This is one of those series that you will become addicted to. It grabs you by the throat with book one and it won’t let you go. I’m telling you, nothing got done on my to-do list when I was reading this series!
I loved looking into Alessandra’s life that she leads. She battles with what is expected of her and what she really wants. She wants a better life but events and family suck her back into the dark where she dreads to be. She’s ready to leave that life behind but will she get it?
I’m not one to give away too many details. This is a series that needs to be experienced without giving an ounce away but I will say Necie Navone writes one amazing series. The character details and the storyline are something that will stick with you long after the last page is read and your dying to get your hands on the next book!

Courage (The Sisterhood Series) By Chelsi Arnold I loved this book just as much as the first one. I suggest reading the first book in this series because you will want the background information you get from from the first one. These woman in this story are, strong, brave, and so much more and the definitely want revenge, after one of their own was killed. This book is full of action and emotion. I was hooked from the moment I started reading and couldn’t put it down till I had read every last word. I felt like i was right along with them in the story and i felt very connected to these characters!! I highly recommend reading this story, you won’t want to miss out.

This is a collection of short stories by four great authors. These are a collection of stories about strong, confident women who are willing to take big risks with their choices. Four women and all four looking to make a change in their lives. How much change are they ready for when the unexpected steps into their lives. Each story is different and I highly recommend reading all of them. You won’t regret picking up this book!

Killmore (Killmore #1) by Martha Sweeney is a action pack thriller which will have you wishing there was more.
What happens when you are undercover with the meanest Mexican gang and you are determined to bring them down? Leia is a woman who is on the inside and is working with the FBI to take down the gang, she has been promised that if she succeeds she will be placed into witness protection and she can get away from her abusive husband.
Once they have been taken down Leia is kill and Laurie is born, she becomes a successful business woman but there is always the images hidden at the back of her head and which haunt her dreams at night, until one day Adien walks into her life and things change.
I loved the interaction between these two characters and the chemistry was brilliant. The fast pace of the story keeps you on your toes and with the twists and turns you will be on the edge of your seat. I can’t wait to continue the story with The Killmores book #2.
5 Star Deadly Alliance : A Fortis/Purgatory Crossover Novel by Maddie Wade and India Kells is a pretty amazing crossover book. Both of these authors by themselves are amazing but put them together and Holy Cow! There are some twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat and even had me shaking my head at one moment. I love the characters and this story just flowed smoothly. Get ready to be taken on the journey of Shane and Emma. Find out if these two can have a relationship or are they better off as friends? I highly recommend reading this Book. I can’t wait to see what is next.

This is the second book in the series Lie to Me, it is full of hot men and edge sitting action. In this book Layla has moved to Guadalajara to write her books and just maybe find herself. She meets new friends and is walking the steamy line of men not only that but danger seems to always be lurking. She made me feel as if I was right there with her and feeling what she was. She is in search of love but the problem is where she is looking, will she find it? I highly recommend reading this book.

Reckless: A Steamy Contemporary Romance Anthology By: by Mika Jolie, Kylie Stewart, P.M. Carson, Sharla Lovelace 5 out of 5 stars
The anthology Reckless is a collection of 4 stories that I loved reading. They each have characters that I enjoyed reading about. I found myself turning pages to see how everything works out. Some of the characters are not lucky when in a relationship, some have been badly hurt so they feel they are broken, and some believe that what they are having is just a fling. No matter the case, when they meet the attraction that they feel for each other, is off the charts and undeniable. I love how each author makes you feel the emotions that each couple is feeling. My emotions went up and down just like theirs did. These characters have a passion and desire for each other. Will these characters open their hearts up to each other and take a chance at love no matter how reckless it may seem? Read these stories to find out. These stories also have some very steamy scenes that will make the temperature in the room rise. There are scenes where the characters act and I want to shout out to them asking why they did what they did. There are other moments that warmed my heart. This is an anthology that I would recommend for anyone who loves the romance genre.

I love this series! The plot is easy flowing and engaging. It pulls me in right from the beginning, sitting on the edge of your seat suspense. I highly recommend reading the previous books in this series to get the full enjoyment of the characters. In this story Wren suspects that the King is behind the disappearance of Guild members. Will she find them or will limits be pushed to far? I love Wren’s character, she is strong, fun and just a great character. Her story is a must read!
Ring Tru by Janice M. Whiteaker is a must read! It’s a second chance romance/crime/thriller type read, and I enjoyed every second of it. This story is action-packed, dramatic, entertaining and so captivating. From the first chapter I was hooked. I ended up reading this book in one sitting as I couldn’t bring myself to put it down, I just had to know how everything was going to play out.
I loved both these main characters from the start and I couldn’t wait to unravel their past, I found Tru and Will very intriguing. I really enjoyed how this story flowed and I loved all of the detail that Janice used, it made it easy to picture everything playing out in my mind as I was taken on a wild journey alongside Tru and Will in their newest acquisition.
I can’t wait to continue this series and I would definitely recommend it to others!

The Killmores (Killmore #2) By Martha Sweeney Rated 5 stars!!
Blows my mind!! This book is the EPIC second book to Killmore. I was entranced by the great storytelling and amazing characters. I could not put this down. Especially during a couple tense times for the characters. Many time I was “ohhh” and “What?” Or “!!!!!” (insert swear word here). I couldn’t decide whether to read fast because it’s so dang good or slow to prolong the feelings. I was surprised and impressed at some of the activities and things that happened to these characters. Shocked is more like it.
I love that Laurie is still the same snarky bad-a$$ that she was in the first one. Yes she has demons that plague her but with Aiden and the dogs she has some relief. I love how she is always thinking one step ahead.
Aiden….well you are my hero! The LOVE you feel for her….is coming off the pages! I can’t get enough of you! I love everything you are and everything you do to save your life and your love. You are one in a million my friend!
This book changed my thoughts on some of the characters we previously met. Which is a positive thing for a reader. That the author can change my mind? Good writing! There were some new characters to enjoy as well. I loved the military buddies of Aiden. They have a great friendship and I love how they joke around together. Best buds for sure!
This is an outstanding read that I highly recommend. Make sure you read Killmore first to understand some things better in this book. Martha Sweeney is fast becoming a one-click author for me. The afterword makes me wonder what could happen next?? Questions….I have a few….

My Tragic Life: Brothers of Camelot Prequel (My Life Series Book 2) by Necie Navone is follows on right where book one finished. As with the first book you will find yourself engrossed in the world that Necie has created of the Canzano Family and you are thoroughly invested in the characters that you grew to love in the first part of the series. The Princess of the Family is smart, clever, and sassy and still being trained and raised to one day take over. She can out smart, out gun and out fight any man who gets in her way. This story is also told in multiple POV’s giving us that depth to the characters showing us what they are made from. The murder and mayhem, love and loss and high running emotions are at times heart wrenching. Necie has written a series that should not be missed. She is a diamond in the rough that is coming out shining.

The Moon in Her Eyes: a witch’s tale By: Nikki Broadwell 5 out of 5 stars
The story The Moon in Her Eyes: a witch’s tale by Nikki Broadwell is a fantasy book the I loved reading. It is a story that once it starts the journey that it takes you on doesn’t stop until the ending page. It had me turning pages to find out what was going to happen next. I loved reading about Emeline. She is a witch who is living in 1694 with the Wampanoag tribe. She has the ability to travel through time which can at times have consequences. Emeline is a beautiful and strong woman. When she finds that timelines are all mixed up she wonders what has happened. She is trying to find the truth about what has happened and how to repair what has been altered. Will she succeed? Will and can the timelines be repaired? Read this story to find out. I could empathize with Emeline as situations are happening quickly and she at times wonders if she is the cause of some of the changes occurring. This is a fast-paced book that had me on the edge of my seat. The characters are constantly on the move. There are additional characters that are introduced in the story who help and interact with Emeline. Then there are those characters that I wondered about their true motives. Don’t miss out on a story that has magic, time travel, and dark forces. Highly recommended.

Across From You is a decadent little novel by Amabel Daniels. My first dabble with this author, and it is with delight that I say it was well worth it. It kept me riveted for hours and totally enthralled. Getting to know the way this author writes and the colourfully wacky characters was truly enchanting
Lexi is a workaholic mess of a woman who had me in stitches. She was so quirky and hilarious, I instantly bonded with her. She was a breath of fresh and unique air. She was one of a kind and a privilege to learn about. Jack was a little more reserved and less laid back, but still a pleasure to know. He and Lexi fell slowly and sweetly, and life as they knew it became a memory, and in its place was excitement, mystery and discovering common desires and dreams.
Across From You was an extremely masterful tale that was filled with emotional thrills and adventure. 5 stars.

Embrace The Passion: Pets In Space 3 Anthology Wow I didn’t realize that when I started to read this anthology that I would enjoy every single story in it. These sci-fi romantic stories kept me entertained and wanting to read the next one. There are so many good books in one anthology that I cannot pick a favorite, but I will say you need to read this. Each of these stories can be read as a standalone and you won’t want to miss out on any of them. There are so many talented authors that came together to make a wonderful anthology, I highly recommend reading these stories.

Nathaniel is the first book in the Dragon Hearts series from Carole Mortimer. I have never read any of her work before so this was a new experience altogether for me. I jumped in with an open mind and was pretty pleased with what I found. There were a few things that I didn’t enjoy as much as I would have, and things I loved, so we will go pros/cons for this review.
Pros~ I loved the world building, I felt like I was visiting places that even though I know could never exist outside my mind, were so vividly real. This was a complete and short packaged novel, and the rest of the books are available so I don’t have to wait to grab the next one to find out what will come next. The MC’s have some awesome chemistry and it makes for some steamy yummy reads!
Cons~ I wanted to like the female MC, Chloe, and eventually I could tolerate her, but I just was so annoyed with her. I felt she was a bit overdone, and I couldn’t get passed it. The story took me awhile to get into. This was a difficult thing for me because it is a short novel. I really felt as if the pace could have just gone a bit faster for the first half of the book. Otherwise, the concept was good, storyline developed well, and the characters worked great together. I will be giving the next book in the series a try.
Embattled Hearts (Military Romantic Suspense) (Lost and Found Book 1) By J.M. Madden I really got into this story as soon as I started reading it. The author did an amazing job making this story realistic and connecting me with the characters. Shannon is a really likeable character and just what John needs to feel alive again. John who at first isn’t the most likeable guy, which is understandable because of his demeanor after everything he has been through, but he will grow on you. I enjoyed the banter and sexual tension between these two.I also enjoyed the action and danger that goes along with the romance in this story. If you want to know where their story goes you need to read it to find out. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series. I recommend this book.

Abbie Roads has done it again. I am left breathless after Never Let Me Fall, book three in the Fatal Dreams series. Don’t panic if you haven’t read the first two, this can be read as a standalone novel. I would recommend that you read them as soon as you can if you have not because they are equally breathtaking.
Let me just start with the gorgeous cover. Not only eye catching but beyond fitting and makes perfect sense once you read the novel. If I hadn’t read anything by Abbie Roads before I would have picked this up without even reading the synopsis.
Helena, I just loved her. She was a strong woman because she had to be. After being convicted of a murder that she didn’t commit as a teenager she spent years in a women’s prison. Brutal beatings has left her scarred both physically and mentally, and with a lot of healing needed by the time her release date comes.
Thomas had his own fair share of scars. When the two meet on the night Helena gets released from the facility there is an instant connection between the two. Both of them are so broken, but in different ways. Could they each have the pieces that could heal the other?
I just adored the way this book came alive off the pages. Abbie Roads has the ability to paint a scene with her words and make you feel as if you are right there with the characters. Each time I finish one of her novels I feel a great hangover and this one was no different. I can’t wait to see what will come next! Thanks for the great read!

Sailor’s Knot by Phoebe Alexander is the fourth book in her Eastern Shore Swingers Series and this book took the cake so to speak. Having read all of the other books in this series, I already knew I was in for a treat, but this book just took my breathe away. Following the story of Casey Fontane and her journey to meeting Gabriel and Joshua. Casey is living in California and staying with sister, who is undergoing chemotherapy. Her friends, Leah and Paisley, have come to visit her and while they have their own lives and issues to handle it is always good to be around friends. Because Casey is more of a matriarch to her group of friends, she gives each friend guidance and advice through way of her own complicated love story. The readers learn how Casey came to be with getting into the swinger scene, and how all of her dealings in the past have led her to Gabriel and Joshua. This chance meeting leads Casey and the readers on a fantastic journey of self-discovery, love, and a second chance at life and love. The twists and turns that these book takes will leave you on the edge of your seat and take your breath away in the same moment. Will she get her second chance love story? Or will meeting these two be a meeting too late?
This book can be read as a standalone, without missing out on any of the story, but the series is integrated so well in this series that you will need to read it as a whole to appreciate the evolution of Alexander’s writing. And with the introduction of characters from other stories and seeing where they have grown in their own journey, will make this an even better series once read in order. Having read several of Alexander’s works in the past I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book, and she definitely did not let me down in the least. If you are looking for a fantastic book, let alone series, this is one that you need to pick and dive into today. I can’t wait to see where she takes us next.
This was a lovely story with a man,Gideon, who is learning more about his family, himself, and love. Lissie is grieving, but may be able to find the passion that she wishes for and a second chance at love.my favorite character was Gideon, because I feel that his character growth was the most. I loved recognizing how he changed! I loved reading how these characters dealt with difficult situations and Gideon’s family’s gifts. I thought that this story was fun and interesting as well as easy to read. This is book seven in the Enduring Legacy series.

I love stories that create a place were people know their own issues but are working to better themselves. John is an ex-marine he was injured and loss the use of his legs. I think a lot of his meanness comes from the fact that he can no longer walk. Shannon was a doll. I liked that she didn’t look at John as a cripple but just a man. Their relationship was a slow ride but it was perfect. Each character had things to overcome. The author wrote an compelling story about finding yourself and learning to love yourself. My absolute favorite type of novels are the ones that make me feel as if I am living amongst the characters myself, fully immersive. ‘Forgetting Ophelia’ did just exactly that. This is one emotional roller coaster ride. I would have your tissues ready, and a cozy blanket, maybe clear your schedule for a few hours. If you are like me you won’t want to put down this amazing book until you finish the very last page.
Ophelia, or Lia, had it all. She followed the plan to get her to this moment, her fifth wedding anniversary and the honeymoon she has been anticipating. Unfortunately, that wonderful life all blows up into a disastrous nightmare for her, and suddenly she is left with a completely shattered life to put back together. It is no easy feat to do either. She will have to learn lessons the hard way and figure out who she really is, not who she thought she was.
I have not read anything by Julie C. Gardner before I picked up Forgetting Ophelia. This is the second book in the Friendships & Secrets series from her. I had absolutely zero issues reading this as a standalone, but I will read the first one because I adored this. I will also be adding her other titles to my TBR list. Thank you so much for a great read Ms. Gardner!
Must Be Crazy (Darling Cove Book #3) by Deborah Garland was a sweet, light hearted, frustrating, whirlwind romance, that like the other books in the series, had me hooked from start to finish.
Not my first read by this author, or this series. They are all standalones with recurring characters, there aren’t many spoilers, but I do suggest reading this series in order, just because the timeline is chronological.
This time we are following Sky and her crazy adventure through love, misunderstandings, stupid ex’s, and what it means to truly trust someone. I have to say, this book out of all three, was for me, the best. I liked Sky from the other books, strong independent and bluntly awesome. She speaks her mind and doesn’t have a lot of time for BS. She gets stuck between a rock and a hard place when her idiot of a ex shows up with a case, and offering a chunk of money, that because of events in past books, she couldn’t pass up. As much as I wanted to slap her, I can see were she was coming from, but, hell, the girl should have asked for help before it got to that, no return point.
Edward, I need me one of those. Charming, hot, heart of gold, a little bit stupid, single father, and volunteer firefighter. The guy is as close to perfection as you can get, but, as much of a fighter and alpha he is, dude learned a hard lesson about cutting corners, and, not divulging some important info, that could have solved a portion of his and sky problems, before they arose. I will say that, he didn’t walk away, he knew what he wanted and was going to do everything to make it work. There was no quitting, with every problem, misunderstanding, misstep, he fought, and did his best to turn it around. It was such a different approach, and was a fresh of breath air.
Overall this story, this series is a must read. Outside of the amazing well build characters, solid plot and multi POV. The writing was so well constructed that when the POV switch it was like you were reading two different stories that so happen to be taking place at the same time. When those stories collided, it was like magic and, man, I was hooked like you wouldn’t believe. I do hope there is more to this series, as their stories are still fresh, new. I believe there is still so much more that can be build and explored upon.
So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will get lossed in this wicket love story, that will not only get those feels kick started, but have you hiding a blushing from all the hot steaming smut scenes.
Across From You is a fabulously funny romantic comedy by Amabel Daniels. This book had me hooked from beginning to end. I love when a book makes me laugh out loud and this book definitely hit that mark. Lexi is truly a strong woman with a wicked sense of humor. After having a really bad day, starting with a public breakup she ends up meeting Jackin unusual circumstances. They have instant chemistry and such fun witty conversations. If you are looking for a quick rom/com, this is the book for you.

The Prestian Series book three: Degrees of Control written by Via Mari. Degrees of Control is a great addition to the Prestian Series and I can’t wait to read what’s next in the series. This is a continuation of Kate and Chases relationship and the many struggles they continue to face. With now threats and Kate struggling with secrets being kept can she trust Chase when it means the most of will her past issues make her unable to trust Chase. I love how much Kate grows into her self in this book, she’s always had her struggles but she is trying now and knows what she fears and wants out of life. But will the answer come to her when it’s too late…

Never Let Me Fall is the third book in Abbie Roads Fatal Dreams series. I have read EVERY SINGLE ONE of her books and I bow my head in reverence … With every book I read, I close it with a hope that she will give us another one in the series … Her imagination, her way of telling the stories, the way she gets into your head, the way she throws you on an emotional rollercoaster … she is a master of masters! Never Let Me Fall is the story of Thomas Brown (the second book of the series was about her sister) and Helena Grayse … when these two meet, EVERYTHING changes, for both of them … At times I take a break from reading and I wonder where the writer takes the inspiration for her stories from … and to think that it is the third story focusing on an ancient legend, the writer doesn’t seem to lack of diversity, the different destinies that the couples have been destined for … please, keep them coming! Just a friendly advice, do please read the books in order … you could say they are standalones that have the ancient legend in common … but I do not think so … you get sucked deeper and deeper with each story and as I said, the second book is about Thomas’ sister … I wonder who will be next and I hope there will be next and I hope that Abbie will also continue her Fatal Truth series in near future!

Holy cow! This was just what the doctor ordered! (Literally I needed a good evening read to get out of my head.) I have only read a small novella in an anthology by Melissa Kier before, which I enjoyed, but I am more and more falling in love with her writing. She really knows how to weave a story with grace and heart in one well written compact package. This novella is under 120 pages, and I felt like I got a 300 page story. I truly enjoyed my time with Tuesday in Copper Mills.
Tuesday has set up her new food truck, Tuesday’s Tacos, and a new life in Copper Mills. She recently lost her mother, her business, and had a brutal breakup. Everything was going so well with business that she needed to hire another set of hands. Little did she know how much crud that was going to cause when she hired the boy she hired… Will it destroy everything she just rebuilt?
Blake Rodgers, the mayor of Copper Mills is another of our MC’s He does all he can for the people of Copper Mills. One trip to the grocery store finds him in the path of Tuesday and in an insta-kinda love. But of course there is always a catch somewhere in the happiness… His crazy ex has other plans in mind, and things start to get really ugly.
I adored this story for so many reasons. I could go on and on, but I feel like I would give too much away. For more you will just have to pick up this gem and read for yourself what happens for these two. I must now go and find some more goodies from Melissa Keir!

Ring Tru is the first book in the Thick as Thieves series from Janice M. Whiteaker. I had not had the pleasure of reading anything from Whiteaker before and I am so glad that I chose this one to be my first because I loved it! I was definitely gripped from the very first chapter to the last page, and I am anxious to get my hands on the next one in the series.
Tru has one job left before she can be on the path to a straight and narrow life. One problem, her ex is Will is back in the picture and not exactly going to make things easy. Will has always regretted his decision to leave Tru. Regardless of the reasons why he did. He is determined to make up for it now. Will these two be able to work together to pull off this crazy heist? Will they ever overcome their past and the damage that it has caused to have a future together?
This is one of those multilayer stories that leaves you constantly on the edge of the seat. I was never bored. Not only do you have the suspenseful jewelry heist stuff going on, you have the dramatic and tumultuous second chance romance that just tugs at all the right heart strings. It was an even better surprise that it was unpredictable!
