Grosse Pointe by Natalie Barnes was a good 4 star read. This is a historical mafia romance set in the 20’s. It took a bit to get used to the irish dialect. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing.
This is Brek’s story, he uses his memories of Gabriella to help him get through some difficult times. We get a mixture of prohibition and mafia danger. When Brek was 15 he traveled to the US, he gets involved in the alcohol and drug scene. The relationship he has with Gabriella is a huge emotional rollercoaster.
Can these two geta HEA?

Tidal Love was such a good book. Its my first time reading KM Lowe, but I can’t wait to read more. I didn’t want to put it down- literally… read the entire book within 24 hours. I liked that it was more than just a romance story. The story has its fair share of drama, and each character has a background heartbreaking story. While the story tells about Harleigh and Giovanni, we also learn about their brothers and parents. The story is quite graphic and emotional, and might be a sensitive topic, as it has physical, verbal and sexual abuse. But Harleigh breaks free, and her family sends her on a trip to Bulgaria, so she has time to find herself and relax. The little town is pretty magical and the author does an amazing job of describing it. We experience it along with the characters. Both Giovanni and Harleigh have heartbreak in their past, and make them hesitant to trust and love again. But they have an instant attraction and I loved watching their vacation romance blossom. The end of the book turned out somewhat what I expected, although I wasn’t sure of the details. For some it may catch off guard. Highly recommend this book and can’t wait to read more by Lowe. Wonderful author!

I loved reading the book Bishop’s Gambit (Redclaw Origins Book 2) by McKenna Dean. It is a story that includes mystery and danger. It is a book that had me hooked from the very beginning. I loved the characters of Rhett Bishop and Peter Knight. Rhett is a woman who is intelligent and independent. She is not the type you would think of posing as a housewife. However, that is what her current assignment is. I love that Rhett is someone that takes action when she needs to and can defend herself when need be. I also love her little dog. Peter is a man who at times gets caught up in his work. He does have feelings and an attraction to Rhett. What will Rhett and Peter find in the suburbs? What does the future hold for them? Read this book to find out. This story had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. There are twists to the story that I didn’t see coming. The author does an amazing job of making both the story and the characters come alive. I found myself caring about Rhett and Peter with each chapter that I read. Don’t miss out on an exciting and entertaining story that I was not able to put down until the final page. I highly recommend reading this book.

The Spicetopia Series by Phoebe Alexander is a collection of four stories following the characters who are involved in the theme park, Spicetopia and are a great read for those who like a bit of spice in there story.
Sugar and Spice – This is the first book in the series and follows Cy and Jolie. Cy is the Heir to the Spicetopia franchise but when a suggestion that Cy becomes a undercover boss in the theme park, what could go wrong?
Jolie is a single mother working two jobs to make ends meat, but when a new employee catches her eye will she be able to resist this fascinated character.
This story is full of romance and passion. I love the character of Jolie she was strong and Independent which is a challenge for any man. With them both having their secrets it makes a great read. You just are willing these two people along and hoping that when these secrets are revealed it will not end in disaster.
Virtue and Vice – This follows the relationship of Moon and Katja, there story weaves and you get to see the history of there love and there passion which drives them. This is a seriously steamy story and is full of action, although this does not distract from the beautiful story of these two great characters.
Fire and Ice – This story involves Neve and Enya is a story of opposites attract.
Neve is the head of security for Spicetopia but when he has to follow the Head of Media on a press tour he is not happy but will Enya get under the skin of this gruff man.
Enya is the Media guru within Spicetopia but when they insist she has security with her will she be able to survive working with Neve the grumpy security man.
This story is full of action, with twists and turns it is a great story. These two characters are brilliant together and secretly this was my favourite story. They leap off the page and you will be hurrying to read each page to see find out what happens.
Naughty and Nice – This story follows Natalie a wedding planner but when Micah arrives Natalie finds herself wanting more.
Natalie has been hired to arrange a wedding and as she is planning the service in comes Micah but he is a man of the cloth and she should not be having these feeling regarding him but oh boy.
Micah is the offciate who will marry the two lovely people but when he decides to arrive a few days early to get the lay of the land will he be able to be professional or will a certain wedding planner be a distraction.
This book was lovely, as this book is about the characters in the story and that Micah although he is a man of the cloth but he is a hot blooded male he tries to resist the beautiful siren in Natalie. These two have a great relationship with each other and its a great lovely story of battling head over heart.
This is a great series and really enjoyed reading each story with each one having a different theme and relationship. I have read many Phoebe Alexander books and I love this unique topic and love the world she has created.

Spicetopia Boxed Set (Books 1-4) by Phoebe Alexander. I loved loved loved these books. Seriously this author just gets to me. Each story has characters you can’t help root for and each of the stories took a piece of my heart when I was done. I love when authors come out with box sets I just think it’s a great way for new readers to be introduced to amazing authors. And who doesn’t love having books you love all in one go? Each story pulled me in and my only complaint is that all good things have to end. And these stories will have you so sad at the end of your time with each character. But the good news is they are just as good the second time you read them. I’m giving this box set five big stars and highly recommend you going to add it to your reading list.

This boxed set contains four wonderfully addictive books. Who would have thought an adult theme park would have so much going on. Each of these books tells us a story of different couples each time. We do get to see some of the couples from the first books in the later ones. I loved each of these stories and loved all the couples involved. These books are romantic, sexy, fun, and have some drama. This author makes the adult theme park come to life so much so that I feel like it could be a real place. I was so excited to see all these wonderful stories in a boxed set. This author is truly a talented writer and I can’t get enough of this series. This is a must read, you will not be disappointed!

Sugar & Spice doesn’t even begin to describe this book. Cy has never had a “REAL” job and his family has him going uncover in the family theme park. When Cy first lays eyes on Red Velvet Queen “Jolie” he has to know more about this beautiful woman. But will this single mother be able to forgive Cy when/if she finds out who he is? All the characters were wonderful but there was just something about Cy and Jolie chemistry that made them click.
Virtue & Vice
Moon and Katja have been asked to move and help start this adult-only theme park with Cy and Jolie who they just meet, will they take the offer Cy has given them? I thought the first book was HOT but Phoebe stepped up her game in this book. These characters are great; I went into this book not knowing what was going to happen between these couples but I’m glad everything is working out between them.
Fire & Ice
Enya and Neve are not big fans of one another but when they get stuck together for work, can they make their new relationship work while working together. This sizzling fast-paced suspense will have you turning the pages and not wanting it to end. If you are like me and like your romances with side kinkiness then you need to read this series.
Naughty & Nice
It’s the wedding that we have been waiting for at Spiceopia. Natalie Roux is feeling the pressure to put on the first big event which just happens to be her boss’s wedding. But it’s the officiate Micah Greene that will have Natalie thinking naughty and not so nice thoughts. Each book in this series has brought something different but Natalie and Micah might be my favorite. There was just something about them that I couldn’t put this book down. I can’t wait to see if there will be more books for this series.

Tidal Love by K. M. Lowe was a great read! I feel like with some of the content matter though, there should be a trigger warning. Some people might find the abuse that Harleigh experienced triggering if they have been through it before. Other than that, the story was great and the characters were amazing! I was instantly drawn in, and could hardly put it down once I started reading. This is the first book I’ve read before from this author, and I wasn’t disappointed! I can’t wait to read more in the future.

This is a boxed set of four complete stories in author Phoebe Alexander’s ‘Spicetopia’ series, “where variety is the spice of life”. Spicetopia is a theme park for adults where all your fantasies can be fulfilled, created by two entrepreneurial free spirits, “Welcome to Spicetopia”. Each book introduces us to a different couple at Spicetopia. With plenty of spice and steam in the books, this series is definitely meant for readers 18+. I thoroughly enjoyed all four stories and happily ‘binge read’ the entire Boxset one book straight after another.
Book One is ‘Sugar & Spice’, and black sheep of the family Cy Sweet goes undercover in ‘Sweetopia’, his family’s theme park. Agreeing to his father’s bribe, he gets to work serving pastries in Cotton Candy Castle, one of the park’s most popular attractions. However, when he meets ‘The Red Velvet Queen’, he is tempted to blow his cover and invents numerous reasons to visit her everyday. But Cy is not the only one in disguise as the ‘Red Queen’ is really struggling single mom Jolie Cox. I loved this couple who had instant chemistry which sizzled off the page and the added undercover boss element gave the storyline added intrigue and suspense along with the romance and steamy scenes.
Book Two, and in ‘Virtue & Vice’, Spicetopia is bought to life by two sets of couples who want to create a world for adults to have fun and indulge their grown up tastes. Cy and Jolie, from book one, have experience from the kids’ theme park ‘Sweetopia’ and we are introduced to a new couple, Moon and Katja who have the technical and architectural expertise to build the two couples dream world. As well as lots of hard work the couple also enjoy lots of adult fun and neither couple agrees with denying their vices. Alexander not only sets the scene well but also creates characters which are likeable, realistic and relatable which makes the reader feel engaged with the story and the people in them. In Book Three,’ Fire & Ice’, it’s the grand opening of ‘Spicetopia’ but someone is out to sabotage the event. Director of Security, Neve Romano, and Enya Moore, the Director of Public Relations have to work together to prevent disaster but unfortunately the pair have never previously gotten along. However, finding themselves at the mercy of a madman makes them look at each other completely differently and discover more than a spark of passion between them. The storyline has a mystery and suspense feel to it and the plot has plenty of action and drama along with the romance and steamy scenes between Neve and Enya. This novel does contain more adult themes including BDSM scenes.
Book Four, ‘Naughty & Nice’, introduces us to another likeable couple who are bought together at ‘Spicetopia’, Micah and Natalie. Micah Greene was a bit unsure of what to expect when he was asked to officiate a wedding at a theme park catering to “grown-ups.” Especially as having witnessed the consequences of his brothers promiscuity and debauchery Micah has always tried to control his own naughty thoughts and desires. When he meets the official event planner Natalie Roux, however, he finds it hard to resist thinking naughty thoughts about her. Wanting to make a great first impression Natalie needs the owner’s wedding to be a big success and having an instant attraction to the minister means the event is not the only thing on her mind. Natalie knows that to pull of the holiday wedding of the century she needs to keep her hands and mouth to herself, at least until after the wedding. Another great couple with instant chemistry and a wonderfully written story with a storyline that flows well made this an easy and enjoyable read with a festive feel to it.
This is an enjoyable and engaging Boxset which is intended for adult readers as it contains adult themes. Each book can be read as a standalone story but I think the reader would get more enjoyment if the books are read in order as the couples do crossover and the backstory to ‘Spicetopia’ is given in the earlier books in the series. I recommend the boxset and look forward to book five and getting back to ‘Spicetopia’.

Spicetopia Box set was a great late night read, all 4 books have everything you want in an erotica romance with drama and hot steamy sex . This book was an easy read that I finished in a day. Despite this, Jessica Feyden’s writing style allowed me to become invested in the characters. This book was an emotional read that continued to surprise me. I loved the world-building and would definitely recommend this book.

I instantly fell in love with both characters and for separate reasons. Masters needed a getaway from the rough and tough lifestyle as he knew it and Kennedy is nothing like the leading ladies we often read about in books like these. I love that she’s a relatable tomboy but still a lady at heart. She’s capable of being a skirt but the cat and mouse chemistry between these two draw you near as seduction heats up. Their love is an unexpected gift in this book as we learn what rips them apart can bring them together. I love Brooke May’s writing and how she brings the world in her books together seamlessly.

I would like to start off by saying that Phoebe chose the perfect name for this series, it is definitely spicy! This box set is for books 1-4 of the Spicetopia series: Sugar and Spice, Virtue and Vice, Fire and Ice, and Naught and Nice, and i definitely recommend you read them all! I was hooked on Cy and Jolie’s story from the minute i started book one, it’s that good! I binged this series for HOURS, unable to put this series down for a second! 5 stars! Loved it! I never would have thought going on a trip to Bulgaria would be a beautiful, peaceful, sexy and relaxing vacation, but I was living for it! Oh my heart! It broke for Harleigh, it breaks for any woman who has to endure any type of abuse. I do think she is a strong woman to be able to take this trip and meet someone new despite going through what she did. Giovanni, had partner issues as well, his not as extreme, but still enough to make any man want to swear off women. The love and support from both families is so beautiful and the story amazing, will suck you right in. I highly recommend for any romance lover, the issues that they have to work through themselves and as a couple is really fun to watch unravel. I really can’t wait to see what happens next!

She’s No Cowgirl is actually book 5 in the My Cowboy Series and thankfully can be read as a standalone. This story is about Hunter and Kennedy. The other books in this series follow other couples and I look forward to reading about them.
Hunter and Kennedy are sweet and fun. They are young adults in the early years of college. Instead of being party animals, they both are working hard towards their dreams, him the football star and her a sports journalist. Their love story is sweet and innocent with an added bonus of their love for sports…football in particular. However, just like in sports, there is a bad play in their love story. Kennedy and Hunter must decide if the play is a game ending play for their relationship or just a little time out.
This story is easy to follow and the characters are easy to read about. Kennedy is a strong female character. In fact, both Kennedy and Hunter are strong characters overall, both determined in their choice of careers and the path to get them to their dreams.
I enjoyed this story and will read from this author again.

I love a good fantasy book and Feyden delivered with a great concept in these pages. It opens quickly and immediately leaves the reader guessing as to what is really going on with the female lead and how she might be connected to shifter, if at all. I really enjoyed this take on faeries and shifters. It is a very vivid world and one I will gladly visit again.

I love historical fiction and this one “had me at hello”. I love the time period we got to visit and loved the layers with the characters and their backgrounds. Throw in the mafia and a romance – coupled with prohibition – you know it’s going to be jam packed with amazing details. My thanks to Barnes for a great book – I truly hope to read more from you very soon!
Better To Have Loved by Christy Nicholas. This story was definitely not what I’ve come to expect from this author and I’ll be honest I loved that! This book is emotional and relatable and so very real. The author captured every single emotion felt in this story. I definitely felt a part of this story, the words just playing out in movie form in my mind. It’s hard to do reviews sometimes because there’s so much I want to say but you don’t want to give anything away or you just can’t find the right words. So I’ll tell you it’s a wonderful story that captured a piece of my heart and you should definitely go add it to you reading list. Four strong stars and highly recommended!

Tidal Love by KM Lowe. I loved this book. This is not a light read because the lead character has been thru hell and back. Harleigh’s ex was very abusive and trying to put the past behind her has been almost impossible. Going on a vacation is exactly what she needs or so she thinks. Going alone on holiday has never been something Harleigh though she would ever do but she’s trying to be brave. Giovanni is trying to get his life back on track after his ex turned into a back stabbing, cheating, witch. Focusing all his attention on his Hotel in Bulgaria he thinks he is getting over her. When he meets Harleigh he sees that’s she’s been hurt and has a wall up but feels like she might be worth the time it takes to break those walls. Spicetopia boxed set (books 1-4) by phoebe Alexander was a sexy and spicy read. The author has a great way to keep you glued to the pages. The characters that you will read about are amazing and there idea of a adult theme park is fun and entertaining. I Enjoyed all the characters in the books but cy and Jolie are my favorite, I loved them from the beginning. The things that Jolie goes through and over comes are things that I can relate to. I could read this series over and over again. I look forward to reading more books by Phoebe Alexander and if your looking for a Fun steamy and spicy read these are the books for you.. Spicetopia Boxed Set (Books 1-4) by Phoebe Alexander. I have loved all these books. They are so fun and Phoebe Alexander has become one of my favorite authors. In Book 1 Sugar & Spice, Cy Sweet whose family is the one that created Spicetopia and even though he has always been somewhat of the black sheep of the family he is sent in as an undercover boss. While there he meets Jolie a single mom who dresses up as Red Velvet Queen and he is smitten. What kind of trouble can they cook up while there? In the third book Fire & Ice we meet Enya and Neve. Enya is the park promoter and Neve is the security. Neve & Enya don’t really get along but when things get serious and dangerous sparks fly between the two. These are just my 2 favorites but I highly recommend reading these in order to really get the feel of this fun boxed set. Each book is amazing in its own right and get ready to get all hot and bothered 🙂

Playing Series 3 Book Set by Stephanie Queen. I loved this series. Its a fun sexy contemporary sports series and it is filled with fun, sexy series. They are all about bad boys, second chance romance & enemies to lovers romance. The first one is Playing for the Money and its the story of Hunter Quintanna who has a horrible reputation in the Football league. When he is sent to another team across the Country he meets his new coach’s daughter, Cat Marini and is smitten. Will they be able to resist the chemistry between them or will they risk it all? In Playing for Love its about Gabriel Wyatt who is the Quarterback for the Boston Militia team. Gabe’s life revolves around football against the wishes of his long distance girlfriend. When his girlfriends best friend Mia moves to Boston he is told to help her get settled. While helping her move he starts to find he’s attracted to Mia. What will Gabe & Mia do? Risk losing his long time girl and her best friend to be together or deny their attraction to each other? In Playing for Keeps Tate Fontanna, a linebacker for the Boston Militia is trying to lay low. He truly hates the media and stays away from them as much as possible but when his Uncle passes away and there is publicity all about it he is torn. Chloe is a sports reporter and when she shows up trying to get the scoop on his Uncle and his new contract Tate is not a fan. Once they get to know one another better will hate turn to love? The Spicetopia box set contains books one to four in the Spicetopia series by Phoebe Alexander.
An adult only theme park? Yes please! I loved the Spicetopia box set. It’s a fun and very sexy read, and let’s you escape reality for a bit of much needed entertainment. Each book in the series follows a different couple in the Spicetopia world, so can be read as a stand-alone book. However, I would highly recommend starting at book one with Cy and Jolie. These guys are in each book, and after you’ve read book one you’ll look forward to seeing them throughout the series. Cy is seriously hot, and probably my favourite character, so I was very happy to continue to follow this couple throughout. The author’s writing style really makes these books stand out for me. She writes wonderful (very sexy) characters and brings them to life. The books are funny, emotional and seriously hot! The detail throughout really helps stir your imagination and see what the author wants you to see.The unique Spicetopia idea is the icing on the cake. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone wanting to escape reality for a bit.

This is a great set of books. Each book includes its own couple, its own story and its own budding romance. The emotion in all the books is so well written that you feel and experience everything the characters do. I loved them all.
Playing for money- This story is about Hunter and Cat. Hunter is a bad boy with a reputation that isn’t truelly deserved but the only person who knows the truth is Cat. Cat is the coach’s daughter and she has been hired to keep Hunter out of trouble. Will she succeed or will the attraction between them be the failing for them both.
Playing for love- This book is a second chance romance between Gabe and Mia. Gabe is a player on the same team as Hunter. Football is his life so when his long term gf moves away he is happy to settle for a long distance relationship. However that changes when his gf’s friend Mia moves to Boston. Denise (Gabes gf) tells Gabe he needs to watch out for Mia and she also tells Mia that she needs to make sure Gabe is being faithful. Little does she realise that the attraction between Gabe and Mia will be so strong. Can they resist temptation or is having a long distance gf not an option for Gabe anymore?
Playing for keeps- This story is about Tate and Chloe and is definately an enemies to lovers story. Tate can’t stand the media after they hounded him at his uncles funeral so when he meets Chloe the hatred is there from the beginning. Chloe will do anything to get a story and when she hears rumours about Tate being injured she has to investigate. Is she biting off more than she can chew by approaching Tate? Can she win him around or will his hatred for the media continue to include her.

What a read. I really lost all track of time when I opened this book, I just got lost in it. I love when an author can just catch you from the very start and keep that hold even after you’re done with the final word. Harleigh, I just love this name, was easy to connect to and feel like you were going through it all with her. She has just left an abusive relationship, and with the help of her family, goes on a vacation where we meet Giovani. I loved reading about both of these characters and the connections I felt to both and with both were amazing. I cannot wait to read more from this talented author! All her work has now been added to must read pile!

Playing Series 3 is a set of unique stories with wonderful characters and great relationships this set is a great read.
The first story is Playing for the money – This follows Hunter who punches his coach and ends up being transferred across th country, but will this be he best decision in the end.
Catalina or Cat for short, is the coaches daughter but when a new player arrives will she be able to keep her attraction in check or will love win out.
The second story in this trilogy is Playing for Love – The story revolves around Gabe and MIa, this story is a second chance book. Gabe and Mia meet a long time ago but they were both in other relationships but Gabe has never really got her out of his system, until another chance meeting with Mia brings all the feelings back and he can’t resist her this time.
Will they able to give love a chance again?
The third and final book in this collection is Playing for Keeps – The story involves Tate who is in a slump as his Uncle and role model has just passed away but Tate feels guilty as he should have stopped him getting into the car after a couple of drinks.
Chloe is a reporter for the local newspaper and finds herself covering this event that has happened, that’s when she meets Tate and a attraction is on the cards.
I have always loved Stephanie’s writing and this does not disappoint, each story offers a great feel good factor and the characters compliment each other brilliantly. Each story is well developed and is a page turner. I would recommend this author and this series.

I thought this book was a good one! It was my first book by this author and I think it was a great place to start because I want to read more. This was a fast paced fantasy fae story about Mira and Cadoc. To be together they have alot to overcome and they have to work together to get out on top. They were awesome main characters and they really kept the story going for me. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and i would recommend this to anyone that likes a good fantasy story! Happy ready!

The Spicetopia Boxed Set: Books 1-4 by Phoebe Alexander was a great read! If you like steamy erotica with an incredible storyline, you need to get this collection! I’ve read the 4th and 5th books in this series before in the past, but I haven’t gotten to read the 1st-3rd until now and I was not disappointed! This is an amazing collection to have, and Alexander never disappoints when it comes to steam and story! I already knew the base line for the main story, but once I started reading this collection it was hard for me to stop! The characters are amazing and the storyline is great. This is definitely a series you don’t want to miss out on!
