Elizabeth Bowen was was working as a full time accountant at the plant that has closed. Elizabeth is a single mom of an autistic son, Kyle. Elizabeth decides she needs to reevaluate her life and living with a man she doesn’t love and is not accepting of Kyle and his disability is no longer something she wants. Kyle is definitely a handful and now she has the chance to finally get him the help he has needed all his life. There is definitely not the right facilities for Kyle where she is living now so when the opportunity comes up to put Kyle in a vocational facility that will change his life, Elizabeth jumps at the chance and makes ready to embark on a new life and adventure to Wisconsin.

Zachary Logan, is a retired air force captain who now resides in Crystal Rock. He is looking for a new life for himself since he decided to leave the air force. Luke Bryant, his friend and savior after a tragic accident is helping him work toward that new life but Luke doesn’t quite know how deep the scars go. Zach decides to accept the position of an administrator at a new facility set up to help wounded warriors.

Thanks to Kyle, Zach and Elizabeth have a chance meeting at the magical Dragonfly Pointe beach. After the initial awkwardness they find they each have an instant attraction to one another. Neither can ever remember having felt that before. But Kyle is Elizabeth’s life and they come as a packaged deal.

Can Zach learn to love himself again and move forward to allow someone like Elizabeth to love him? Could someone like Elizabeth ever like someone like him? Is Kyle’s disability too much for Zach to handle? Will Zach finally find the life he has been searching for?

As with book 1 this is a lovely story and I feel for the things that soldiers have to face after coming home from war. You will enjoy this story.

Seventeen Taiyo is a young teenage Japanese girl who lives with her grandmother, . She is best friends with Ryuu and Kairi who are twin boys. They all attend the same school and have been friends for a long time. The twins could not be more different, Ryuu is the lazy one and Kairi is far more fastidious. As they get older things start to change when Taiyo is asked out and starts dating Kairi and Ryuu asks out Taiyo’s friend, Aya. Unfortunately Taiyo likes Ryuu but is so shy she doesn’t show her true feelings. Ryuu has feelings for Taiyo as well but is just as shy as Taiyo and neither reveal their true feeling to each other. Chaos ensues and after many lies and deceit Taiyo learns that being honest is much better than deceiving the ones you love. She doesn’t want to hurt anyone but that is what ends up happening. Teenagers and hormones are a deadly combination.

When they find themselves at the epicenter of a major earthquake and are then faced with a deadly tsunami that hits Japan their world is changed in an instant. The devastation is insurmountable and leaves nothing in it’s wake. Ryuu and Taiyo are missing and their families scared and very worried. Ryuu and Taiyo skipped out of school and didn’t tell anyone and when they become separated and Taiyo is frantic that Ryuu and the others are dead.

How far will Taiyo go to find those she loves? Will Taiyo, Ryuu and Kairi finally realise what is really important in their lives? Will they be forever changed?

If you want a quick and easy read, grab a copy. As it is a Novella it is a very very short story. You will find yourself immersed in the world of one of Japan’s devastating natural disasters.

After arriving at the beach thirteen year old Luke Bryant sees someone struggling in the sea. When he realises there is no Life-Guard around he plunges into the sea to save someone from drowning. Luke has had a rotten, traumatic and violent childhood and after being left with his step father after his mother’s death it only gets worse.

Even at six years old Kelly Callahan is a fashionista. She loves fashion like no other and always wants to look good. After being rescued from a life saving incident Kelly instantly feels a spark and an undeniable connection between her and her rescuer.

Kelly’s brother Dan and Luke become friends. Dan and his family and friends helps Luke out like no one ever has. Kelly is at her sister’s wedding and gets the surprise of her life when she spots the man who stole her heart, Luke. Luke has been in Iraq serving his country, but has returned home on leave and has been asked to attend the wedding. When he sees Kelly he realises just how beautiful she has become. Luke has to return to Iraq and has not been heard of for many months but after some searching he has been found but sadly he is not safe and sound. Finally Luke is coming home but sadly he is coming home with some very serious injuries. He’s feels he isn’t worthy of anyone’s love or self respect and is finding it hard to deal with the loss of not only himself for what he has become but with his friend. He is determined to do it all himself but just can not find the energy or willpower.

Will Luke finally begin to love himself so he can love someone else? Will he finally let others help him? Will his past be too much when he finally reveals the full extent of it? Willy Kelly be able to get through to the man she loves before it is too late?

This is a sad but sweet story but worth the read.

Annelise Lowe is a pre-school teacher who loves her job and has done what was expected of her, always pleasing everyone, her family, church and her husband Aaron. Annelise’s family is definitely different and they preach the lord to one and all and are more than happy to call Annelise out for being different in their eyes, they berate her and put her down without a care for her feeling. After getting married Aaron and Annelise have made having children their main priority but getting what they want is not happening and is causing issues. Annelise has always been a bigger girl and her weight is not helping with the dreams of having a child.

Aaron seems to only be concerned with himself, his job and having children. He is always on at Annelise because of her weight and because of this Annelise’s self esteem are at an all time low and she believes that she is the one to blame for the state of their marriage.

Annalise meets Trek Blue a single father raising two children after the loss of his wife to cancer through his daughter, Bailey who has just started kindy after moving closer with his mother to start over. Bailey is struggling and is very bright and Annalise finds herself tutoring Bailey. Annelise and Trek become friends and helps her through some tough times.

Annalise’s sister, Charity is much younger than her and her brothers but they find themselves forming a stronger bond when tough times arise and only a sister would understand.

Will Annalise finally find out what has her husband so driven to patch things up? Will she finally love herself for who she is? Will her family understand and support her when she needs them most? Will she be able to finally live a life she has always wanted?

The overall story is good and my favourite quote from the book is “You’ve been given to fly, my love. You just need to believe you can.” Enjoy!

Milenda is the Jewel of the Crown of Natale and is set to become ruler. Ancient traditions state, she must select a husband upon her 18th birthday. Men vying for her hand must face the trial, which is set up in accordance with the Elders wishes. A trial that is as older than the Elders themselves and just as deadly but the men who face the trials do so without knowing that the odds have been stacked against them by these cruel and malicious old men. The men have presented themselves before the Jewel to receive her favour but one sends the fear of death into her upon seeing his face. Milenda has already found the love of her life but knows she can not go against traditions let alone the Elders.

Jaali is a former slave that has won his freedom. He teaches at the university and that is how he met his love, Milenda. He knows that in order to be accepted as one worthy of her hand he must face the Elders and the trial they have set before him before they can be man and wife and Milenda can claim the throne. Jaali is determined to win but he starts to realise that the Elders have their own agenda and that does not include Jaali and a happily ever after with Milenda, the Jewel of the Crown. Jaali heads to the desert to start the trials he has to face his deepest fears and fight for his life.

Meanwhile Milenda discovers that the Palace is full of secrets, lies and mystery when it comes to the Elders, causing her to face the problems thrown at her. The Elders do not want Jaali to survive and marry the Jewel,l in fact the Elders plans are very different to those of Melinda and that of the Goddess and Natale. Melinda has been given a gift, gifted to her by the Orisa. Shel learns that her gift may be the one thing that may save her love and could mean his survival, but is it really a gift?

If you like a book with mystery and intrigue then this book is for you.

He has one mission and that is to break free and find help for those who suffer the same life. Now free he has to enlist the help and gain the trust of others so that he can achieve his one objective. Running for his life he encounters a young woman just a he had been told and hopes that she may be the one human he can trust. What he encounters is more than he ever thought was possible.

The people at the Institute will stop at nothing and do everything and anything just to get him back, he is after all the most valuable prisoner in the history of the Institute.

Will he be able to find his way to where he needs to be? Will he find the help he needs to complete his one mission or will he find something more that could damage his goal, his mission? Will he ever find out what exactly he is or will he always be a monster? Will he find the freedom he longs to have and will he ever be able to live a normal life?

This story will have you captivated from the very beginning until the very end. You will not want to put it down. It has non-stop action and everything supernatural. You will find yourself believing in the characters on their journey for their fight for freedom, a fight for life and wanting them to have it all.

Will Kathryn be able to learn to survive and be able to Just Live? Will she be able to overcome her fears? Will she be to find the fantasy and the true love she has always dreamed about? Will she be able to find a family and home to call her own?

Will Jasper find the dream of becoming a Jazz musician and someone to share it with or will it be all taken away from him?

This is an extremely emotional, painful and abusive yet beautiful story of rediscovery and learning to love again not only themselves but others to. The character Kathryn brought out my emotional side. I can guarantee you will want to read this in one sitting.

After Ethan’s finally tells Alexa about his past family history and Alexa can not believe the hell he has had to endure at the hands of his crazy, neurotic step-mother.

Sebastian, Alexa’s father’s friend has been keeping an eye on Alexa. When trouble comes to town Sebastian along with his friend Jeremy, tries to keep her by his side and safe. Just when you think the trouble is under control Alexa is once again put in danger. A danger that not only threatens her life but also that of all she holds dear.

Alexa once again finds herself trying to put her life back together after the biggest tragedy of her life. But from tragedy comes one of the greatest joys of life and her new family are there with her every step of the way. It has been a slow long hard slog but just as she has finally comes to terms with her new life she is yet again faced with one from her past.

Who will Alexa choose? Will Alexa find room in her heart to let someone else in or will she walk away forever? Will Alexa finally be free of all the hardships and heartaches she has endured for one so young? Will Sebastian be able to keep Alexa and her family safe from the past?

OMG this story is heartbreaking and yet beautiful and you will definitely need tissues to see you through to the end. You can’t help but fall in love with all the characters and feel as though you know each and every one of them. T.R is definitely a great writer.

Brynn once again finds herself back in New Orleans after the death of her ex husband Nathan Cole. A place that holds many many dark secrets, secrets she has tried so hard to leave behind. Brynn finds herself at his funeral and having to deal with the ruthless men who are members of the Corde Noire a secret society that holds many many terrible and disturbing secrets. Nathan Cole was murdered and the men of the Corde Noire society want his murderer revealed.

Brynn is now a writer and is trying to juggle writing her latest book and dealing with Nathan’s estate but being back in New Orleans has bought back the many bad memories and ghosts. Brynn has always had a gift, one she never shares one her ex husband exploited. Brynn is staying at the Shallows Nathan’s home but the things she sees she can never unsee and it leaves her shaken. Did Nathan Cole make a deal with the devil?

Declan Corinth has a past he is ashamed of but a past that has helped him land on his feet. Ren the leader of the Corde Noire has made a deal with Declan. Declan needs to learn Brynn’s secret and gain her trust but to do so he has to pretend he is something he is not, something that makes him sick to his stomach. If he doesn’t get the information the Corde Noire wants will Brynn’s life be in danger? Will Brynn let him into her life?

Will Brynn be pushed too far and be destroyed in the process? Will Brynn be able to find the answers needed by the Coire Noire before time runs out? Will Brynn be able to finally let go of the past and be able to live a life that she has always wanted but only been able to write about? Is there more behind the Corde Noire and it’s Ren the true leader or just a puppet?

I enjoyed this book, there are so many twists and turns and the intrigue and supernatural elements certainly keep you drawn to the story.

Once Devin and Alexa are alone Devin shocks Alexa with a secret he has been hiding. Alexa is devastated when she learns his secret and he walks out of her life. Ethan, Lexi’s bad boy next door neighbor and the boy she has been crushing on since she moved finds her and comforts her.

Alexa is now 18 and has been given the worst most tragic news of her life. Alexa and Ethan become close as she finds herself relying on him after the tragic loss. When Devin shows up after two years Alexa finds herself in the middle of her best friend and the bad boy next door, both of whom want to help her through her loss.

Alexa is finally getting her life on track with the help of her friends and is about to graduate but something from her past is about to come back and knock her on her arse.

Will Alexa be able to deal with the shock or will this cause more trouble than she can deal with? Will it cause her to loose the best thing she has built and possibly her heart?

This book is about a young girl learning to live through tragedy but with the love and support from friends she is making a life for herself. It is a bit of a roller coaster ride as you walk along side Alexa but it is a good story.

College is coming to an end and the world is their oyster. The plans that Tristan Daniels and Elle Richards are piecing together are at a standstill. Elle knows what she wants but Tristan has yet to make up his mind on what he wants. Elle knows what she needs to do to help him along. Just when things are looking up for them as a couple an unexpected discovery throws them for a loop. Tristan watching the one he loves suffer decides to take things into his own hands
and call in the troops. After coming to grips with another loss they are yet again hit with something from the past that no one in a million years saw coming. Hardships have been fought, some they have lost and others they have won but this, this will definitely put their relationship to the test. The will be the ultimate sacrifice. Tristan and Elle’s friend, Paul is home from his stint in the army and wants to rekindle the love he believes is his. Will Elle & Tristan be strong enough to weather the storm that has been thrust upon them or
will it be too much for them as a couple? Will Elle accept the changes to come for the man she loves or will it all be too great a sacrifice? Can Tristan and Elle accept that their lives will forever be changed and move forward together? When old and new friends come together will it be to much to disrupt and destroy friendships that they have. Will Paul be able to put the past behind him and move forward?
This is the final book in the series with a lot of ups and downs, wins and losses. It was such an emotional journey and it is a great way to finish up the series.

Nate knows the moment Seraphina has made her decision, a decision she has made to keep those she loves safe. Seraphina has made her decision and has packed and said her goodbyes but still finds it extremely hard leaving behind all she has known. She realises she has to lie to those she loves and she doesn’t know when she will get to see them again. Now she is moving in with her boyfriend, her fallen angel, Nate. Now it is Nate’s turn to teach, train and mentor Seraphina with all that he knows to help her with her new found powers. Jack misses seeing Seraphina and constantly contacts her. He can’t deal with not being in Sera’s life and after seeing Seraphina and Nate together finally decides to take drastic measures. Jack does something he has sworn he would never do, something that he may not be able to come back from. Will this bring Jack and Sera closer together or will this finally be the end of their friendship? As Nate and Sera try to come to terms with what she is exactly, what she has become and what she can do, they have to deal with the strange occurrences, disappearances, dreams and demons. But can Nate keep her safe when he doesn’t have the powers he once had? Will the battle for good or evil prevail? Will Sera do the one thing she wants more than life and that is to keep Nate safe?

This book is the second book in this series the first being Awakening which I really enjoyed. Seraphina’s Initiation certainly does not disappoint. I love the characters and Sheena makes a perfect blend of humor and seriousness and Seraphina and Nate are the perfect blend of strength and vulnerability. This is one story you won’t want to miss.

Agnes is an 82 years old widow who has lived a hard life and is now battling Dementia. She lives alone on her farm, Alsace and is haunted by her past, ghosts and dragons. Sarah, her neighbour is her one link to a normal world. Noah Carter’s tragic childhood has left him a shy and unsure loner. He has made a life for himself in Myrtle Beach South Carolina but that life is about to be turned upside down as he finally faces and Uncle who has been searching for him for many years. Finally reunited with family and to help ease Sarah’s burden, Noah finds himself at Alsace farm helping the often confused old lady. Tayte was left alone and neglected as a child and finds it hard to trust and let people in. As she arrives in town for the funeral of her estranged parents, Tayte is reunited with a Grandmother she has not seen since she was a little girl. The unlikely three are thrown together, under very trying circumstances, with each of them fighting their own demons and secrets from the past. Will they each be able to heal and find their own redemption and love and be able to make a normal life or will they fail in this thing called life? Will the secrets be too much and cause trouble than they can handle?

The Dragons of Alsace Farm is a very emotional journey and the characters definitely capture your heart. It is well worth the read.

Julianne meets Angus Adams, a geeky man, a Baron, who has returned to town after his father’s death. A man who has not lived in Huntly since he was a young boy. But on top of all this she is dealing with strange and often gruesome occurrences that are getting more twisted with each happening. Leaving all around her to worry for her safety and leading her to the most magnificent place she has ever seen.
Will the secret Jackson reveals to her, hurt her more than he can know and cause trouble in their relationship? Will Julianne learn more about the geeky Baron Angus Adams? Will her dreams come true and will she finally find her dream fantasy man who will give her everything she has ever wanted? Will she find the truth behind the strange occurrences before it is to late? The main character Julianne just cracked me up but I felt for her along the way. If you like something a little witty with romance then this book is for you.

Heather, Elle’s sister is in Rehab for a drug addiction but Elle doesn’t know, she hasn’t seen or heard from her for months. Months and months of worry over where she is or if she is even alive. Their father has told Heather that he will take her home for christmas but pulls out at the last minute. He pays Heather’s airfare and after much debating manages to catch the flight. Elle and Tristan are finally together, so in love and going strong and they have just arrived home
to celebrate Christmas with family. Heather finally contacts Elle and tells her she will be home for Christmas. After enjoying Christmas day they receive a call that will change their lives forever. Elle is not able to deal with the terrible tragedy pushes Tristan away, the one person who loves her more than anything and vowed to be there if she fell. Tristan tells her he will wait but for how
long? Will Elle be able to forgive and find what she needs to continue a relationship with Tristan? I understand what Elle is going through but I just wanted to smack some sense into her. Having said that I really like this story and the characters Elle and Tristan. Angela has a way of writing that draws you in.

After low self esteem and self confidence with herself after a failed marriage, Catherine is at Club T to try to learn to live again. She finds herself second guessing about being there as she wasn’t so comfortable with the last person she met there. After facing her fears she goes ahead and meets Calvin who starts her on the path of self discovery. Catherine on her road to self discovery becomes closer with Will someone she has known for a while through friends and they become close friends. While Catherine is trying to heal and find herself her ex husband continues to interrupt her life. After his mother’s death Catherine is forced to reveal a few home truths to him to try to help him get back on track. Will is trying to make ends meet, after sending money home to Australia to his mother to pay for his brothers care, by modelling and working at a club. He has trouble letting people help him and thinks his brother is his responsibility to provide care for financially. Will Catherine find herself and love again? Will, Will be able to let go and realise that he is not responsible for his brothers care and be able to finally accept help?

OMG Aubrey is a true storyteller. I am glad to have read her work and strongly suggest you do to. I will certainly be reading more of Aubrey’s other work.

Simon, Nautica’s brother has warned everyone and anyone that his little sister is off limits. He is worried about her going to college whilst he is in the army but Bracken has assured his best friend that he will look out for her.

Nautica is out for night on the town with her best friend, Macy, but yet again her best friend has left her high and dry. Contemplating her next move, she hears the familiar voice that has a hold on her, the one she has had a crush on, a crush she has had for as long as she can remember, her brothers best friend Bracken Casey. After Bracken catches her at the bar he is talked into letting her hanging out with him and his friends to keep an eye on her. After having nowhere to spend the night she spends the night at Brackens in his bed.

Simon, Nautica and Bracken all head home for the holidays and Simon finds out about Nautica’s secret. Simon, being unable to handle what he has learned he takes off and ends up in an accident and on the critical list. Bracken unable to deal with all that has happened that night takes off and is not see or heard from for five years. Now he is back and wants to take back what is his.

Will friendships and broken hearts be mended? This book is a good read and well written. If you like young love, forbidden love, betrayals and finding yourself, then this book is for you.

Tristan has been happy attending the University where he is playing what he loves, football. It wasn’t his first choice but he sacrificed it for his best friend, Elle, after his father threatened to ruin her chances. Encouraged by his fiance, Kellie, he applied to the same Uni she will be attending and has been accepted. Kellie knows Elle and Tristan are best friends but she does not like the closeness between them and feels threatened especially now since they will be attending the same college. Tristan has not told Elle about Kellie and is worried what Elle’s reaction will be when she finds out about his engagement to Kellie.

After the transfer Tristan finally contacts Elle and lets her know about Kellie and his transfer to the same Uni. Elle is taken aback at this news and tries to hide her feelings for Tristan, the one she has loved her whole life. Elle tries to be friends with Kellie and get over Tristan but finds she can’t. Alyssa, Elle’s other best friend gives her the kick she needs to move on and starts to date Eric. Tristan is given an ultimatum from Kellie, it’s either her or Elle but Tristan refuses to give up Elle, the girl he has loved his whole life.

Will Tristan and Elle finally be brave enough to tell each other how they feel or will they continue to make do?

I really wanted to smack some sense into both Tristan and Elle but enjoyed this story along with the background stories. If you enjoy contemporary romance, then this is a book for you.

After putting of going to University for two years, Finlay Thatcher is finally attending the University of Alabama. For two years Finlay Thatcher is trying to move on with her life after losing her best friend, her other half, her brother, her twin, Cole. Cole had been her life but that life was sadly taken away from her. Cole was becoming the one thing he always wanted to be, a quarterback in football and he was damn good but Finlay was pushing him away because his fame was too much for her, now he had been taken away, when she had treated him so badly, and now she would never have the chance to make amends for her actions.

Now Finlay is a water girl for the football team and has to face Caden Brooks. A man she has hated for two years. A man who has taken the place on the football team that should have been her brothers. A man she knows she should stay away from but the more they are together the more she can’t find the reasons she once had to hate him.

Caden Brooks is the quarterback and feels himself drawn to Finlay. A girl he should not have feelings for. A girl who is not only beautiful but is sassy and smart. Caden Brooks hates his father and wants nothing to do with him for cheating and walking out on his mother. But is Caden in trouble of doing what his father once did? Will Finlay be able to forgive herself and move on to be alive again?

This is a sweet story of two people overcoming their past. I was in tears and felt for Finlay a girl who had lost so much and was trying to find her way back. If it makes me emotional it is a good story.

Jill and Tom are spending Christmas home alone, no family, no kids, just the two of them . Tom has been out of work for two years and it has put a strain on not only their finances but their love life as well. Both are missing the intimacy that they have shared and wonder if it will ever come back. Tom has a new job to start and with it has bought a new found confidence that he has been sadly lacking the last two years.

They have decided to only spend five dollars on each other for Christmas presents and little do they know that they will be the best presents they could each have received at a much needed time.

I really enjoyed this book. This is a lovely story about two people rediscovering each other in more than one way and realising their love for each other is stronger than ever.

Nathaniel takes up his role as guardian to watch over Seraphina (Sera). Nathaniel doesn’t know why he’s been sent to watch over her but begins to suspect there is more to her than meets the eye. When he starts to feel things for her he takes time out to think about things. Unfortunately when he is not watching over her an accident happens and he does the only thing he can think of, to save her life. God calls Nathaniel back to be punished for what he has done. Nathaniel is now a fallen angel, Nate, who can’t wait to get back to Sera and finally meet her.

Sera has been having strange dreams and always dreams about he man with the blue eyes. The dreams, having happened ever since she was 18 years old, makes her feel she is living two lives and is always exhausted from them. When strange things start happening to Sera, she thinks she is going crazy but she also believes she is meant for more. Sera grudgingly goes with her best friend, Amanda, to see a psychic. Whilst waiting for Amanda she is approached by Anna, another psychic who tells her that she needs trust in herself to face what is to come.

This story is well written and if you are into good and evil, Angels and Demons and romance then this book is for you.

Tatiana has a good life, a good job, good friends and her dog but Tatiana is looking for a man to love, a man that won’t up and leave her, the man of her dreams. Tatiana has been hurt in the past by men and finds it hard to trust and self esteem issues. On her way to work on day Tatiana is involved in an accident but instead of being hurt she somehow finds herself outside the car with a mystery man who has saved her. When she turns around to inspect the car and turns back he has gone but she cannot stop thinking about this mystery man.

Tatiana crosses paths again with this gorgeous mysterious man, Jasper. Jasper is more than he seems, he is a Guardian angel for the Guardian League. Jasper sees Tatiana as more than his charge, she is his mate. Tatiana is trying to let go of her past relationship fears as she builds a relationship with Jasper. Jasper will do anything for Tatiana and shows her his true self and does things that he is not supposed to do with a human and because of this gets called to front up at the Council. The council gives Jasper an ultimatum give up being an angel or give up Tatiana. Will Jasper give up the woman he loves or give up the job he loves? Can Tatiana get over her fears and have a life with the man she loves?

I am looking forward to reading more of this series. Who wouldn’t want to have their very own guardian angel?

He knows he is dead but how or why he doesn’t know. He also knows he spent time in Hell and doesn’t know how or why he is back from there. He knows he now inhabits the body of a man called Michael. He knows he was a successful businessman before he died but now he hunts monsters.

Michael takes note of the suicides of students at a University in Oakland and knows there is more to the story. He knows he needs to go to the Uni to investigate and sets about making sure he gets a job there as a psychology professor. There he meets Lacy an assistant professor in the psychology department who he forms a friendship with. Michael mentions to Lacy that he has noticed that one of the students seems to be acting strange. Lacy notices the same thing and lets Michael know what she has seen.

Michael learns that a demon is involved and he calls in his friend Evo for help. Together as they investigate they realise they are all in danger and are in a battle for their lives. Evo calls in a favour and they meet Alethia who agrees to help them. After ending up back in Hell, Michael is saved but Evo ends up stuck there. When Michael trades his own life for the one he loves he is once again pulled from entering Hell and finds out who and what he truly is.

Can Michael fight the demons and find his way back to the one he loves? Will Evo be saved from a life in Hell?

I enjoyed this book. It is action packed full of all sorts of paranormal beings. I want to read the next book to see where this story goes.

As Mellie stands looking at the house her grandfather has left her, Mellie realises she has done the bravest thing she has ever done in her life, driven by herself away from her safety net, to a place she has never seen. Taking a look around she discovers that the place needs more work than she expected and even though she knows she has a crew coming to do the repairs she decides to make a start on things. Mellie becomes scared out of her mind when she realises she is not alone in the house but once her panic attack subsides she realises it is her brothers friend, Smith, the one who is going to do the repairs. Smith comes to realise that something bad has happened to Mellie and knows he wants to be the one to help her, protect her. He knew it was bad but when he finds out exactly what happened to her it makes him even more protective of her. Jay, Mellie’s brother is a detective and is trying to juggle his job and keeping an eye out to protect his baby sister. It now seems that there is more than one threat to her life. Can both Smith and Jay keep Mellie safe? Can Mellie finally get over being frightened and having a normal life? Can Smith finally find peace with his past?

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved the characters and my heart ached for them as I went on this journey with them.

After Tiffany is accosted by her drunk ex boyfriend Todd comes to the rescue and gives in to his feelings. Tiffany and Todd talk and decide to give it a shot but strange things start to happen that seems that someone is trying to keep them apart.

Rich socialite, Angela, has been sent to Romania to work at an orphanage for a year by her parents for all the trouble she caused. She has spent all her life lying and manipulating and her family want nothing to do with her. When she arrives Angela wants nothing to do with Romania and the appalling conditions she finds there. Through Ivy, Angela starts to find a side of herself she has never known and realises just how little money can make you happy.

Lurking in the background is someone out for revenge. A plot has been hatched to kidnap Tiffany and make others suffer. While Tiffany thinks she is out for a day of fun, everyone else is trying to find her after receiving a ransom letter.

Will Tiffany be found in time and who are her kidnappers? Will Angela be able to face her past and make amends for all the bad she has done?

M K Harkins has done it again with the next instalment of this series. I love the characters and enjoyed the stories of Tiffany and Angela. You will love this story and won’t want to put it down.

Malaq tells his brother King Draken that Ian Troy is dead. His death came about due to the collapse of a mine.

Ian Troy was captured and kept prisoner by King Drakens demand. Prisoners are kept at Darkhorne prison which is a bleak and horrifying place and kept under control with a drugs. Troy has lost his memory as a result of the drugs administered to him while he was in prison. He wakes on a ship and doesn’t remember who he is and what happened to him. Troy tries to recover his memories but gets frustrated with how slowly they are returning. As the memories start to return he wonders if it was better not knowing. Troy’s magic use and the effects it has on his body and mind leads him to wonder if he will turn out like his father, a Reth.

Malaq is building a force of people from across the lands who are willing to fight for what they believe in. Troy’s relationships are strained and he struggles to rebuild trust as he blames himself for things that he has done whilst in captivity. He discovers he has many friends, old and new, who are willing to help him as they believe that any hope they have of freedom lies with him. Troy’s quest is to restore power to the Crown of Stones with the help of others but there are consequences for the magic users when they cast.

Troy and his best friend are my favorite characters but I felt anger and sadness by the things that happen to them. This is a fast paced story, that is full of drama, action and magic. I am sure you will enjoy this journey into this magical world.

Maureen is determined to get out of hospital and on with her life after spending weeks recovering from being shot. Whilst her doctor is trying to tell her how to look after herself, Maureen is focused on the man lurking outside her hospital room. Abel is here for something but she doesn’t know what it is. He gives her a lift home where she discovers her husband has moved another woman in.

Abel informs her that he has an undercover job for her at Shadow Valley Manor and who her contact will. The welcome she receives it hostile but this does not stop Maureen from barging her way in. Her time of arrival at the Manor coincides with a death of one of the people living there.

Maureen soon discovers her contact has been murdered and more strange deaths keep happening with a lot of unanswered questions. Maureen is used to working with the Paranormal and tries to piece things together. The things she finds leads her to more questions and finds that they could be related to her past.

Will Maureen be able to save the residents of Shadow Valley Manor or will she like so many other fall victim to the unnatural happens?

This story is well written with lots of twists and turns and surprises. If you like crime and paranormal then you will like this story.

Now the research facility, Bastian Research, that she is employed at now find themselves out of funds to keep it open. Deciding they need help with finding funding they turn to a venture capitalist company. Braydon Decker who has spent his life building his company has no desire to have a normal relationship with a woman. He takes what he needs and kicks them out after being traumatised at school. After looking over Bastian Research proposal, Braydon decides they just do not have the time to help them out. When the Bastian Research team Martin, Jain and Colin go to meet with Braydon and his right hand man Todd, no one expected sparks to fly, least of all Braydon. Will Braydon change his mind and help out the team or will he stick to his guns? Can Jain overcome all her insecurities and a secret she has keep silent about for years?

All these questions and more are answered in this great story. M K Harkins is a very talented writer. Do yourself a favour and read this book you will not be disappointed.

When 8 year old Lily moves into her new house she meets Trevin. They become the best of friends and inseparable day and night. Trevins life is baseball, music, his mum and Lily. After leaving a baseball game there is a car accident that changes Trevins life forever. For Trevins 18th birthday Lily signs him up for an audition for Sony Records. A week after auditioning Trevin gets the call that starts his dream and gets him away from the home life he hates. Six months later and Lily goes to visit Trevin only to find he has changed and not for the better. Unable to bear what he has become she walks away. He is unable to not have her in his life and vows to prove to her that he should be with her.

After many ups and downs Lily moves in with Trevin but only as friends. After time they realise they should be together but Lily starts to become someone she neither knows or likes and feels the only way to fix it is to walk away to find herself. Is Lily able to find herself and let Trevin back into her life? Will Trevin be able to prove he is able to have the 2 loves of his life, Lily and music?

I loved this story. It is refreshing change from the normal love stories out there. I was with the characters every step of the way through love and heartbreak. Well done Lauren you have done a great job.
