Master Romano was a little slow to get started but the first two chapters were mainly to introduce characters and the plot it was all necessary to the story. Once it got started I didn’t want to put it down. I read it in about a day and a half. I loved Romano, his crew, and the banter between the vampires but one thing I couldn’t shake for some reason was Raven’s naivety and how immature she felt as a character. Like, she’s still in school, rebellious, should she really be having this type of relationship with a vampire? Maybe it was needed for the story to progress because her being so trusting and naïve becomes a point in the story when the vampires begin pointing fingers in her direction for betraying them because she gave everything up so easily. Overall it was a quick read that I really enjoyed.

Romano is part of a long line of master’s who have dealt with dealings for year’s but when he is entrusted to sort out the centuries old land feud with the witches what could go wrong. Well, that’s until he meets the one witch who can bring down his walls and possible the consulate.
Raven is from a longline of witches, driven to get back what was taken from them centuries ago, determined to help the coven with trying to get close to the Vampires can she get what is rightfully hers and the covens. Although determined she was not expecting to have feelings towards one of the men that she had vowed to destroy.
This is the fourth book in this series, you can read this book comfortable as a standalone as each book in the series follows on of the master vampires, although some of the other book overlap there is enough detail within the book to be able to follow the story comfortably.
This is not my usual genre I read but after being recommended the first book I could not out it down, this book is just the same. I have to say the writing draws you in and makes this world believable and as you engage with the characters, I feel that you are a part of the story and world.
I love the push and pull between the two main characters was just great to read, they complement each other brilliant. This is my favourite book so far; I loved the character of Raven being so strong willed and determined to prove that she could follow her conviction and also try to understand the feelings she had towards Romano, a man she was brought up to hate.
I can’t wait to read the next instalment in this series.

The Victor is an emotional and heartfelt contemporary romance and a short read but not lacking for its shortness. This stunning story will stay with you long after you read it, it did for me. I loved the characters but not right from the start.
All Ava wanted was love and thought she found it but it was too good to be true. Now she just wants to close the chapter and be able to move on with her life BUT Cole has other ideas. Is she willing to go along with him to get what she wants or will she walk away?
Cole will stop at nothing to get what he wants so he has come up with a pan. Now it just has to work BUT part of the problem is the secrets behind the Freemasons. My father-in-law was a Freemason and I know how secrets can lead to distrust

This was a good 4 star read. Of course the synopsis pulled me in, I had to see just how this story went and I wasn’t disappointed. This was a fun romantic comedy that once you start you won’t want to put it down. I really enjoyed Marissa and Weston’s story.
Of course these two have a history. And when Weston returns to Postscript Island things come rushing back to Marissa. Weston is determined to get Marissa back, what will she do when she learns the truth? Will she let him back into her heart?
This was a great story. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. The author does a great job with her writing and pulls you right in. This can be read as a standalone. If you are looking for a good read, 1-click and get started today. I look forward to reading more from this series and author.

I love shifter books and this is my first AMBW story that include panda shifter and a mage. The chemistry between Ryker and Wednesday is out of this world.
What happens when best friends love each other since forever? This is Wen and Ryker…. best friends whom love each other to the core. When feelings come more to the surface and outright open it can cause heartache and caution. Wen loves Ryker but does not have the heart to tell him…as she feels like she is not truly Ryker’s “mate”. When Ryker’s feeling come out into the open how much he truly loves Wen……at first Wen is hesitant believing since she is not a shifter they are not meant to be…. When both sets of parents embark on setting them both up on a “Paris in Springtime” Cruise for singles….this sets the tone of the love between Ryker and Wen.
This story was so much fun to read….and the spice level is totally “WOW” and some funny moments. Fantastic Book!! Very highly recommended!

I’ve read a couple billionaire romance and loved each one of them and this was no different. Being the first book of the Billionaire Blind Dates Series I was not at all disappointed.Toni Denise is an excellent writer. She really holds your attention and makes you feel their emotions. I can’t wait to read all of the other friend’s stories to see what their matches are going to be like. In this book we see the first one of the group Jake go on a blind date with Lauren. They are both amazing characters, who are perfect for each other. I highly recommend this book.

This was a book that was extremely hard to put down. I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen with Jake and his blind date but the drama happening with one of the other guys and his company.
Jake came across as one of the good guys from the beginning. Did use his wealth as an excuse to be rude or act better than everyone which made me like him more.
Lauren was extremely relatable for me. I seem to have a soft spot for female characters with complicated relationships with their Mom and Lauren definitely has that.
I’m wasn’t sure what I was getting into with this book since she’s a new to me author but she didn’t disapoint. There were so many things I enjoyed about this book. I can’t decide if it was when Jake defended Lauren or Cade. All of the characters are great and I look forward to a long relationship with this group. Now to patiently wait for the next book.

This novel is the first in a mafia series about a group of highly privileged and devastatingly handsome men, your typical mafia romance, with an interesting twist.

It’s actually “blind dating”. The women he meets will only get to know him by the sound of his voice and the connect they can hopefully form without all the money and good looks involved. Terrific book, loved the “blind dating spin”! It’s pretty relatable as a strong independent woman myself to put myself in Lauren’s shoes and see where her hesitancy comes from. On the flip side I have been in a position that I would akin to jakes and sometimes it’s hard to convince yourself that people can be good and different.
The author wrote this book well, the characters are totally lovable, I laughed, I cried, I yelled in frustration, all and all definitely exceeded what I wanted to get out of this read. Cannot wait to follow the stories of the other billionaire baddies featured in this novel!

A Love Restrained is a contemporary, suspense romance about two people who had a short highschool history together, but find each other again years later. Kylee Parker is a Philadelphia police officer who loves her job. While observing the streets, she sees a drug deal go down and chases down the dealer. While she is trying to arrest him, she recognizes that voice, Jayson Donovan, the boy who broke her heart in highschool. Jayson is quite excited to be getting arrested by her, because what she doesn’t know is that he had always had a thing for her and the fact that her heart was broken was a lot of misunderstandings. Jayson was abused and had a rough home life, but he did have a savior! After being arrested by Kylee, Donovan sees this as his chance to make amends and go after what he has always wanted, so he sends her different plants and flowers, with a note asking her to dinner. Kylee is cautious but can’t seem to eventually keep saying no. That original yes turns into the two of them dating and falling for each other. However, Donovan’s past is sad, complicated, and his present seems to go against all of her morals. Can all of his past and the secrets of his present continue in their relationship or will it eventually ruin this beautiful love story? I really enjoyed this story. As a person who works in the field of psychology, it was great to see just how much love, even from strangers, can change the course of someone’s life within this story. I thought the flow of the story made you feel like you were walking through their life. While on this “walk”, you could feel all the things they were going through, the ups, the downs, the love, the secrets, etc. However, at no point in time did I ever not like one of the main characters, even through the hardship. Just the way the information was presented you felt like something was going on you couldn’t put your finger on, but knew it would work out in the end (I am not really sure why, it has been a while since I felt that in a book). You truly feel for each of these characters at all the twists and turns that the story takes you on. I was actually pretty surprised, in some sense, about how the story turned out.

Greer’s life has been turned completely upside down. Her mom has fallen in love and has moved her into a mansion across town. This sounds like it would be the dream situation almost a rags to riches situation. Not if you are beginning your senior year of high school, like Greer is. She has to change her school and her friends. Instead of going to public school, she is going to go to the most expensive private school in the area. Truthfully she can’t believe all this is happening to her. On top of having a sort of dad she also has a sort of step brother. Who she can’t stand and is fascinated with all at the same time. Beckett is also in his senior year of high school. And he has gained a home with two women. He doesn’t trust Greer’s mom and truthfully doesn’t trust Greer. But as the school year starts, he begins to question if Greer is actually as sweet and innocent as she appears. Maybe Greer’s motives are completely innocent. There is no denying there is something between Greer and Beckett. But what is it? Beckett is determined to destroy Greer’s high school year. Greer is determined to make the best of it in an attempt to show support for her mom. This book was truthfully very good. I loved the character of Greer. I thought she was very realistic. Definitely pick up this quick read!

I enjoyed reading this second chance romance story. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites yet. I enjoy how the author used details and her writing skills to bring life to the story. This story is no different. This is a well written story that is full of romance and hard to put down. The characters are strong and keep the story engaging. They have great chemistry and growth throughout the story. It is an emotional story in parts which just added to the story. This is a fast paced story that is hard to put down. A story about two people who may get a second chance at their marriage. You don’t want to miss what happens with them. It is a great easy story to read. I highly recommend this book.

What an adorable romcom. Marissa is a painter about to embark on opening her gallery and Weston is a billionaire condominium manufacturer (yes there is plenty of jokes in the book!) who comes home to help his mom sell her shop. Of course something seems shady so Westin sticks around to investigate, which means he’s gets to be close to Marissa for a little bit longer. They have a trouble past but working towards the common goal of figure out who is wanting to buy up all the shops on the island will help them figure some things out!

I loved The Victor! It gave me all kinds of feels. I only wish it was longer. I want more of Cole and Ava in my life. I also can’t wait for the continuation of the series. Ava is the character most women can relate to. Likable, insecure, strong willed. When she ends up with the man of her dreams she still believes it’s too good to be true. So she asks for a divorce instead. One problem, Cole tells her no! Thinking she’s doing what’s best to release a trapped man, she has no idea how deep she slices him with her request. Cole unequivocally loves Ava but he’s never been vocal about it. Wanting his actions to speak for him. Now this is their problem. They don’t communicate. They close up everything inside. Will they ever move forward? The author gives you a fast paced romance with a lot of substance and obstacles. Keeps you rooting for Ava and Cole to make it work. So time to jump on the roller coaster ride and into The Victor. A second chance romance, that’s slightly different from ones I’ve read before. I think you will feel the same!

Burn is the first book in the Elemental Warriors series. This was a really good read. The story was captivating from the very beginning. I loved the immediate attraction between Levi and Brooke but also how the secrets start to unravel in regards to Levi been an Elemental and Brooke a Sleeper.
Levi is an Elemental who’s job is to protect earth from Chaos. He is also tasked with finding Sleepers (humans with Elemental powers). He need to find and protect them before they fall into the hands of Chaolt. Chaolt are out to find the Sleepers and use their hidden power to destroy and cause chaos in the human world.
The attraction between Levi and Brooke is instant but Elementals aren’t allowed to get involved with humans and with the added complications of Brookes hidden power it’s a relationship that is doomed to not work. However she seems to be the cool water to his scorching fire.
It was a fast paced story full of passion however its also a story of Forbidden Love as they aren’t meant to be together. Levi’s job is to protect her from evil not to fall in love with her.
I can’t wait to see where this series will go. And I’m looking forward to book 2

Marissa and Weston have been best friends since kindergarten, and fell in love. Five years ago, unexpected news rattled them and they broke up. Weston left the island they lived on and hadn’t returned to visit. That changes when his mom asks for his help. Their first time seeing each other… does not go well.
Marissa and Weston have obvious chemistry. I liked Weston and Marissa, though both seemed a bit naive to me. The entire cast of characters is interesting, but a few things fell flat. The story is a bit predictable, and some of the characters were odd and not quite realistic – like Weston’s staff’s over-the-top insistence on putting slippers on Marissa or feeding her. That being said, I enjoyed the story and there were many parts that were funny. It is the perfect beach read.

Cam has finally settled down into his new life on Lewis. Going back to their private hot springs within a cave, Cam is unexpectedly pulled down into an antipode and transferred to another domed island called Lewis. On Lewis, he is still struggling over losing Freyja and decides to go looking for her, only to be told that she was with a man from Lewis and was pregnant. Upon his second arrival to Lewis, Cam married and started a family with Laetitia, the sweet schoolteacher that he had been living with. Unlike on August, Cam is surrounded by friends and people who care for him on Lewis. Then tragedy strikes and Laetitia, pregnant with their second child, goes missing. Cam, teamed up with now found Freyja and a few other Lewis residents, embark on a journey to find her and the other missing women. Cam once again finds himself in turmoil upon losing yet another wife. The Liminal Space is just as loveable as Antipodes. Full of emotions that leaves the reader reeling and wanting more, I would not change a single part of it. Characters are still relatable and new enemies are found. Some mysteries are solved while new ones arise. The Liminal Space will leave its readers on the edges of their seats the entire time. If you loved The Liminal Space, look for the third book in the series Ouroboros.

Friends with Benies is highly entertaining and a quick read. It is an AMBW Paranormal Romance tale that is funny and sexy. I found myself laughing throughout this adventure. This is my first time reading anything by T.B and I really enjoyed it and her writing style. Included is a bonus chapter that makes you smile.
This is Ryder and Wednesday’s story. They are BFF’s wanting so much more but getting out of their own way at times would be a good thing if they could see what is right in front of them.
I didn’t realise this is the seventh book and as such I have not read the other books in the Paris in Springtime series but I will be going back to them if they are as good as this one.

Burn is the first book in the Elemental Warriors series and debut novel by Joanna Morgan. This is a fantastic paranormal romance with plenty of originality, danger, Elemental warriors facing off against a powerful supernatural adversary, action, adventure, mystery, intrigue, tension, intensity, chemistry, steam, and agendas. I was drawn to the book by the interesting cover and the fact the blurb promised something a little different in paranormal romance… and, to be honest, Ms. Morgan had me at Elementals. So, I didn’t waste a minute and grabbed a copy and began to immediately explore. I was soon immersed in an exciting story that pulled me in and kept me flipping the pages, avidly reading to discover how things would play out. I loved the creative and original world-building, it really added an extra element of interest to the whole story for me. The whole Elemental Warriors, Sleepers, Chaolt thing was really well done and had me invested right from the opening passages. I think this book sets the series off to a fantastic start and I can’t wait to get my hands on Book #2! If you love paranormal romance you will definitely want to grab a copy of this book to explore. Jake went on blind date. His friend set him up on blind date with one of their friends. The first date was okay. Jake and his date kept talking everyday. One day Jake went to visit his friend Luke where his date works. Lauren is Luke’s assistant and needs to do something for Luke . Lauren texted Jake and his phone went off so she knew he was her blind date. You have read the rest of the book to see what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Wow, do I ever like the change of pace. I have watched shows before where different elements are brought into the picture, but this is one of the first novels I’ve read with this take on magic/paranormal aspect within their pages. I absolutely love Brooke’s character throughout, but especially as she’s becoming comfortable in her own skin, and owning her person. She has just met some of her life goals when things get a little steamy, so to speak, and Levi enters into the story.
The character development was wonderful, slow, yet addictive and delightful with every sentence, and I really felt as though I was experiencing the whirlwind of emotions both main characters felt. This author is a new one for me, and I will be sure to read more of her skilled writing soon, especially the next installment in this series. Highly recommend, well worth a read!

Book 1 – Try Easy Fans of Vactation Romances and a good love triangle this is the book for you. In 1968 Mary “Lou” Hunter wants to be a photographer in Seattle. She gets the opportunity of a lifetime when she lands a free trip to Hawaii.
Keoni is a surfer.
During Mary’s trip to Hawaii they have a fling but things aren’t as simple as two people falling in love. Things get complicated as it is not 2 people in this relationship but 3.
Mary must decide if her dream is still Seattle or if she wants to take risk and stay in Hawaii.
Book 2 – Try Me Fans of Fake Relationships Turned Real will Enjoy This One thing I enjoyed about this book is I feel I can take surfing off my bucket list. This book focused on surfing so much I felt like I was doing it myself.
Surfing is how two of our main characters Declan and Peal get to know each other. They admire one another for their skill. Declan unable to handle his friends death flees Hawaii but comes back for a competition and that is the setup of the novel.
As Declan heads back home he must face what has happened.
Pearl doing her best to fulfill her mothers dream of becoming a famous female surfer does everything she can to get her name out there. Including fake dating fellow surfer Declan.
Book 3 – Try Right This is a friends to lover; Celebrity Romance Claudia hanging on to her career but her nails doing her best to not be a has been. Her career gets a much needed rescue with a tv show in Hawaii and there she meets her long time friend Henry.
Henry is a stuntman the best in the business but when he runs into Claudia he has to tell himself to not do anything stupid. Being the best in the business he has to struggle with himself as he continues to tell himself his career is not worth jeopardizing over her.

This is the first book of the modern-day fairy tale series and I fell in love with it immediately. The book immediately captured my attention from the very first page and I was not able to put the book down until I had finished it. This is also the first book that I have read from the author and I wasn’t disappointed. Ashley Adams doesn’t have time for haters. Already too busy dealing with dead bodies after her stepmother purchased a mortuary, she is ready to put the lid on her judgmental peers and finally bury her high school experience. Falling in love was the last thing on her mind. Too bad fate had other plans when the local celebrity lands in her life. Pop sensation Harry James is ordered by the court to attend public school for his senior year or face jail time. He can’t afford any bad press if he wants his summer tour to go ahead. After the first one is a disaster…he’s not even sure he wants to go on the second one. But, when he does, there is a spark. An impromptu meeting with one of his best friends reveals who the mystery woman is. He wants to see where things will go…so why does she seem so disappointed?
Lauren enjoys being an independent woman who pays her own way in the world. After a series of events (including a horrible roommate) ends with her becoming roommates with her boss’s sister…Lauren finds herself being talked into trying a new blind date app. She goes on the date but is still hesitant…until she finds out (by accident) who the mystery man is. She has a hangup with being labeled a gold-digger…and it is something that plagues her every decision. Can she let go and just live in the moment? Or will her fear stop her from exploring what could be her happily ever after?
I enjoyed this story. Both Jake and Lauren were great characters….who am I kidding?…all the characters in the book are great (minus everyone’s parents!). Lauren’s insecurities and hangups were felt coming off the pages…and I loved that Jake was able to quiet those fears over time. I’m sure I will be checking out the next book because I am now invested in this group of friends!!

Oh goodness, this being the final book in the series is bittersweet and good. I have read this series from the start. It has been one of my favorites. I have come to love following the adventures of Cam and Freya during this time. As their journey is slowing in this book, I find the drama and adventure still just as exciting and gripping as it was in the first book. The author has tied up all the loose-ends every well. Everything is being wrapped up so you almost feel like you are sending off a friend. This series has really shown how these kids worked together to get through hard times, especially during the pandemic, which basically wiped out the world. The series should us a lot lot courage, bravery, and strong men and women. I would definitely recommend reading these books in order.
