Beachcomber Gone by Stephanie Queen, is another great story in this series that I love. Her writing skills and the amazing wonderful characters, Dane and Shana, and the situations they find themselves in, make for some interesting adventures. Stephanie draws you in with intrigue and mystery, seduction and love, high running emotions and some badass PI skills. It’s taken a while for these two to fully commit to one another, especially with Dane’s closed off heart, but as you come to expect from these two, nothing ever goes as planned and there is always a mystery to solve. However, the odds just got a little tougher when dealing with high up Police officials and the whole country is looking for you.

Stephanie Queen is always a must read.

The Changeup (A Resort Romance Novel Book 6) by Mary Billiter is another ​great read. Mary has done a fantastic job with this story and I fell in love with the characters from the very first page of the first book. ​The story is told from a duel POV which gives the story much more depth and perspective. I found myself laughing at the antics of the characters as they try to get to the bottom of who did it. ​It is a murder mystery, romance story and this is one of my favourites in this series.

Rebel is in witness protection so the last thing she needs is a murder, but to find out who did it, she finds a lot more than she bargained for.

Ryan wants nothing more than to be blue blood and is training to be a deputy sheriff but what he stumbles across in an alley is more than he ever imagined and may just place the one thing he wants most in the world in jeopardy.

There are secrets and mysteries, lies and loss that will keep you glued to each and every page.

An Agreement (Summer in New York Book 3) by Lindsay Marie Miller ​is a sweet contemporary romance story. ​Lindsay has done a fantastic job and I fell in love with the characters from the very first page of the first book. ​The story is told from a duel POV which gives the story much more depth and perspective in to who the characters are. It is a heartwarming and beautiful story that is also sad and compelling. There is so much pain and suffering, secrets and loss that will keep you glued to each and every page. The raw emotions in this captivating story broke my heart at times and I could not stop the tears.   Bailey just wants to be loved, to find that one person she is supposed to be with the rest of your life but building her business never left much room for men. So desperate times call for desperate measures and what she finds is much more than she bargained for.

Carter has been living with his own demons but when a beautiful mix up comes into his life he doesn’t know what he should do.

I am looking forward to what comes next.

Just brilliant! The Killmores by Martha Sweeney​ is another ​great read. ​This book continues on from the first one and should not be read as a standalone you need to know what happened and all about the characters to truly understand and value this book. Martha has done a fantastic job with this story and I fell in love with the characters from the very first page of the first book. There is so much pain and suffering, action and danger, secrets and mysteries, lies and loss that will keep you glued to each and every page. The emotion in this book just broke my heart and I could not stop sobbing.

Laurie has been through so much and just living on the edge of sanity but the final nail in the coffin has just happened and she can not take any more and she finally knows what she has to do.   I have been looking forward to reading this book and it didn’t disappoint. Spot on Martha, spot on.

Distant Memory: She remembered everything (Solum Series Book 3) Colleen S. Myers is a fantasy sci fi story and one I have been waiting to read and of course Colleen did not let me down. You must read them in order or you will miss so much and only have a third of the story and the background information on the characters. She kept me engrossed and perched on the edge of my seat, as I turned page after page, with her masterful and vivid writing skills and a plot that has more twist and turns than a piece of licorice. There is more action and suspense, secrets and lies, truths and danger and we get to find out the answers to questions that have been sitting around the edges just waiting to be revealed.

This book continues on from the others and should not be read as a standalone because you will not have all the information about the characters and their world behind you. It took awhile for the story to rev up but when it did it got interesting and I sat up and took notice. I enjoyed but I found myself having issues with Kate she frustrated me in this book because she wasn’t willing to bend and always assumed the worst. There is lots of action and danger, secrets and mystery that will keep you intrigued to know what is going to happen.

The First Backwards Christmas by Brooke Williams is a short but cute christmas romance story. I wasn’t sure what I was getting when I first looked at he book but the story is original and a little magical and you will enjoy each and every bit of it. Christmas in South Pole, Alaska has never been quite like this one, it’s a little zany, a little wacky and a little fun. Just what the town needs. It encompasses all there is that is christmas, family and friends, love and joy, spirit and caring. It is simplistic in it’s telling which is spot on.

This is a feel good story that can be read in one nice relaxing afternoon.

F*cking Frank (Smirk Series Book 1) by Jen Luerssen is a romantic comedy and it is one of the most funniest stories I have read. Jen hit the mark when she wrote this book, it is told in a male point of view and her dialogue and humour was spot on. I found myself laughing out loud and getting funny looks when I did so, but I didn’t care because I was so engrossed in the lives of these wacky characters. It was also sexy and steamy and there were some tender moments that made you go ah. The story feels so realistic as we follow these crazy friends, who are family, through their lives, with all their quirks and sexy smexy innuendos, teasing and mateship, love and flaws, hope and wonder.

I seriously look forward to reading more of these characters in this series, as one book is not enough. Good job Jen!

Nathaniel (Dragon Hearts 1) by Carole Mortimer is a sexy paranormal fantasy story of dragons. I enjoyed the little twist to the Pendragon name and the mystery that is the Pendragon castle and the secrecy that surrounds it and found this well written story very entertaining. It is a quick read that is full of humour and I really enjoyed the banter of the feisty and witty Chloe, who takes no prisoners and her sexy alpha dragon and their sexual tension. Carole has set the scene of a previous time and has written a fun read, with some hot and steamy scenes with hot and sexy dragons. My only problem was it is not long enough. I want more! I do however look forward to reading more on the Pendragon brothers. Nathaniel is a good start to the series.

Courage (The Sisterhood Series) by Chelsi Arnold​ is an action packed ride and keeps you intrigued right to the very last page. We normally only read stories of men in war and how good they are so it was a refreshing take to read about these wonderful women doing just as good a job. I enjoyed ​Chelsi’s storytelling and how she instilled so much depth and character to this group of strong, sweet, sassy and ready for action women. I absolutely loved their banter and craziness as it showed their depth of feelings for one another, their family. The action starts from the very beginning and does not stop. The twists and turns made my head spin and the action and mayhem was so palpable you could feel it with every pump of your heart. This is one great story that should not be missed and an honour to the women and men who fight our wars. Good job Chelsi!

Killmore by Martha Sweeney is an action packed ride and keeps you intrigued right to the very last page. I enjoy ​Martha’s storytelling and how she effortlessly lets the words flow keeping you engrossed to know more. The depth of the characters and their world make the story that more believable. The sexual tension between the main characters is prevalent right from their first meeting. Laurie is a feisty and determined woman, she has had to learn to be and letting anyone in to her life is not on the cards. I absolutely loved their banter and craziness as Aidan tries to make her his. The twists and turns sometimes made my head spin but in a good way and I know there is so much more to come to this story. I can not wait for the next installment, The Killmores, I know the journey will be great.

This book should not be read as a standalone because you will not have all the information about the characters and their world behind you. I really liked the first book but am in two minds about this one. The writing style in this book didn’t quite grab me, it didn’t feel as easy to read. The story line was interesting, I enjoyed but I found myself wanting to smack Kate sometimes because she felt much more naive in this book and made things harder than need be and it frustrated me no end. That aside, it is a an emotional read with lots of action and danger, secrets and mystery that will keep you intrigued to know what is going to happen.

A Must For Christmas: A Darling Cove Novella by Deborah Garland is yet another wonderful addition to the stories of the Mallory’s. Deborah has written another beautiful but heart wrenching novella with A Must For Christmas. I am in love with the characters from this series and feel personally invested in each and every one of them. So if they hurt, I hurt. If they are sad I am sad and let me tell you there were plenty of times I had a good sob. However, there were also some moments that were pure joy.

Faith and Greg have been through so much to get where they are today, but could all be lost in the blink of an eye? Fear like they have never known is now front and center, with no time for second guessing. Now because of two little men their lives are forever changed.

Deborah’s stories are so vivid and rich and I am always happy to read her work. It is effortless and written with love. Her stories should not be missed.

Necie has once again written a winner as she takes us on the journey that ends with death and sadness, love and loss. It’s and ending that needs tissues and will bring a few tears as you are so emotionally invested in these wonderful characters. There is still lots of action and murder and mayhem, and secrets that could bring them all down.

This is an ending that should not be missed.

Where surviving means putting yourself through one last job to be able to start over. One last job that means doing things you never thought you would have to do.

Tru was left high and dry and devastated and now she is on her last job but things don’t go as planned when the cause of her devastation walks back into her life, seemingly on the same heist but for different reasons.

Jewels, money, passion and a game of cat and mouse and one near death experience make for one exciting read.

Must Be Crazy by Deborah Garland is the third book in the Darling Cove Series and one I have been waiting for. This series has been one of my favourites and this story is just as good if not better than the other two books and let me tell you I loooooooooved the other two and the Mallory’s. Must be Crazy is a wonderful second chances contemporary romance that is romantic and sweet, heart wrenching and tender, emotional and yet passionate. I was absolutely invested in these wonderful characters, previous and new and found myself crying and laughing throughout and often on the edge of my seat hoping upon hope that things would turn out ok.

Edward is a single father who is a good, kind and compassionate guy who devotes his time to his son, volunteer firefighting and his business as an architect, volunteer firefighter, single father, and all-round good guy. One call, one fire and his life is changed forever.

Skye thought she could have it all, until she learns just who her client is after.

If you love a good romance story, then why stop at one when you can have all three. Trust me reading has never been so good.

Across From You by Amabel Daniels is a cute and hilarious, fun and ridiculous romantic comedy that will have you laughing at the crazy. It did however take me a little bit to get really invested in the story and the characters but once I was, it was funny and entertaining and filled with crazy misadventures and dramas. The premise is different to other stories and that held half the fun. A viral breakup, an art class, a bridezilla, a wedding planner and sorority girls from hell. These are all the ingredients that once pulled together make for one fun adventure.

Embattled Hearts (Military Romantic Suspense) (Lost and Found Book 1) by J.M. Madden had me hooked with the characters and the storyline. It is a very emotional read and heartbreaking but it would not be the great story that it is without the background information on these wounded warriors. You can feel the pain and suffering these characters have been through.

Johns’ devastating injury whilst in Iraq has left him wheelchair bound and rude and bitter, angry and grumpy and a bit anti social, as he no longer feels whole, like a real man and definitely no one anyone could love. It certainly hasn’t been a problem until now, now when a certain sassy and takes no prisoners, sexy goddess has entered his life. But when she is threatened nothing and no one can keep him away but will his own insecurities keep them apart.

I am loving this first book and have a thirst for more.

This is a set of six books and six sexy romance stories that are quick and easy reads. I must say that there was not one story that I did not like and each and every author is just as good as the next. There are lots of emotions in each book that range from laughter to heart wrenching and some have a little mystery to them but each and everyone will have you intrigued and engrossed are definite page turners.

OMG, omg, omg! Getting the Goods by Elizabeth Perry had me roaring with laughter and tears rolling down my face. The premise of the story is not one I have read before and absolutely loved it. Elizabeth has written a beautiful love story that is so vivid and rich you imagine everything she has shared with us. How she came up with this wonderful crazy story and made it work is just brilliant. The whole book from start to finish is just amazing. The story is told in dual POV’s which I love and especially with these characters that I fell in love with.

Gabby and her best friend have hatched a plan that no one in their right mind would ever dream of doing. One that leads to more than they ever thought possible.

Connor has always loved ‘em and left them but he finds himself offering a deal of the likes he has never made before and one that he will never make again.

Seriously this is one read that no one and I mean no one should miss. I absolutely want to read more of this wonderful author.

Once Upon a Romance (A Dream Come True Book 1) by Alex Bailey is a story that is beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time and I absolutely enjoyed reading it. Making one little girls dream come true is the one thing Sophie is dreading. Pulling up her big girl panties is going to be harder than anything she has to do. That is until she comes face to face with a stranger that turns her world upside down.The story caught me from the very start of the book. I fell in love with the characters due to Alex’s attention to detail and writing skills and could picture it clearly in my mind. This heartwarming story will linger even after you have finished it. There was a lot of love weaved into this story and there are so many emotions that you will find yourself laughing and in tears the next, so grab a good drink and a box of tissues. I highly recommend that you partake in this wonderfully written story. It is a great start to the series and I can’t wait to see what is next.

I felt that the characters needed a little more developing but the plot is interesting and keeps you entertained as this mystery unfolds.

Wren is accused of murder by cupcake and has a month to find out who framed her and who the actual murderer is and clear her name.

This is a read for those who enjoy fantasy and magic and an unusual murder mystery.

Mad About Matt (A Red Maple Falls Novel, #1) by Theresa Paolo ​is a second chance romance, set in a small town, where everybody knows your business. Theresa is a good job of writing this story that is wonderful tale of love and has good vibe feel. The story is an easy read, it is engaging and at times humorous. There were also moments when I wanted to punch one of the characters. The chemistry between our main characters is smoking and sweet. This is a fantastic start to this series the characters, the Hayes family will have you falling in love with them and completely sucking you in to the story and I can’t wait to enjoy their stories or the story of this small town. I highly recommend this one to anyone who loves a sweet romance!

Hard as Steel: Book four (“Surviving Series”) by Virginia Wine is a romance suspense story and a page turner. I enjoyed this complex and layered tale and liked the characters but wished I had started at the beginning of the series with book one. I felt like I was missing out on very important background information in relation to the characters and their worlds. The plus is that the story is told in multiple POV’s which does give you that much more insight to the characters and who they are and what they are thinking. It was a bit of an emotional read and some broke my heart as the flashbacks told by a tragically tortured soul. I now have to go back and read the other three books in the series and then re read this one to put it all in perspective and look forward to the next book as the story did not end finished.

The references to things in the past and characters lead me to believe that the books in this series should be read in order and I will be going back to read them. Having said that I really enjoyed and was fully engrossed in this mysterious and and suspense of the story of Sam and Jace. There is action and drama that will have you intrigued and hanging on every word and trying to put all the pieces of the puzzle that Sharleen had weaved so well. The story is told in several POV’s which gives the story that much more richness.   Samantha’s clock is ticking but she has yet to meet a man that can fill her expectations, that is until one closed off and secretive stranger enters her world.   Jace, has been in hiding and on the move after tragedy struck. Now he has come home and just when he thinks that maybe, just maybe he can open his heart again, he finds that not only himself but everyone he knows, is once again in danger of his past.   This is a page turner that should not to be missed.

Savannah’s Saviors (The Cowboys of Cavern County Book 5) Bella Settarra is a romance story with a little twist. I really enjoy reading this book and fell in love with most of the characters, well the ones who count. Bella has written a story that is as heartbreaking as it is heartwarming. The characters were real life and down to earth and the town that Bella created could be imagined. It is really well written and will keep you engaged to the very end. This was a tale of violence and abuse, of lies and secrets, of betrayal and new beginnings, of sadness and misunderstandings and of love and laughter. I wouldn’t mind me some handsome cowboys and loved watching them all grow together. This should not be missed. I am looking forward to reading more from Bella.

Elegantly Denim: An Elegant Prelude (Elegant Series – Prequel) by Tee Smith is a contemporary romance story with a little mystery and suspense. I enjoy reading prequels as they flesh out and give you more insight to the characters and what makes them tick. Denim, our main character, is a complex and a rich and successful business man who is larger than life and through his nature and compassion those around him become loyal to him. Tee has a story that is a good start to the Elegant Series and I can’t wait to become more acquainted with the man of the hour.
