I am beginning to repeat myself with each review on books in this series…

What a great, quick read that is well written and took me on an adventure full of all the things that make this series wonderful.

There is so much that is just right about this series. The characters are well developed and no personality is wasted. It is a about friendships and frenemies and everything in between.

This is book 3 of the series and while it may be able to be read as a stand-alone, i think it would be better to read them in order.

Great book, great series, great author.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I give The Vampire Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 3) by Brandi Elledge, 5 stars.
*This review contains spoilers from previous books in the series.*

Tandi is now a vampire. Yes, it is what she wished to happen in case of her death, but she has no idea how to cope. She has been moved away from the only place she knew, and is far from her best friend. She knows it’s for the best and only temporary, but still. Not to mention that she seems to be a horrible vampire, she can’t do anything right. She even has the hot vampire prince to train her. He is sexy as hell she has an attraction to him but he doesn’t seem to have any interest. What is she supposed to do?

When another vampire faction attacks, she realizes just how serious this impending war really is. She gets down to business and decides to help the good guys. Can she become what is expected of her? There are many who will do anything to get in her way, but she is now determined. Little does an she know just how much she will learn about herself on the way. With the help of her friends, just maybe things will work out.

I loved Tandi in the previous book and was so happy to see her as the main character in this book. She is just as girly and spunky as I remembered too! She makes such a great lead. But she has faults too, which makes her even better. She learns a lot and quickly adapts throughout the story. The other characters in the book are great too. Note to the author: I really what to see more of Tracker in upcoming books, her was so my favorite secondary character! The story itself is interesting and pulls you in. There were many twists and turns that I did not see coming. There was action, along with romance, heartache and even humor thrown in to make a complete story. It can be read as a standalone, but you will know more if you read the previous books first.

If you like paranormal romance or urban fantasy with a great story and characters, this series and book is for you.

The Vampire Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 3) by Brandi Elledge is the next amazing book in this remarkable series. Each book builds upon the overall story/theme of the series and is exquisitely written. The Vampire Queen is Stephan and Tandi’s story, as supporting characters in previous book(s), I couldn’t wait to read this next epic tale to include Stephan who has captivated my attention from the first book. As we delver more and more into the overall paranormal dynamic of this world, more truths, lies, and unknowns are discovered. I could not put down this story as Brandi Elledge has built such an unbelievable sequences of events that you had to immediately unfold to see what was around the next corner. There are hilarious and serious moments in this novel and Tandi is by far such a fearless female lead with her strong personality. I applaud the author and am anxiously awaiting the next book(s) in this amazing series!!

The Vampire Queen (Wheel Of Crowns Book 3) by Brandi Elledge

5-stars

The Vampire Queen is book three in this amazing and exciting series. It cannot be read as a standalone and picks up where book two ends. The novels main characters are Tandi and Stephan who are originally introduced in the first two books. Tandi is turned into a vamp by Stephan, the Prince of Vampires, and has a uniqueness not seen in other vamps. She has more of her humanity in place still. An old flame of Stephans, who happens to be the Queen of Vampires, becomes jealous of her and sets out to cause trouble why the two work to avenge the death of a friend and find one of the coveted keys.

Tandi was a magnificently created character. I loved her witty comments and her personality. Stephan was portrayed as tough but that seemed to be a front to hide his feelings for Tandi. I immediately did not like the queen. She fit the antagonist role well.

This novels storyline was easy to follow and the setting for every scene was descriptive and engaging. I think this book is my favorite thus far. I look forward to more in this series.

The Vampire Queen is the third installment in this funny and thrilling series. Tandi is a great character that made me laugh in public way too much. These stories are full of adventure and sweet romance, but I also think that they are empowering. That’s what I love about this genre, it shows you that you can be flawed but that those flaws don’t define you. That strength comes in all forms and sometimes it’s the people we least expect who surprise us the most. This book proved to be just as enthralling as the previous two and the only problem that I do have with this book is, it didn’t give any hint as to who the next queen will be. I’m way too eager to see what unfolds in the quest to save the world.

By: Brandi Elledge
My Rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Vampire Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 3) by Brandi Elledge was a hooking read, that had me flipping the pages. Who needs seep?

Not my first read by this author or in this series, so when this book was released I snatched it out. Just so you know though these books are part of a series, they can be read as standalones, and out of order. So if you haven’t read the other books, you got no worries about spoilers or feeling lost.

I have to say, this instalment has probably been the best so far. I loved the opening, and the MC was witty, fun an a little bit of a goof. I think if I was a vampire we’d be alike. This book felt, there, like, everything flowed nicely, the connection felt real and I believe the author found their stride with this book. Not that the other books aren’t as good, it’s just this one, was polished, and shiny. (I highly suggest the other books BTW).

Overall this book was as I said, fun, detailed, and smooth. If you’re looking for a good unique, quirky vampire read, then I highly suggest you gets your hands on this truly one of a kind read.

Happy Reading

The Vampire Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 3) by Brandi Elledge

5 out of 5 stars

The vampire Queen is the third book in the Wheel of Crowns series written by Brandi Elledge and I have read all three books and I loved each and every one of them. The characters are well written and the plot was amazing the secondary characters and their quirkiness made the story more enjoyable. I read this book in one sitting that’s how good this book/series is.

We met Tandi in the Queen of Witches book and we met Stephen in the Queen of Werewolves. Stephen is the prince of vampires while Tandi is a human.

Tandi is now a brand new vampire she may have been killed by ghouls, but she’s determined to be the best. But her determination won’t take her very far when she won’t even kill a deer for its blood. Not to mention she’s not as subservient to her master the Prince of Vampires aka Stephen as she should be.

She also finds herself at odds with the Queen of the Vampires who wants her Prince back. Despite him being a dead hot guy, and powerful enough to have broken free of the Queen’s influence once before. So now Tandi is caught in the middle.

Can Tandi survive the queen’s plan? Will she prove herself capable of overcoming the queen’s plans for her? You will have to read this amazing book/series.

The Vampire Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 3)The Vampire Queen by Brandi Elledge
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow! How many more times can I possibly say that Brandi Elledge just continues to get better and better! Book 1 was an incredible start, exciting and a brilliant introduction Book 2 was thrilling, exciting and totally captivating from the start. This book The Vampire Queen has been incredible from start to finish.

Tandi and Stephan have now become my all-time favourite through this whole series, while the other characters in previous books have been amazing to follow, there is just something about Tandi & Stephan that has made me smile the entire read! I absolutely loved the banter and the back and forth these two had, but also the protectiveness that both of them showed each other at certain times. You could tell something would come of these two as their connection was undeniable even if they tried to ignore it when it was in plain sight.

I loved learning along with characters, especially finding out all what was beneath the surface of Tandi and her unusual behaviour towards Vampirism. I also loved reading that there was more to Stephan than what we found out in previous books, whether that was the amount of power he actually possesses and of the heartache he has had to face at the hands of the Vampire Queen.
Again Brandi Elledge has created a mentally visual read that I could picture the entire time I was reading this captivating, thrilling, suspenseful read, I can not fault the writing, the plot or the characters whatsoever. Everything about this book I loved! I once again would just love for it to have been in dual POV there were many scenes with Stephan that I needed to know what he was really thinking and feeling!

I CANNOT recommend this book enough, I loved every single bit of it! This is a book not to be missed, as well as a series that should not be missed! I can’t wait to see what else this author brings to this series and I will definitely be looking out for more of her reads.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Vampire Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 3) by Brandi Elledge is another fantastic story to this wonderful this series that I absolutely love. The paranormal fantasy world that Brandi has created speaks to you and to the struggles and triumphs these wonderful characters. Brandi’s humour never fails to make me laugh out loud. Charlie’s best friend from book two gets her own story and it is great. The mystery and the unknown, the trials and tribulations and never knowing what will happen next makes for one explosive and action packed read. This series is enthralling has you riveted to your seat. I have said before that the only thing that could make the story better is if it was told in the male POV as well, which is something I love.

Tandi is now a vampire after being killed by ghouls in book two. She has who don’t care and only her best friend as family but she has a new person in her life that she loves more than anything but when that person is taken away, she vows to hunt down those that caused it. She now finds herself in a situation of that as a major player in the war. Witches and warlocks, werewolves and vampires, demons and fae, and many others fight to the death to find the keys and destroy the evil vampire queen.

Brandi is a must have in my life and with this series. Make sure you read them in order and sit back and enjoy the thrilling ride that will have you enthralled.

I give The Queen of Witches (Wheel of Crowns Book 2) by Brandi Elledge, 4 stars.

Charlie is afraid she’s losing her mind. Weird things have been happening since she was young, but they have been escalating lately. Now on top it off, two hot strangers are in town vying for her attention. They both say they can explain what is going on with her and help her. But which one can she trust? And is there more to the story? She doesn’t realize just how much she will learn about a world she didn’t even know existed. What will she do when those she loves are threatened? Can she become what is expected of her?

This is the second book in the series. It can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading book one first because it is also so good. The characters are wonderful. They are real and funny, but serious when they have to be too. Charlie has a lot to learn quickly and she takes it on without complaint. The story is so enthralling. Once I started, I could not put the book down. Plus there were some twists thrown in that I did not see coming. This made it even better.

I highly recommend this book and cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

The Werewolf Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 1)The Werewolf Queen by Brandi Elledge
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I give The Werewolf Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 1) by Brandi Elledge, 4 stars.

Sadie is a high school senior living in a community of witches. The only thing is, she’s a null — no powers at all. Then all of the sudden strangers show up in her town and weird things start happening. People are suddenly out to get her, telling her how powerful she really is. Crazy things start happening, a man who claims he is a werewolf is so hot he’s to die for, and she learns things are not really as it seems. Can she trust this good looking man? Can she help them? Is she really this powerful? Seems like her senior year won’t be as boring as it seems.

This is a young adult novel only because of the age of the characters. But thankfully, it does not include any of those whiny teenagers that tend to plague some YA books. Being that I am far from being a young adult anymore, this is a blessing to me. The characters are fun, real, and great. I hope to see more of them in future books. The story itself is very interesting and pulls you right in. There are twists and turns that keeps you on the edge of your seat too.

Overall, I found this a very entertaining and exciting book to read and I highly recommend it.

Brandi Elledge does an amazing job the the Wheel of Crowns series and The Vampire Queen is by far my favorite. This story has everything to make this an awesome paranormal story: witches, werewolves, magical creatures, but the best of them all is the vampire. In this book, we read about Tandi a newly turned vampire who is just trying to fit in. There are layers to her and I love her story, especially when Stephen enters into the picture. Stephen is an ancient vampire price who has taken Tandi to assist her to become a vampire a little less confusing. That lasted until the Queen of Vampires wants Stephen for herself. Will Tandi become a great vampire with the help of Steven or will the Vampire Queen interfere?

I have been eagerly waiting to read the third instalment to this series and I was not disappointed at all! Again it was another amazing 5 star read and one that I loved reading from beginning to end.
I adored Tandi – she was a fantastic character. She made me laugh and I wasn’t expecting that from a paranormal story, I loved the fact that she wasn’t very good at being a vampire! I loved the forbidden kind of romance feel to the story; it almost felt a little fairy tale like in parts which I LOVED!! The Prince of Vampires – oh my gosh was he hot or what? Even I wanted to be a vampire!! I loved the attraction between them and the storyline that came from this attraction! I loved the twists and turns in the story – absolutely fantastic read!
I thought that book 2 was my favourite in the series but now I cannot make up my mind between that one and this book! This really was a fantastic read and I cannot recommend it highly enough! I think it’s safe to say Ms Elledge is definitely one of authors to go to for great paranormal reads and I cannot wait to read more form her again in the future.

I loved Tandi from her first appearance so I can’t even describe how happy I was when I found out she had her very own story. She’s my favourite character of the series which also makes this book my favourite so far, which is saying something because I loved the first two.

Tandi’s story is just as action-packed and detailed as the first two books but with the added bonus of her sarcastic and witty humor which had me laughing out loud.

Rated 5 stars!!!

First of all…..Did you see that gorgeous cover!? If not take a sec. I’ll wait. Go back up and have a look! Dazzlingly Beautiful right? I Love…love…Loved this story! I have been waiting for Stephens story since we met him in the first book! I was NOT disappointed! His and Tandi’s story was perfect! I love her for him! Her sass and determination along with the way she irritates Stephen. He is always Mr Cool but there is that fire in his eyes that she seems to bring out. Usually I favor the male in the story. But Tandi is pretty high up there as well.

Tandi’s thoughts on Stephen are hilarious! I love what goes on in her brain. I can easily hear her talking in all her sarcasm in my head. I sometimes wish I could listen in on Stephens thoughts through this process. I can only imagine what would go on in his brain!

This is as full of wonderful characters as the other two in the series. I enjoy the evil ones because I never know what they are going to do next! I’m talking to you Akeldama! But there are many others that put a smile on my face and happiness in my heart.

These books just keep getting better and better! I don’t even want to put this one down!! This is one of my favorite series of the year! Next please!!

The Vampire Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 3)The Vampire Queen by Brandi Elledge
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Vampire Queen is the third book in the Wheel of Crowns Series by Brandi Elledge. It’s a completely riveting, action-packed paranormal fantasy- with vampires, witches, werewolves, psychics, soothsayers, supernatural creatures, magic, fate, missing keys, bloody battles, intensity, drama, changes, discoveries, chemistry, friendship, different factions, hidden agendas, twists, jaw dropping revelations, and so much more.
We met Tandi in the previous book, as she is Charlies best friend- and who has only recently been ‘turned’. But she’s not your average fledgling vampire. We discover there is so much more to her, and her new ‘condition’ than we could have ever guessed. And adding Stephen to the mix makes for some spellbinding reading!
Stephen is an ancient vampire prince, who looks like he’s only in his early 20’s. He’s powerful, and broody- with a sexy ‘bad-boy’ vibe. He’s taken Tandi under his wing to help her adjust to the vampire world. So, what happens when the vengeful and conniving Queen of Vampires decides she wants Stephen for herself? What about Stephen and Tandi’s quest for one of the missing keys? What happens when feeling become involved? Squeeeee- I really can’t recommend this book/series highly enough. It really deserves to be read!!!
This book was so great- it’s funny, emotive, exciting, fast-paced, intense, touching, romantic, and just plain incredible. The story is told from Tandi’s perspective, which I loved- but I really wanted to hear Stephens take on it all, too- that would have taken the story to a whole new level. As would exploring Tandi and Stephen’s chemistry in greater detail!!
All the characters are superb- so cleverly crafted and all adding their own mark on the story. Tandi is definitely my spirit animal- I just loved her. Stephen is definitely book boyfriend material- sigh. And Tracker really stole the show- he really cracked me up!
As I have said numerous times now, Ms. Elledge is a gifted storyteller, excelling at original, and intricately detailed world building- easily bringing her stories to life. Sheer brilliance!!! Without a doubt, one of my favourite series, ever!!
And, I seriously CAN NOT WAIT FOR MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bravo, and thank you Ms. Elledge!

I love the paranormal fantasy world Brandi has created and am drawn to the struggles and triumphs these wonderful characters are faced with. I love the humour that makes me laugh out loud, the mystery of not knowing what is coming next and the faith these paranormal creatures have in themselves and those that mean something. I really enjoyed book 1 in this series so I was really looking forward to jumping in to book 2 and I wasn’t disappointed at all. It still had everything I loved from book 1, the great storyline, the great writing style, an interesting plot and great characters – in fact I think I liked this book ever so slightly more than the first. It was a fast paced read that was full of action that definitely had me turning the pages as quick as I could just so I could find out what was going to happen next. Again the richly described scenery meant I felt like I was right there in the story with the characters.
I really liked Charlie and felt a great connection with her straight away. This author definitely knows how to create fantastic female leads that are a pleasure to read about. The attraction between Charlie and Jamison was undeniable and I enjoyed following their story.
I am REALLY looking forward to reading the third book in this series! I just know it’s going to be just as good as books 1 and 2!

I like that each book focuses on someone new but it has the old and familiar characters there to help you follow along. Like with the first book, the characters are people I just want to be around, for the most part anyway, they make me laugh, and yes they make me cry just a little. This book was thrilling yet sweet and by the time I finished it, I couldn’t wait for the next chapter in this epic journey.

Since Charlie’s her 18th birthday, strange things have been happening around her—like randomly starting fires or turning things to ice and she is afraid. But things are about to get even weirder. Two handsome guys show up looking for her they both wish to help her while the other wants her to help him look for something.

Charlie discovers more than she could have suspected she’s a witch. This explains all the weird things she’s been doing something that’s confirmed when she’s kidnapped and forced to put on a wedding dress to marry a powerful warlock.

And if Charlie thinks avoiding a wedding is the biggest of her problems, she has another thing coming. Many things coming actually. Because she’s made the Prince of Hell mad as well, as hell. And, with a bunch of his evil chums, he’s coming for her.

She’d better hope she masters the whole ‘turning things to ice’ magic pretty fast. And that the Werewolf can track her down. Because staying in hell is exactly like it sounds. And getting out might just take more than she can give.

I really enjoyed this book/series…. I highly recommend this book/series…

The Queen of Witches (Wheel of Crowns Book 2) by Brandi Elledge

5-stars

The Queen of Witches is another phenomenal paranormal read by Brandi Elledge. It’s the second book in the Wheel of Crowns series, a series I would absolutely recommend! Just like the first book I completely devoured this one, once I started, I couldn’t bring myself to stop. The storyline is action-packed, intense, detailed and addicting. Plus, it flows perfectly no matter what order you choose to read the series in.

I love how Brandi is able to provide such easy to connect with characters and humor all while still keeping up with the dark storyline.

I can’t wait to continue the series and would recommend it to anyone looking for their next paranormal read, this is one you won’t want to miss!

The Vampire Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 3) by Brandi Elledge – Review by Sheri Schrader

The Vampire Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 3)The Vampire Queen by Brandi Elledge
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Vampire Queen by Brandi Elledge is the third book in the Wheel of Crowns series. This time we get the story of Tandi, a newly made vampire, who is the worst vampire ever. She is not keen on following the directions of the Prince of Vampires and so how has gotten herself between him and the Queen of Vampires, who wants her Prince back. Like the other books in the series, the story flows and is easy to read. I like the characters because there is always good banter and conversation that help to guide the story. Tandi is great. She remembers her humanity and this often gets her into situations. I really have enjoyed this series and look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
