her? She never thought her past would come back to her like this…
This is not a very long book, but it sure packs a lot of action in that space. We learn so much more about her parents in this. Plus her struggles at separating her job from her personal feelings. This is a great addition to the series and I would highly recommend reading the other books first to have a better understanding. But once you pick this book up, you will not be able to put it down until you get to the end. Not to mention the twists along the way.

This is a lovely story about how love can leave a person damaged and also heal a person.
Luca thought he had it all until the woman he loves breaks up with him and tells him she’s pregnant with another man’s child. Luca goes into a downward spiral until a meeting with an irish man called Padraig changes his life.
Fast forward 3 years and things are good for Luca again except for having that special person to love. But Luca is unsure if he can fall in love again until Kerry walks into his life. Is she the one to heal the old wounds and help him love again.
I really enjoyed this book and the story of the characters lives. Its a heartwarming story.
Blood Relations by Lonna Enox is the second book of the Sorrel Jane’s Mysteries series.
Sorrel has been through so much since she left Houston and started her life over in Saddle Gap, which you can read about in the first book. They adventures continue in this book and I have a feeling there will be more in the future.
Sorrel and Reed have quite an intriguing and complicated relationship. I have my hopes about them and looking forward to the next book to see if there is any chance I’m right.
This series isn’t one I would searched for on my own, but I saw the synopsis and decided to give it a try and I’m so gl a’s d I did. I love these characters and looking forward to the next book.

This continues the story of Sorrel and her new friends in Saddle Gap. Things are going well for her, her shop is doing great and life is good. Until she goes to meet John (who is like a father to her). They were supposed to meet for a week of photography but John doesnt arrive. Sorrel knows something is wrong as John would never just not turn up.
So with the help of Reed they embark on a journey of secrets, deceptions and lies to find out what happened to John and why.
I loved this story. It is full of twists and turns you don’t see coming and the characters are so well written you cant help but feel their emotions.

Luca is a tattoo artist who has pretty much closed off dating He’s been hurt in the past. Kerry is a event planner and she’s very good at it. These two decide not to give themselves a label but they are just hanging out together. Can these two have a future together? What happens when they decide to take a chance with each other. The Trouble With Paradise (A Madeline Dawkins Mystery Book 4) by Cynthia Hamilton is a five star novel. I have loved getting to know Madeline and Mike as people over the course of the first three books. Having more to devour, only makes this series better. This time, the duo has started investigating the deaths of two people. One, the wife was in prison for killing her husband and two, the police said it was a suicide. Once the pair is put to the task, they start finding out more and more. What they uncover is truly crazy and I did not see it coming. This book was difficult to put down and I didn’t do much of that until it was finished!

Whom Shall I Kiss… An Earl, A Marquess, or A Duke? (Tricking the Scoundrels Book 1) by Laura A. Barnes
I found this book to be charming and original. This story was very entertaining and I found myself laughing at some antics that go on. I loved Lady Sydney Hartridge character, she is intelligent and a bit quirky. I am sure that when she decided to move forward with her experiment that she never thought of what would happen if there were any feelings involved. This book had me turning pages to find out more about these wonderful characters. I laughed, I got angry and I was rooting for a good outcome for my favorite characters. You must read to find out if this experiment causes more of a scandal. This is a fun read, I recommend this book, can’t wait to read the next one.

Proper Ink was a great 5 star read and book two in the Jaded Lily series. We bounce past to present so that we get the back story on Luca and what has caused him such heartbreak.
You can’t see people when your heart is closed for business
He had so many plans, until one day his heart was shattered. We jump ahead three years and Luca is a tattoo artist, he has gone in a different direction than he had originally planned to with his career and he has shut his heart off to women. When he meets Kerry there is something about her that draws him in.
Kerry works as an event planner and she is having a hard time with her boss. Fate steps in and these two seem to be showing up at the same places. They start to connect as friends and things start to grow between them. There is a little setback when Luca sees the woman from his past, he realizes he’s not quite ready to move on yet or is he?
Can Kerry and Luca have a HEA? Will he finally let someone else into his heart?
Overall I really enjoyed this book. Both Kerry and Luca pulled me in, they are great characters with their own strengths. Kerry had me LOL at times. Luca is a super sweet hottie. We do get some steamy scenes from them as well. I really liked the ending, it made my heart smile. I can’t wait to read more from this author and series. 1-click and get started today.
The Fire God Tour is the third book in the Moore Family Saga series and Miles Moore is all grown up. Miles is also Ari who is a popular Hip Hop artist. He still loves fire, it’s something inside him but he loves all the money he is making, traveling, and FAST women!! When Bella joins his team, he nicknamed her Ice Queen. As time goes by its easy to see they belong together but she is so scared of fire and fire is Miles life. Read more to find out if Fire and Ice can truly mix.
I love this series and really loved this book. The author again had me booked from Chapter One until the end. I love the characters and how the bantered back and forth. O love the way the author brings this amazing story to life. I give this book 5 stars and highly recommend!

TWO HEARTS UNDER FIRE is the 8th book in the “Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Series” and can absolutely be read as a stand-alone. There are characters and story threads that weave in and out of the entire series, but it is always done in such a way that I never feel like I’ve forgotten someone or an event.
Character development is complete and the story always has a lot of action and suspense and, of course, romance. The author does not put a lot of filler in the stories, so it is always straight to the point and the action. I really appreciate that. It feels like a more authentic read.
Because of the nature of this series, it can go on and on for years to come. I will continue reading the series for as long as it is written. ****

I am not typically a fan of Regency Romance but this seemed like it would be a lighthearted read with a clever protagonist. The blurb set the story up nicely and I imagined it would be more of a satirical look at what happens with ruined reputations. It was not satirical in nature at all.
The story starts out strong. The plot is well thought out and the characters are easy to distinguish. While I realize this is fiction and with that truths can be twisted and reformed; there was just something about this book that seemed to contradict itself as the story moved forward.
I always admire an author who can put words to paper and follow a thought long enough to create a whole story (or series in this case). This book just wasn’t my cup of tea. ***

The Trouble with Paradise (Madeline Dawkins Mystery) by Cynthia Hamilton
Another great mystery in a great series. I love to read about Mike and Madeline and how they solve their next case. This story kept me on the edge of my seat while I was anticipating what was going to happen next. The author does a wonderful job weaving a suspenseful story full of action and interesting characters. I have loved reading this series from the start. I can’t wait to read the next book by this amazing author. I highly recommend this book.
