An Appointment ( Summer in New York, #4) by Lindsay Marie Miller. I have read many books by this author and thoroughly enjoyed them all! This book was no exception. This book has love and drama, high emotion and best of all second chance at love. Savannah has not had the easiest of times lately. She is newly divorced and trying her best to carry on. She has vowed to never make the same mistake again and fall in love. One man in her life is enough, her son. When she has to take him to the doctors, due to his asthma, the last thing she expected to find was Preston. He has been hurt and left alone and also in debt due to his ex-wife. He is extremely attracted to Savannah, will they be able to put their pasts behind them and move forward with their relationship or will past insecurities ruin them? I truly enjoyed this book and I hope you do as well.

An Appointment (Summer in New York Book 4) by Lindsay Marie Miller 4 stars
While this is book 4, it can be read as a standalone. Savannah isn’t looking for love, she has her hands full with her son, the only man she will ever need. Preston has always wanted a family, but his divorce has left him feeling that’ll never happen now. Can these two fight their attraction or will the pull be too strong? I really enjoyed this book and all the characters in the story, it held my attention and had me turning pages to see what happened next. I cant wait for more from this author!

An Appointment is the fourth book in Lindsay Marie Miller’s Summer in New York series. I have read EVERY SINGLE one of them! The stories can be read as a standalone but it is great to read them in the order as they are connected through the characters! Our Savannah Taylor, the divorced mother of a young boy is the daughter of Austin and Amy from book #2 (and niece of Claire and Benjamin from book #1). Savannah is not doing too well, the divorce has left her hurt and she feels like life is serving a curveball after curveball and she is barely managing to hold on … enters Dr Preston Cole, a paediatrician who is taking over from his father and who is treating Savannah’s son Trey. He has his own turbulent past, his wife left him for a surgeon and while doing it, broke his heart and his bank account … Both of them have sworn not to love again, not to marry again … and their paths collide … An Appointment is a contemporary romance filled with drama, angst, frustration, loads of misunderstandings, mystery, emotions … and second chances! At times all of the angst and drama became too much … I get that Savannah was drowning in stress but her jumping into conclusions … well … who knows … I suggest you pick up the whole series and spend hours and hours with characters that don’t leave you cold!

An Appointment is the fourth book in the Summer in New York series. It can be read as a standalone.
This book takes you through a variety of emotions as you follow Savannah and Preston through the story. Both have had their hearts broken by previous relationships so building trust is challenging. Savannah lives for her son, but has to deal with her ex because of custody arrangements. This creates some complications that could strain the budding relationship with Preston. Can both of them traverse the challenges to build a new life together?
Be aware that some of the subject matter in this story may be a trigger for some readers.

An Appointment is the fourth book in Summers in New York series by Lindsay Marie Miller. It is a contemporary romance, that has a lot of drama, tension, angst, push/pull, frustration, misunderstandings, mystery, a little suspense, emotion, and second chances. Savannah Taylor is the daughter of Austin and Amy form book #2, and niece of Claire and Benjamin from Book #1. I just love all the interconnected details like this that Ms. Miller places in her stories. It gives them an added layer of interest. The book/s could be read a standalone, but as there are recurring characters and the interconnected details, I really recommend reading the series as a whole, as having read all the books will give you a better understanding of the characters/backstories- which in turn will enhance you reading experience- not to mention that the other books are really great reads in their own rights, too. Savannah hasn’t had it easy of late, life keeps throwing her curve balls and she scrambling to keep up. Divorce has left her hurt and confused. She has vowed to never love again. The one good thing to come out of her marriage is her adorable 8 year-old son, Trey. He is her world, the light of her life. There isn’t anything she wouldn’t do for him. So, when his asthma flares up she whisks him off to the doctors. Preston Cole is a Pediatrician working in the family practice. His has been a bit of an emotional wreck since his wife left him for a surgeon. She broke his heart as well as his bank account. He loves children and had dreamed of having a family of his won- but now his dreams lay in ashes… he would never marry again. But what happens when a feisty, protective mamma bear attracts him from the moment he lays eyes on her? Will she be able to overcome her fears and take a chance on love? What happens when insecurities bleed into their relationship? Will it drive them apart, for good? Grab yourself a copy and find out what happens. There a few surprising developments that I sure didn’t see coming! This is a sweet, sexy, sizzling, and emotive story. I did feel for the characters and their situation. BUT, there were so many parts that frustrated me to death. I felt that there was way too much push/pull, angst, added drama, misunderstandings, and erratic behaviour- especially from Savannah. I understand she was under a lot of stress, but her push-pull, erratic behaviour, and jumping to conclusions was so frustrating and completely exhausting! It just dragged on for far too long for my liking. Preston deserved a gold medal for putting up with it and remaining caring and supportive the whole while. Having said that, I am a fan of Ms. Miller’s work- I really do enjoy her imaginative and unique storylines, and I am looking forward to her next book.

An Appointment is the fourth book in the Summer in New York series from Lindsay Marie Miller, and hands down my favorite of the series so far. I really have enjoyed watching Miller’s writing grow and blossom with each and every novel in this awesome contemporary romance series. I don’t know what it is about An Appointment though, Savannah and her adorable son Tre as well as the ever dreamy Preston just stole my heart right away and ran with it until I had no choice but to put my kindle down because it was sadly over. It is also a huge attraction to me to read novels set in New York and the surrounding areas. I really just have a fascination and can’t wait to someday go back to spend more time there. For now escaping through the pages of a great book is my best bet though and this was one trip I just adored.
Savannah truly hasn’t had the best of luck in love, and honestly I didn’t one second blame her for not being so sure about Preston, no matter how desirable he was from the outside. I can relate. If you have been so badly burned before it is almost impossible to want to trust your heart to someone new. ESPECIALLY when you have a child involved in the mix. Luckily, Preston also understood her situation and unfortunately had his share of unlucky love as well. These two just lit up my kindle and I rooted for them to find that happily ever after from the get go. I was so worried because Ms. Miller sure knows how to keep her readers on their toes! So if you want to see how this turns out and if they ever do get that ending they so deserve, and what it looks like, RUN, one-click and devour this read for yourself over a great glass of wine… I guarantee you will be glad that you did! Thanks for the wonderful read Ms. Miller! Can’t wait to see what will come next!

An Appointment by Lindsay Marie Miller is the fourth book in the Summer in anew York series. This book can be read as a stand-alone. This is a great story with characters that are so enjoyable to read about. I really liked Savannah and how she was portrayed. And I loved the chemistry between her and Preston. Each interaction between them seemed to bring something new. This book, as with every book o have read by this author is one I have enjoyed from start to finish. I love getting lost in her stories and can’t wait to read more.

An Appointment was a great 5 star read and book four in the Summer in New York series. This can be read as a stand alone.
I was pulled in right from the beginning. My heart went out to Savannah as she was struggling to find out what was going on with her son and of course I was tearing up when the truth came out. The truth put her between a rock and a hard place on what her next step would be. Her ex-husbands family is very influential and could cause problems for her.
Preston is a Dr. that took over for his father, he wasn’t who Savannah expected but she didn’t have a choice, she needed someone to see her son. He was great, you could tell he cared right from the beginning. He connected so well with both Savannah and her son, who I loved.
Both of them have sworn off relationships but there is something drawing them together, you could feel the chemistry coming off the pages. Can these two put their walls down and let each other in? Can they have a HEA?
Overall I really loved this story. All of the characters were great. This really touched my heart in several ways. Lindsay Marie Miller does a great job of pulling you right in with her writing. You won’t want to stop until your done. I highly recommend this book and series. 1-click and get started today.

An Appointment written by Lindsay Marie Miller is book 4 in the Summer in New York Series. This story mad me sad, if you’ve ever second guessed yourself, your past relationships or had that one person in your life who put you down instead of helping build yourself up then you can relate to this story. Savannah is trying to be strong for herself and her son Trey but she is stubborn and feels like it’s something she needs to do alone. But once she realizes it’s okay to ask for and receive help her life starts looking up. And her biggest hurdle of all, moving on.

An Appointment (Summer in New York Book 4) by Lindsay Marie Miller
Four Stars
Ugh! Can I get a puke bag please. Lindsay Miller if Savannah doesn’t want Preston I will take him. The man is perfect in the most imperfect ways. Lord if you’re listening send me a big man like Preston lol. I really couldn’t decide if I wanted to fight Savannah or cry for her. Divorce is really hard and it takes something away from you that you never truly get back. I haven’t found it but I haven’t given up either. She just refused to try and wasn’t being fair to Preston. I don’t understand why people feel like children need two parents to be happy. Is it amazing when both parents are there and helping raise the child? Yes! But it’s also proven that a child can be just as happy with only one parent. I almost dropped my phone a few times when Savannah question herself about Trey’s father. If this was me Kevin would be swimming with the sharks. I really did enjoy the story though. It mirrored my life a lot. I truly related to some of the situations. I couldn’t get enough of Preston and Trey. They made the book perfect.
